Perry holds Prydz, Pussycats off No.1
Katy Perry has fended off competition from Eric Prydz and the Pussycat Dolls to remain atop the UK singles chart.
Her debut single 'I Kissed A Girl' has now notched up five weeks at No.1 - the longest chart reign since Duffy's 'Mercy' spent the same length of time on top in February and March.
Prydz remains in second place with 'Pjanoo', while the Pussycat Dolls debut in third with 'When I Grow Up'.
Notable gains come from Miley Cyrus, who climbs from 23 to 14 with 'See You Again', and Ne-Yo, who leaps from 39 to 18 with 'Miss Independent'.
Meanwhile, reformed boyband New Kids On The Block debut at 34 with comeback single 'Summertime'.
