Forbidden Love Part Twenty-Two Just the three of us
It was the following morning and it wasn’t much of a surprise to Demi when Chloe or Brooke didn’t turn up at her house for school. So Demi left with Darren and went to school with him. At the gates Demi looked around for Leo as knew she didn’t have her friends by her at the moment. When she spotted him he came over, he pecked her on the cheek as Darren rolled his eyes.
“Well, look like my mates have ditched me.” Demi said not sounding too bothered as she watched Brooke and Chloe walking about with the popular girls of the school. “Never mind aye?” Demi shrugged, She placed one arm around Leo and the other round Darren. “I’ve still got your two though aint I. So it looks like its just us three now, just like the old days.”
Demi smiled as Darren and Leo swapped evil looks. Darren had a problem with Leo the fact that Leo was all over his sister, and Leo could easily tell that Darren didn’t like him so he wasn’t going to pretend he liked him either. Demi walked off as the two boys were still looking at each other.
“C’mon!” Demi smiled as she looked back at her boyfriend and her brother. Leo turned form Darren and walked forward a little then he turned back to Darren and said
“C’mon, look I know ya hate me but I’m gonna put it all aside for Demi, because I love her, and she needs us right now, so just grow up yeah and stop thinking about your self and start thinking about her…” Leo snapped as he walked off and grabbed Demi’s hand as they begun to walk waiting for Darren.
“Yea course I don’t care!” Darren muttered under his breath sarcastically “Don’t mind me, I’m only her brother” He snapped to himself as he sighed joining up with them not letting Leo get to him.

It was almost the end of the day and Demi was getting used to the fact that she didn’t have her friends anymore, well not her girlie friends anyway. But she had her boyfriend and her brother and that was all she really needed. She’d grown up with only the two of them and now it was back to just them three again, Demi was happy, even if she didn’t notice that Leo and Darren weren’t getting on to well.

It had now been two months since Demi broke up with her friends Brooke and Chloe. Demi was still seeing Leo and the only friends she had left were Leo, Darren, Cael and Jimmy. Demi wasn’t particular bothered as this was how it was for years since Demi can remember.
“Want some tea Mickey love?” Rosie smiled as her eldest son walked into the room.
“Nah thanks mum, I’m off down to walford to see Martin, Spencer and that lot”
“Again! You spend all your life down that place, like ya second home” Rosie said as she dished up the dinner for her, Keith and the twins.
“Yeah well, people down there are a lot nicer then the ones round here.”
“Even Natalie and Michelle” Darren teased as these were the girls on their estate that Mickey had taken a shine to.
“Well you aint seen Kelley and Zoë have ya Darren.” Mickey said smiling broadly. He left the house leaving the rest of his family to eat their dinner.

“So what you kids up to tonight?” Rosie asked as she walked in to see the twins sat on the sofa looking board.
“Duuno…” Darren sighed as he looked at the TV.
“There aint nothing is there..”
“Looks like another night out aye Dem’s..” Darren smiled as Demi beamed a little, her chance to see Leo.
“Yeah well don’t get into trouble alright… lets have one week where we don’t have the police, neighbours or any tom.. Dick or Harry knockin’ on our door bout ya aye…” Rosie smiled as she watched her kids run out the front door.
The twins smiled as they walked across the green over to the crowd of teenagers by the garages.
“Alright?…” Darren smiled as they walked up to their mates.
“What y up to..?” Demi asked as the boys shrugged.
“Duno…” Cael shrugged as he turned to Jimmy.
“Just hangin’’” He replied as Demi nodded.
“So where’s Leo?..” Demi asked casually as Cael tutted shaking his head as he put his arm round Demi.
“What’s the matter.. We aint good enough for ya” Cael teased as Demi shook her head.
“Not really no…. not for the things I want Leo to do anyway ” She laughed as the boys al grinned.
“Ooooo”
“No not like that… I mean just be here, y’know it’s cold init, little cuddle and things”
“What you think my muscles are for… I can keep ya warm..” Cael smiled as he put his arms round Demi.
“No ya alright…” Demi teased pushing him away. “Look’s like Jimmy could do with a bit or warmin’ up though” she laughed with a grin. Just then Leo walked over and slipped his arms round Demi from behind giving her a little kiss on the cheek. That night Demi stayed with Leo out by the estate with their mates until 11pm. No one could interrupt them or drag them home for being with each other. Demi just dreaded the day her family would find out…. The couldn’t keep it a secret for ever.
