Coronation Street revisits Anna Windass's jail storyline next week as concern mounts over the lack of news on her release.
Anna was sentenced to five years in prison in January after Pat Phelan managed to frame her for GBH.
The big reveal of Phelan's killing spree left Anna's family with fresh hope that she could be freed, since her conviction mainly relied on the villain's bogus evidence.
In next week's episodes, the local residents start to worry as the authorities are clearly in no rush to help Anna despite everything that's happened.

Fortunately, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is on the case as he vows to start a press campaign to secure Anna's release from prison.
Daniel is confident that media buzz will help to hurry things along for the Windass family, who are desperate for Anna to get the justice she deserves.
Phelan's daughter Nicola Rubinstein (Nicola Thorp) also decides to get involved, paying a visit to Eileen and encouraging her to back the campaign to free Anna.
Although Anna clearly needs all the support she can get right now, Eileen (Sue Cleaver) refuses to be part of it – complaining that she feels too ashamed to be fronting any public campaign.

Can Nicola convince Eileen to see sense? And is there still hope for Anna?
Corrie's exit for Anna marked Debbie Rush's departure from the role after nine years of drama on the cobbles and show bosses have yet to confirm whether she'll be back as part of this story.

I really hope Anna is freed and returns for Pat Phelan's trial but I think he will be killed off ultimately by Nicola
