geoff was he controlling with tim's mam
I was wondering that too. Not only is he controlling but it looks like knows how to sell on stolen goods too - has he always been like that?
That scene where he tore up Kal's photograph was awful, mostly because it was completely unnecessary. It has no financial value so he could have returned it to Yasmeen somehow - maybe pretending that the thieves had thrown it away and that he had found it, which would still serve his purpose of making Yasmeen grateful towards him. It's so sad that she's lost the picture of her dead son.
The whole storyline is a bit odd as there's been no indication up until now that Geoff would sell someone else's belongings or that he would know someone dodgy. The idea that he would buy a replacement is odd too as he's made no financial gain, it's all just part of the manipulation.
So is Maria now working only in Trim Up North as barber? Thought she was meant to superwise but still work in Audrey's salon???
I thought he had made up with Bethany after the Alya mix up or did they decide to just be friends.
When did Craig become a self defense expert? - The Community Centre really should be given back to the community, first a photography course in the cafe and now self defense in the gardens, what next yoga in The Rovers?
geoff came in as a hospital dj cheering up patients, big change now
I have never liked Geoff, found him a bit of a knowall and too smarmy. - Now he is trying to drive Alya out so he can have Yasmeen all to himself. Does he still have is own place somewhere, I love how Soap characters move from one plsce to another with a minimum of fuss and effort and just a few bin bags.
I should have known Geoff would find a way to make himself look good, even after tearing up the photo. Although a poster sized picture of your deceased son might be a bit OTT or it that just me?
Why didn't David and Nick tell the police that their mother set them up, there were enough witnesses there.
carla all better and eating in 3 places
Beth (to Steve): I’m always posting pictures of my peanut online. You should see the amount of likes I get.
I had to replay it. Yes, she did say 'peanut'. I imagined it as a Finnbar Saunders moment.
How was Geoff able to produce a big photo of Kal when he had ripped up the only photograph Yasmeen had??? :hmm:
Was it wrong to cheer when Sean got punched? Some lovely comedy. I am glad Gail left Audrey at A&E. I did laugh when Audrey got hit on the back of the head by Gail's lady and David's put down to Nick saying "At least I don't look 90." :rotfl:
I was expecting Gail to go into the prison shouting 'I've come for my boys' like Ben Cartwright.
So, a clear win for Corrie in the lazy scriptwriting stakes tonight. While EastEnders could only come up with the "we've run out of milk" cliche tonight, Corrie had not only a burnt dinner but an instant airline ticket as well. Well done.
gail off to bangkok while poor nick "attacked" as in his suit taken
all the factory staff are ungrateful f#ckers and beth so unlikable
Good for Gail. Who can blame her. She has a rotten family who take her for granted, doing the washing, ironing, cleaning and cooking and being a baby sitter at the drop of a hat.
David has never shown any respect to his mother hence he always refers to her as "Gail." Nick has turned into a vile money grabbing yuppy, (do we still have yuppies?) Sarah Lou is wrapped up in her own little world and then we have Audrey, a man in every port who was a dreadful mother and is not much better now. It winds me up that Audrey tries to be a pillar of the community, the trollop trying to make good. The only decent one amongst them is Bethany.
I did smile at Nicholas in his vest and Y Fronts. I think David was right, he does look about 90!
Why Bangkok? Has she ever shown any interest in it before? And was she travelling first class or do airports offer complimentary champagne at the boarding gate now?
Pah, details, details. Don't bother the viewers with details.Unless of course there's a twist - another one to have stolen money from Audrey? It does seem to run in the family.
I'll keep an eye open for Gail when she arrives. I've lived in Thailand for twenty years, although she probably won't be coming to the impoverished north-east where I live.
I wonder if she meets Natalie in Bangkok and tells her about the boys being in prison and Natalie comes back to Weatherfield to explain how Nick was behind stealing Audrey's money and Dave gets set free and Nick gets a lengthy jail sentence ... Ben Price's exit storyline ??? :hmm:
I enjoyed the Daniel and Sinead scenes, they were well played and very sweet. Little Bertie is adorable. A good twist over David and Nick. Sarah means business. I just want to punch Leanne. So Jack P will be out of the show for a bit I bet he is having a nice break as is Helen, apparently Helen is not back filming yet. I do like Evelyn and Roy together.
Did Simon not return with Peter?
Nick came good in the end but little sister Sarah played him at his own game
I like Sinead and Daniel's storyline too but I just hope the writers will give it the attention it deserves instead of constantly shelving it to make room for other storylines as it has lost momentum a little.
So, Gary drives home and Rick's daughter follows him on foot and gets there at the same time.
Prolly was just round corner from Rosamund Street or so..
Evelyn and Roy, romance potential if they ever agree and become friends first?
