Been encouraged to start posting here after being converted to Emmerdale this year. Really enjoyed the house collapse this week -- Thursday's was fantastic for the sheer action side - I definitely wasn't expecting the house to collapse as completely as it did - but I think Friday was my favourite of the week for all the emotion that was coming through from all sides. Favourite scenes were the Kings collapsing together when they thought Jimmy was dead, and Bob at the end when Dawn died. :(
Welcome:) I just loved it Friday when Matt/Tom were clinging to one another and I just love the scenes with the two of them. Matt really loves his dad and I think that although Tom loves all his sons dearly I think that he loves Matt the most and looks to him for strength and to help hold the family together.Quote:

The scenes with Bob and Dawn were very moving both before and after her death, the way they were talking in the ambulance and laughing together, then again at her bedside. Then the emotion from Bob and the rest of the Windsors including Scott was very good.
The most heart touching scene of all for me was at the end when they found Noreen and there was no one there.
A heartbreaking episode on Friday! It was so sad when Noreen was found at the end, and everyone has seemed to forgotten about her. I hope too she gets a mention in this week's episodes, it was very sad.
I loved Sadie's face when she thought Jimmy was dead but it turned out another body was found (the estate agent i think) her face was a picture! Sadie is really panicing now, i hope Jimmy survives so we can see the conclusion to this.
I was really sad when Dawn died too, there was so much emotion put into it. I felt so sorry for her whole family especially Bob. :(
Bob was as fantastic as you can be as a heartbroken parent - only Jean would do. Viv couldn't help him, as much as she wanted to - he had to be with the only other person that could feel just like he did at the moment. To think she was ok and then to see her being wheeled down the corridor like that.....heartbreaking for him.
OMG Dawn died. i cant believe i missedi it, that will teach me for sleeping in till half one in the afternoon and missing the omnibus. Ill have to watch tonight and hope that im not lost with whats happened. What was it exactly that got blew up.
Well all i can say is "congratulations" to Emmerdale. The final scene was of a lonely old lady being forgotten about and yet her death is the most commented on in the real world. Just shows you how much talent the script writers really have to have that much of an impact with one parting shot.
I will never flame a script writer ever ever again !
Well maybe only untill the next crappy storyline appears.
