sounds like your working really hard Kirsty, hope that it all pays off for you in the end. My mums a teaacher and she works with the special needs kids and loves it.
My course has a mad workload! its driving me mental. It also doesnt help that i feel so thick in comparasion to everyone else! hopefully things will start to click into place soon.

I have freshers' flu for the first time in my life. Sore throat, fever, chest pain, blocked nose, earache, lethargy. I've had a busy few days which doesn't help. Yesterday I went over to a friend's house, cooked tea, had some alcoholic beverages, watched a film then her boyfriend came over about 11pm. Cue more alcohol and smoking (which hasn't helped my chest) and four hours sleep. We drove back to mine this morning, I went to a lecture then we went shopping afterwards.
I had my tragus pierced today. Given my future career will involve appearing in court in some form or another, I'm not sure if it was a good idea but I can always take it out when its healed up. Surprisingly my mother didn't even raise a Facebook eyebrow when she found out, she just said its my decision and I'm old enough to decide what I want. I would love to get more piercings and tattoos but in my projected line of work its not a good look. My job and reputation are more important than what I stick in my body.
I had a brilliant lecture this morning. I didn't think it would be that good because she told us it would last the full two hours and I've never had a lecture last the duration before. I really got into it; the British legal and justice system really interests me and its re-ignited my desire to become a lawyer. I briefly considered it a few months ago but I'm not sure what route I'd have to take. I'd need to do a conversion course but with a background in forensics, criminal law could be a really good career.
I'm thinking about changing my dissertation from dismemberment to drugs. Reading case studies and talking about dismemberment all the time is really depressing me. I'm not sure if I can stand another six months and 8000 words, and I have other modules to consider as well. Doing something that doesn't directly impact upon people's lives in the way murder does is perhaps for the best. I didn't consider it until last night when I talked to my friend about feeling down. I just don't know how to explain this to my supervisor who I've had no prior contact with and works in the biology department instead of forensics. I know all the teaching staff in forensics, I get on well with them and they know my situation. I feel comfortable approaching them if I'm struggling but my supervisor is unapproachable.
Yeah, that's me for the past few weeks. Hope everyone else is well.
Work is sh*t at the moment. Everyone is fretting about their jobs. Last week we had a meeting with the Principal as there is talk about moving into Mirco newables but it could mean that some other courses are axed to facilitate this. So everyone is just niggiling at each other.
thats whats happening at my dads place at the minute. They need to lose 50% of the staff.
I have a job interview for Asda tomorrow. Scary stuff!!
