carla should be in hospital and roy back in his own flat
Why do people in films and on tv never look at a door when they want to make a phone call that somebody else in the house is not meant to know about? :p
Steve actually wasn't too bad in the robbery scenes - there was even a glimpse of better acting when he was genuinely scared. But all too soon he was back to OTT acting and that stupid shouty voice that he does in times of stress.
I agree about Carla - she's clearly not well enough to be out of hospital. And Roy has been living in that flat for as long as I can remember. Why should he feel he has to move out? Maybe the producers are trying to get him out of his comfort zone as a character and see how he gets on in a different environment? Whatever the reason it'll be weird seeing him live in someone else's house after all this time.
What was the result of Roy's trip, did he find whose initials were on the ring or has that all been forgotten about now and we've moved on to something else?
is moira living in with mcdonalds too, tracy could move into her flat with steve and amy evicting billy
Is Sally taking over from Gail as the Street's idiot
Steve loses his licences, what now for Street Cars?
how did liz tracy and eileen get licences this soon
bethany loves helping gary
I'm nearly sure Tracy has a licence already which she got back in 2004 or thereabouts, around the time she was trying to get money out of Roy and Hayley for her baby. Not sure why she got it, probably to get a job at Streetcars alongside Steve who she was chasing at the time.
Natalie is a complete nutter and could potentially cause a lot of trouble for David and Nick if they get on her wrong side. And Sean was just annoying, going on about PTSD. You would think being homeless would have helped him get his priorities in order.
I am slowly falling asleep in every episode and as for the "roof" saga, does anyone care?
I expect it's Robert as he is leaving, pity he could'nt take Sinead, Daniel, NIck along too!
Corra really needs to get some imagination and write some interesting or exciting stories, yawn yawn
bad start to big week just not funny, i miss classic comic corrie moments, again carla should be in hospital
Not to mention she really exaggerated her Scots accent.
Does anyone feel sympathy for snobbish stupid Sally, the stupid git never learns thinking she's above everybody else...
finally kate and peter see that carla needs hospital
If your passport is missing /stolen you can get it cancelled and order another one. Surely all these clients of rik couldhave done that
So Sally likes a deep shag... what would Ena and Minnie have to say about that?
The horse storyline might be stupid but one of the high points of this week (so far) has been seeing a glimpse of the old Gail, instead of the silly buffoon she's become recently. I really felt sorry for Audrey too, given how much she has done for her family over the years. It's a pity the Platts couldn't have just had a normal holiday but it's good to see Audrey and Gail at the centre of a serious storyline.
Last night's episode was amazing. I loved how it looked and felt so different to the usual style of filming and the Rana cameo was genuinely shocking.
Of course there were plotholes too, like Gary being able to steal Sarah's phone back from Carla and listening to his incriminating voicemail in a public place, but in general it really held my attention, right to the end.
Was it worth all the build up? For the most part, yes, but I think the "special episode" concept was revealed too far in advance. Personally I felt like we were waiting for it for far too long and a lot of hope was pinned on it, as if it could make up for all the rubbish plots we've had. Maybe they should focus on producing good episodes all year round, rather than depending on BGT weeks.
They need to get a balance... I loved this week, especially Carla's episode,... whatever storyline .. you always get people that do not like it .. for whatever reason and that is good ... I personally loved the Carla scenes .. others less but they were needed to explain the storyline we as viewers have not seen yet :)
how did carla have sarah's phone? overall for me not a good big week
And Gail is as usual treating Nick as 'the golden boy'. What does he have to do to convince Gail otherwise, go on a murder spree? I think personally he's an oily snake and suggesting that David take the fall for him because he can't lose Leanne and/or go to Jail is ridiculous.
I felt a bit deflated by Friday's episode, perhaps I was expecting too much? I liked the filmic way it was shot and Alison King was superb. Take Carla out of the week of episodes and you have very little. We all knew it was Gary from the previous episode. Sometimes I think CS and ITV treat us all like prized idiots.
Monday we see Gemma Street back. :wall:
No one asks about Fiz.
Has Norris gone away again?
Still no mention of what Roy found out re the initials.
She's been going around stealing phones apparently, although I've no idea how she managed to do that. In general I enjoyed the week but I could have done without the horse scenes and Sally's dinner party. Maybe they should just focus on one storyline in future, which would allow them to include other characters and how that storyline affected them.
was carla stealing phones from roy flat as i thought she was not going out or seeing anyone over her paranoia mental health problem
I always think if you are going to have a meeting with your solicitor to discuss your defence against possible fraud and money laundering charges, it is always best to hold it in a public place where anyone can overhear. Roy's Rolls would be ideal.
If Gary was able to pay all the knicker stitchers' wages with what he raised from selling the passports back, either he had an inordinate number of passports or they don't get paid very much. And, you know what, if I was offered my own passport back for £200 by someone I might either call the police or just say, "No thanks, I'll just order a replacement one from the Passport Office."
does sophie's bird paula have any legal office, sally had to hold her dinner party so no home either
Alison King is a good actress but all the work she has done to her face is distracting
I am surprised Leanne let Simon go with Peter but she is more interested in standing by guilty Nick who I hope really does end up in prison
Are the police looking for Natalie?
