Whilst the storyline was a bit of light relief I really don't think even the soap police would arrest someone in hospital whilst their husband was undergoing serious surgery. I think the scriptwriters are taking the pi55

Was it not, the owner, Ted's fingerprints Craig was hoping to find, assuming he had a criminal record. Although I cannot remember why Craig became so obsessed by finding the owner of the crutch. - Just false drama for Emma and Faye.
