i went to portugal to chill out with the family - my mum, step dad and brother!! really sad at 25 but hey - it was cheap and i needed to get away, i had recently split with my boyf, so needed to get away from all things here!!
i got back and it sodding rained!!!! i could feel my tan draining out of me!
Aww don't apologise Kirsty, that's what this thread is for. Glad you had a good time Abbie and good luck with your results when you get them.
Today I was going to go to Tescos with my parents for the sake of it but I didn't get up in time. They bought a new hoover while they were there which shocked me as they must have had the same one for 25 years! A friend from school who had to move school when she went into care rang me earlier. She was going to come down tomorrow but she can't get anyone to drive her. We're going to meet up and go shopping on Wednesday if she's allowed; both get buses and meet in the middle kind of thing.. although I have to get two buses and she only needs the one. Not a good idea to live out of town.
I got a congratulations card from my Aunt today. I can't believe she posted it, she sees my mum every week.
Been shopping this afternoon and got more things to take to uni. There's not going to be any room in the car for me at this rate. My mum is getting weird, she was asking if the rooms would have lightbulbs in them  :rotfl: She's taking this moving out thing way too seriously.
Going to my sister's tomorrow until Friday. Should pass some time, I really want to pack but I can't live out of boxes for another three weeks.
Ooo your going to Uni Abigail
Omg I hope you'll still come on here lots :D I dont know what Id do without my H&A buddy :p
So when are you going? Where are you going? ANd what are you going to study?
I'm going to Staffordshire (live in Stoke on Trent) uni three weeks today, 13th September. I'll be studying policing and criminal investigation.
I'm definately still coming on here, couldn't do without you all.
 OMG!!!!!!!!!! Firstly that is soooooooo cool :D
Secondly.----- You dod realise that Stoke on Trent is like a 30 min drive form where I live!
I go shopping sometimes Hanley, or the shopping centre there known as the potteries, I dont know if you know where that is?
lol! theres never any room in our car! and im sure when i move out completely next year we are gonna have to make at least 2 journeys, the amount of stuff ive gathered over 2yrs so far!
i wanted to live out of my suitcase while i was at home for the summer, my mum wouldnt let me though, but i couldnt see the point in unpacking all my stuff!
Really?! Hanley is about two miles from where I'll be living.
Yes I want them!!! Where are they :D
You'll have to wait till tomorrow ( well later today :p)
Yesterday i was in edinburgh yet again, cause it was such a nice day it was packed. But enjoyed it got a top and jeans out of kookai. And then went to Genarios for lunch which i insisted cause we hadn't been there in like a year so that was fun and i stuffed my face as usual you would of thought i would of learned that earting a two course meal plus a dessert which i always get may i add would make me full and feel sick but yeah i don't learn. Went up the high street which was fun and watched all the performers there, Love the high street at this time of the year. That's all i done yesterday then came home and went on msn and this and watched step up and the X factor and the Adams family which was fun:Dx Now i'm waiting for my dad to come up but he isn't comeing up till the afternoon but still it'll be fun:Dx
We were still shopping lol or wandering around Edinburgh had a slight problem were i was feeling dizzy and sick been feeling like that for a week now but just been to the doctors about my ear so i'll make myself an appointment in another week if it still persists. But yeah Italian food is gorgeous so i had to have the food was yummy:p
just about to leave to go and see my dads aunt and uncle. apparently they want to show us the work theyve had done to their house! how thrilling, i cant wait!
The nurse said there was nothing wrong with it but she did say i could get some almond oil to put in it to help ease the wax as it's may or may not be the wax she confused me a bit lol.
Went up to county Durham on friday with my partner and daughter to stay with some friends (they are about 130 mile away from us) had a Bbq sat drinking and talking till eary hours in the morning....
Saturday went round to see some other friends while we was up there then back to our friends we were staying with for another BBq and another night of Drinking talking and chilling....
Sunday My Birthday Today stayed and had dinner with our friends and they got me a birthday cake which was really nice of them.. watched the f1 and then came home...... My sister been round for a bit...
OMG!!!!! Im so bored
I mean I had work today, we were busy, which was just great first day back, wasnt it.
But ither than that, I feel like I have nothing to do. Which is odd cos I know this is what I was like before I went away but Im sooo used to going out in the mroning and not coming back till night. Going out to theme parks/ water parks and sunbathing. Now the days just seem dull, which I know seems dramatic but im soooo bloody bored and really miss Florida now :( I know I felt like when I was there I had been there ages, but really it has just flown by!!
Happy Birthday Pinkles14 :D
Happy Birthday! :)
Tannie I was in the centre or Edinburgh yesterday and up the High Street watching the street performers. Did you see the group of chinese guys and girls doing Kung FU they were brilliant. We then went into Princes street gardens and got chucked out at 8.15 as the park keeper was closing up. We are going up town next Sunday night to see the fireworks. It starts at 9pm but the bbc are showing it on the web.
Borrrrrrrrrrrrrring day!
I half heartedly tidied my room. Still it's better than nothing. I've jsut got no energy and I don't know why. I really want to go back to school now! At least there we have more laughs than we've had this whole summer holidays!
:(
Same Kirsty, except no tidying. I really should tidy it up, to say it's a tip is a massive understatement. I might get there a bit late, but my dad has said he will get me to my friend's house eventually tomorrow :D That'll be the first friend I've seen the whole summer with the exception of the prom night. I probably won't be saying this in a couple of weeks, but at the moment I want some work to be getting on with.
I tidied my whole room yesterday.. I was waiting to do it for a month now and finally the time came! :cheer:
Basically I have like piles of boxes and books under my desk and stuff of school books I kept. I was planning to throw them all away as soon as exams finished but then thought it would be best to keep them if I were to re-take them or may need them for next year so had to wait for the result to come, right..
So now it came I cleared out LOADS and got like 4 bags of books and other random stuff like magazines I have kept.. All going to recycling (ahh it feels good lol).. Also found some random books so giving that to charity..
Gave my room a good old dusting and hoover'ed up and wallah :D
I feel that there is sooo much space now so I feel clean and happy! I like the one-off big clean. My room is usually tidy (try to keep it close to tidy!) but getting rid of things makes me feel good!
I get what you mean.
A messy room is a messy mind.
I need to get under my bed and sort it out. Its just a big pile of school stuff and a load of pictures I need to put into my albums lol.. so when I geta cleaning mind on. I'll do it :) My heads a bit clearer now I've tidied, but I like it when things are sorted and I know where everything is.. expecially when I'm back in school because I concentrate sooo much better!
I took great pleasure in throwing a Physics book out today. I had no idea it was still in my room. Found a load of notes from my revision so they went in the bin too. There's still a big file full or more in the spare room, I think my mum wants to keep them  And for some reason she wanted my exam timetable.
went to visit my dads aunt and uncle yesterday and his cousin was there too. we were there for 10hrs til 1am! i just wanted to go home by the end, theres only so long you can sit there looking interested while my dads uncle went on about the war and my dads cousin went on about exploring the family tree!
