What excuse was given for Zeedan's missing?
Sally out and in the Rovers
Why is Alya blaming Sally, she did not fall on Rana or jump to make the roof cave in
Alya reasons for blaming Sally are probably wrong, but Sally could be blamed for being the main instigator of the strike which caused the workers to be in the factory and for Gina and Sally to be on the roof.
Feel sorry for Gina, with Tim being nasty to her as I think it was Sally's stupid and childish behavior that lead to her falling through the roof.
Why is there a sign up saying "Gary Windass Construction" when it is actually Jason's business?
Michelle changed her hair style again .. her fringe has grown fast mind........:p:p
Todd could be anywhere .. Eileen mentions him from time to time but never where he is ...guess we will never find out unless they decide to re-cast the character but I doubt it will happen.. shame really, great character and good actor ... silly boy though in private life :(
when did gary get the loan?
Is it possible for Michelle to become more obnoxious and annoying? What the hell does she expect? She steals, and lets not be shy about it, that's basically what she's doing, Roberts business. Treats him like an employee at best. Sends her feckless spawn over there to spy and not really do any work while making sure Robert isn't running the place into the ground (anyone else see the irony there), and then goes into full bitch mode when Roberts fires him?
Did Leanne tell Toyah a trained counsellor to dump grieving Imran, her boss
Steve and Tracy are the only bit of entertainment
Sinead texting David, when did they ever talk before?
Is Gina really gone now? I am glad her and Sally made up
I am sick to Kate, Carla and Michelle, if only the roof could take more out like them
I can't understand how Robert is suddenly the baddie, forcing Carla to admit her guilt at a memorial. Is he still blaming her for his split from Michelle? It feels a bit forced, to be honest, and seems to have come out of nowhere.
And Peter seems to have gone the same way, manipulating Roy into trying to persuade Wayne to back off.
Poor Carla. Imran i just want to punch. I should feel sorry for Kate but I don't. Gemma is the biggest skank of all skanks, revolting.
I have to say I am finding Coronation Street very unpleasant at the moment. There's Michelle being particularly nasty to Robert (and most other people), there's Robert suddenly denouncing Carla, there's Imran and his pursuit of Carla and attempted intimidation of a H&S official, there's Kate - say no more, Nick and David fleecing Audrey, Claudia looking down her nose at everyone, Peter trying to bribe Gary who is himself being bullied, Gemma who is taking advantage of Chesney and just being a slob. And worst of all, even Roy has become somewhat unlikeable, behaving completely out of character.
What has happened to Corrie?
I am so disappointed with what is going on in what has always been my favourite soap .. it is just that Emmerdale is not really doing any better imo, no longer watch EE and never have watched HO ... Corrie has become a bit of a panto show which is a shame .. yes, it used to reflect normal life but I think they are now cramming every bad events happening (knife crime, scamming elderlies, bullying etc) into every week's episodes ... slow down Corrie, one story at a time and some kindness, humour and love in the rest of the stories ... just my opinion :)
We need stories like Jack and his pigeons, Percy and his bugie, Minnie and her cat, Chalky and his dog, Hilda and her 'muriel' etc.
Corra is called "Gloomy" Street in our house, as all you see is snarling, bitching, moaning,in short no one is happy!:crying:
I used to always settle down for the night starting with"Gloomy" street, not now, I happily miss episodes as I won't have missed anything. :(
No need to be tortured into more misery, and how come not one person has mentioned Brexit? unless that was the night I skipped it
Couldn't agree more. - It seems to lack the humour it had in the past. I'd like to see more of Mary and Norris if the actor's health has improved. Corrie now seems to be trying to compete on misery with Eastenders. They have also made Tim and Gary more unpleasant and thugish. In Tim's case I think he feels guilty for getting too friendly with Gina even when his father warned him they were getting too close but he was enjoying her looking after him while Sally was in prison and did nothing to discourage her. The collapsing roof was totally unbelievable and unrealistc. The more dramatic the stories get the more amateurish and OTT the scripts and acting get. Gary and his workers had been on the roof and it bore their weight so why the sudden catastrophic collapse when Sally fell on it. Even allowing for some shadowy figure in a hoodie doing something to it with a crowbar while they themself were actually standing on it. I repeat that I think there are too many episodes per week would rather have less episodes - quality over quantity.
oh shut up kate, carla didnt kill rana
carla should take them all down with her
Haven't seen tonights episode yet, but good on Robert for standing up to that selfish nasty cow Michelle. The way she just walked in and said "You're no longer needed". I hope he fights her all the way and she doesn't get any of the bistro. She really is toxic.
Peter is making it worse for Carla, he is also ruining what was left of her relationship with Roy
Nick is a nasty bully
Did Daniel ask Chesney and Tracy to be Bertie's godparents?
Exactly right, SoC. Last night's episode was even worse. And why hasn't Imran been arrested for threatening behaviour and trying to pervert the course of justice by intimidating an H&S officer?
I think the time is fast approaching when Corrie and I shall be parting ways....
Why did the soap police arrive with blues and twos to arrest Carla?
Too right SOC! Brian is the one saving grace in Corrie at the moment - whether it's his jealousy of Wayne (helping Roy solve the ring mystery) or giving Paul an Eric Morecambe two handed face slap and sending him on his paper round with the words "start spreading the news", he steals every scene he's in, and provides much needed comedic relief. Following on from his skilful portrayal of the victim in the recent bullying storyline, it is clear that Peter Gunn is a very talented actor and worthy of awards, when they're next handed out. Brian and Mary are probably the only characters that I give a toss about at the moment, following the character changes and all consuming anger referred to by Parkerman and others above. Most episodes these days fall into the category of "well, that's half an hour of my life I'll never get back!"
Did anyone else feel annoyed with Roy in last night's episode? It feels very out of character for him, considering all he's forgiven Carla for in the past and the many times he's defended and helped her when few people would. (the Victoria Court fire, for example)
And although Carla has indeed "leaned on him" as she said herself, it hasn't been completely one sided. She supported him on Hayley's anniversary, tried to be there for him when his mother died (even though he claimed he was fine), helped him sort through Sylvia's many possessions and led him back home when he was sleepwalking. Yet he doesn't seem to have remembered any of that.
I'm not condoning Carla's actions but I think she has really needed Roy's no-nonsense support in the last few weeks.
