I woke up this morning in my clothes from last night on my bedroom floor, apparently it was a good night last night although i have been in formed i was talking to police offices and i told one of my lectuirers i fancied him as he was in the student union. That could be embarrasing come monday. Finally tidied my room, i had to as my dad is coming up on saturday and now need to work but someohow ended up on soa[boards.

you can do other stretches in this stunt/position apart from a lib, such as scorpians, scales, bow and arrows, arabesques, heel stretches etc but we dont do those yet as my housemate is the only flyer in our squad flexible enough to do those positions! the website below has pics of them though)
shoulder sit (we usually do handstand into shoulder sit where the flyer does a handstand against the bases back, the base holds the flyers leg over her shoulders and the flyer pulls herself up using her stomach muscles into the shoulder sit)

deadman (couldnt find a pic of a deadman but basically the flyer is lying flat on their back and the bases, backspot and front spot are holding the flyer up from underneath so the flyer is lying on their hands; to extend it, everyone apart from the flyer straightens their arms so the flyer is above them)
chair (we started learning this at the end of last term but found we werent strong enough to do it lol! one of the american footballers managed to do it though! so we are now doing an assisted chair which is the same as the pic but there is an extra person helping the base get the flyer in the air by holding onto their wrist of the hand which is under the flyers bum)

cradle (cant really describe this with words/pics but the website below has a video of one, scroll down til you get to "cradle" theyre in alphabetical order! although the bases shouldnt be moving around when you do a cradle, you should stay standing where you were at the beginning) - hope im allowed to post this link

last year i was a back spot as i thought i was too weak to be a base lol and front spots are boring! cos we are all girls i think im too tall to be a flyer but one of my housemates (i live with 3 other cheerleaders!) is convinced they are going to fly me this year (not really sure why cos there are loads of really small freshers, and 3 out of the 5 flyers from last year are still here) but ive flown before at our open trainings and its really fun and im not bad at it either after i got over the scaryness of it lol! i had to base on friday and i dont really like it although i found out i am strong enough to do it this year! if we manage to get guys on our squad though then id love to be a flyer! ill probably/hopefully just stick to being a back spot this year though as im good at that and know what im doing lol!Quote:

I started 'working' nearly 5 hours ago. I've done one table. :lol: I've been watching this nature show on Australia thats been on since I sat down and switched on the tv. Much more interesting then science.
I've got the morning off on Monday though because first lessons cancelled so I will just go in earlyish and do it then.
I wanted to go to Camden today but I forgot to arrange a time to meet yesterday when I had a lesson with the people I was going to go with. It annoys me that I'm the one who always has to chase them though! They wanted to come too but if I don't ring them or email them we never end up going anywhere! :rolleyes:
Was in town lookign for a costume for the Sixth Form halloween party, I'm going as a ladybird and my friend is going as a bumblebee ahah!
But then I had a text off my best friend saying her Nan had passed away earlier today. I'm gutted.
She always took us on day trips with her and bought me Christmas and Birthday presents and took us out for Christmas meals :(
I'm more gutted for my firend.. she was so close to her Nan, it's jsut such a shock.. she seemed so happy and raring to go! :(
Today has been so weird and rubbish, everythigns jsut knocked me for 6.
i sometimes forget that the reason im at uni is for a degree! :rolleyes: instead i revolve everything around netball and cheerleading and socials! i even make sure any lectures/rehearsals i have dont clash with them lol!Quote:

Lol! I miss the computer too. Spent most of the day on part of my business coursework and it's still not done :( Plenty more research documents to analyse too. My mate told me to ask her ex on MSN why he dumped her; not going well.
well the plan for today was to get up early, wash my hair, go food shopping, then clean my room, bathroom and the kitchen. so far ive washed my hair and been food shopping but then got sidetracked talking to my housemates for 4hrs lol! cleaned about half of my bathroom, though the rest of the cleaning probably wont get done! :rolleyes:

Today I have been annotating another load of research documents. Done half of my Economics homework too but I really can't be bothered to do the rest at the moment. I couldn't really be bothered to do it earlier and I think I wrote the biggest load of rubbish ever! lol. Got research and no end of coursework left to do too.
Possibly, depends how strict they are. Used to be able to go in there and get a pint no problems .. but the police found out so now they are a bit harsher.
That reminds me its my friends 18th at the weekend and she wants us all to go out but I have no ID
