I felt slightly sorry for Keith. He didn't get to perform his leaving song and he was just kinda pushed to the side whilst Lee took centre stage. Not that I object to that though :)

Soon the X Factor will be upon us
The BBC has an advantage over ITV, their shows are far classier and they raise money for charity whereas ITV line their pockets with viewers money. And the BBC put quality before quantity.
I suppose I could stay in and get saving to go see Joseph in London later in the year.
ooooo I want to go see Joseph in lonodn when is it in the west end?
Opens 6th July at the Adelphi. It's almost sold out until the end of the year. Best seats are the stalls. I'm sure it will be extended like The Sound Of Music has been though. Check www.theatremoneky.com for the seating plans for all West End theatres.
6th July, that really soon.
Well I'll probably go sometime later
Just think about Lee having to master the whole show in 4 weeks.
I wish I'd bought tickets when the show started then I wouldn't have to wait until the end of the year to get decent tickets.
I have been thinking too about what i will watch on saturday nights now! i too gave my full attention to the joseph show and loved every minute of it. i never watched the maria one when it was on and now wished i had!
the fact that the x factor is coming soon is no consolation really as there is no comparison between it and joseph!
I read in a magazine article a few months ago before any dream will do was aired. The artical was an interview with ALW and he said that he would love to cast for Jesus Christ Superstar, but he thinks he would have to travel to the USA to find someone to play Jesus as he did not think it would be well recieved here.
On his website a few weeks ago ALW said he was taking a year out to write the sequel to one of his musicals, I think it was Phantom. What is Jesus Christ Superstar about?

Watch a teaser of the video for Lee's Children In Need single.
With the Children In Need single for Any Dream Will Do now on sale, can you help it top the charts?
The single is available as a download and the single is also in the shops.
Every single copy sold will help BBC Children in Need top last year's total of £32 million.
For a flavour of the single you can now watch a 30 second clip of the video on the BBC's YouTube page, here. At the end of the clip you can also watch clips from the final show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYHdiPvayac
You Tube video was not there, they must have pulled it

Any Dream Opens Doors
We catch up with all the Josephs to see how they're doing.
We've had a number of emails asking for an update on how the other Josephs are doing. Here's the news, in their own words.
Keith and Lewis
After coming so close to winning the role of Joseph, both Lewis and Keith are pursuing exciting opportunities at the moment. They wish to thank all of their fans for their support and look forward to performing for them again soon.
Antony
"I have been doing lots of public appearances and school concerts; have also been away surfing and out enjoying the sunshine. Hopefully I will be off to Mountview in the summer - fingers crossed!"
Ben
"Being part of Any Dream Will Do has been such a great and precious experience. It's really given me a path to follow. The journey I've been on has been something I've never dreamt of experiencing in my life. I've worked with some of the best people in the business and it's been something that money can't buy.
"I'm just about to sign with an agent and I've got a lot of auditions going on. It's very busy at the moment. Hopefully I'll get to the West End as that's what I want to do. I'd just like to say a big thank you to all the people involved in the show, at the BBC and everyone at home who's been watching."
Chris B
"Well I've been kept very busy. Got myself a great agent and got lots of exciting things lined up. Hope to be on that West End stage before long. Oh and going to try to go on holiday if I can. Hehe!"
Chris C
"Since I left the show a few weeks ago, firstly I went away on a short break holiday, relaxed and chilled out. Then spent time following up all the leads I had. I'm now working on a project within the music industry, following a career in music. Hopefully will be recording an album in the near future"
Craig
"I have had a nice time back in Scotland with my friends and family. I have some offers of work in the pipeline including a tour and a recording deal. Watch this space! Love Craig x"
Daniel
"Since leaving the show I've been busy meeting agents and casting directors etc. I've signed with a fantastic agent and have been offered a new musical which opens in the West End later this year. There are a few other things in the pipeline including a panto in Guildford."
Johndeep
"Since leaving there are talks of appearing in "Silversteet" for BBC Radio, I have been involved in various concerts and charity gigs including the concert at Great Braxted for Missing Madeleine with the other Josephs. I will also be leading a musical cabaret called "Never Mind The Broadway" which tours London soon. There are other things in the pipeline so watch this space!"
Rob
"Since I left the competition I have taken a role in a professional panto; I'm still looking for the right agent. I'm doing lots of charity gigs involving lots of children, which is really nice."
Seamus
"My band, Mosquito, and I are releasing an EP on iTunes on Monday 11th June and have gigs coming up. I am also speaking with agents and managers about potential roles in TV, film and musicals.
"Significantly though, I think it is important to tell everyone how hard all of us have been working since being on the show: being on TV may open doors, but you quickly learn that it takes talent, courage and passion to walk through them! Huge thank you to my family and my girlfriend, to everyone on the show, all the crew, the panellists and the coaches; but especially to the people at home for all their overwhelming messages of support. Thank you, truly."
anyone managed to get tickets to see joseph? was lee good as joseph?
He got a standing ovation on the opening night which is almost unheard of. This is a video of the end of the show http://www.andrewlloydwebber.com/sec...php?article=95
Apparantly, the seating is really bad in the Adelphi. If you sit in the upper dress circle you can't see very much.
really wish i could go but it will be a long time before i see it!
There are some clips on youtube of the actual show.

While I was looking thru the You Tube videos, I was looking at some of the comments, they said Lewis was going to be Lee's understudy and would replace him while he was on vacation WTH ????
Why didn't they let Keith be the understudy,, from what I read Keith is singing at old folks homes ,, :searchme:
This is very confusing
Craig has the lead part in the touring Joseph. From The Really Useful Group website:
OSEPH IS COMING…
AND IT’S CRAIG!
When producer/director Bill Kenwright brings his renowned production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT to a venue near you audiences will undoubtedly recognize the young man in the leading role…
25 year-old CRAIG CHALMERS was one of the most popular finalists in the recent hit BBC series Any Dream Will Do. Watched by millions every Saturday night, the show was produced to find a leading man for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new West End production, and Craig, chosen from tens of thousands of wannabees, charmed audiences week after week with his vocal talents, finishing in the top five.
Bill Kenwright, one of the most successful and prolific producers in British theatre today, (whose current hit West End shows include the musicals Blood Brothers and Cabaret and acclaimed drama The Letter), was on the expert panel of judges alongside Andrew Lloyd Webber, Denise Van Outen and John Barrowman and is delighted that Craig is taking on the leading role.
Before Joseph, Edinburgh born Craig was a professional vocalist and entertainer. He was part of successful boyband 'No Reason' who enjoyed a top ten hit as well as performing at the Kings Theatre in Edinburgh and Hampden Stadium alongside Blue, McFly, Sugarbabes and Girls Aloud.
If anyone should be an stand-in for Lee then it should be Keith. He was the runner-up. If the public thought that Lewis or anyone else was a better singer than him they would have voted for him.
