I've tried, but not in as many words as I obviously don't want to upset her considering what has happened.
Obviously, but you need to tell her straight or she'll never know and you'll just get more and more annoyed at her. Just quietly say that you don't want to hold her hand. I know how painful it is to have a miscarriage but its a long time ago and you are your own person Kim. I think she'd rather you just told her, than quietly seethed and didn't say anything.
or kim cant you link arms with your mum instead rather than holding her hand as then your not totally pushing her away
also have you spoken to your mum about the miscarriage and how you feel that she treats you like the age they would have been as your mum might not be realising that she is doing it and talking to her could help her aswell
my day was ok today it was my mum's brithday so she had a good day, and didnt really do much work at school either. Its really cold here though and school doesnt seem to believe in heating
I haven't spoken to her about the misscarriage(s) - don't even know exactly how many there were as she doesn't talk about it. I found that out from my mate's mum, but my mum had to tell me about the eptopic as I had to be sent to my uncle's whilst she was in hospital.
I've had a great day! I had my Drama GCSE today and i am so glad i've got it done and dusted now. It went absolutely perfect, and people said it was a really good performance, so hopefully i've got a good grade for it! I was so nervous at the start but i relaxed soon enough and just gave it my all.
Well done Davey its such a relief to get thingsl like that out of the way.
I had the final show last night, its been a long week. Not had much sleep as went to party afterwards. My back is killing me now though. I think i might go for a walk as well to clear my head. Everythings spinning. and im getting a sore throat. I hope i dont lose my voice as thats the worst thing in the world.
well my exchange partner went this week and now i'm just relaxing and trying to work out whether i can send bran flakes through the mail as she didn't have enough space for them! i'm really tired though and i have work to do :(
I tried to get a doctors appointment today for Marley and was told the earliest one they have is the 24 April. I was advised to phone in early on Monday morning and every other morning to see if they had any bookings as that is the way they run the surgery now. I went to the chemist first as I wanted a bottle of Lactuose (is a laxative medicine) as Marley was given a bottle in November as she was suffering from constipation. It cleared up and I still have a little bit in the bottle but it has flared up again this week she has hardly eaten anything, which is unusual as she's normally eaten me out of house and home and she is complianing of a sore tummy. I asked the chemist if she could give me a bottle but she said she couldn't as there may be an underlining problem and it would be better to see a doctor. I went to the surgery and the receptionist said that I could complete a repeat prescription form, which would not be ready until Tuesday although there is no gauarntee that I will get the medicine without seeing a doctor.
I have been so busy!!!!!! Im so gald its the hoildays and now I'll be able to stay up late on here talking to people like I did last time hehe. Okay I know I shouldnt but I have so much planned for the hoildays so it will be only now and then. My coursework at school is pretty much done apart from ICT which is just argh!!!! The schoool computers dont like me and Im going back in school,on thursday to finish it. Our school is seeting up sessions at school for these kind of these.
Anyway on thursday we had inter house dance, every night for 2 weeks we have been working till 9pm on it and I did a duet, small group and large group dance. And me and my firiends being dances and sicne we won last years there was alot of pressure for us to win. Anyway we didnt woin the duet which loads of people said we should but we won the small group. Then yesterday I was in school doing maths and a bit of ICT. I am just so glad its the hoilday even though it is going to be busy.
Lol join the club, Abbie. The computers have lost another part of my business coursework and I only had to repeat a bit of it last week. I spent like 2 hours on the bit that has gone missing.
I have Media and History coursework for the holidays and English Literature work to do. Finished writing my load of rubbish on my Maths homework. That teacher is driving me up the wall.
I've been naughty and eaten half an easter egg today. It was only one of those £1.99 ones, but easter is 2 weekends away.
I never knew trying to get your mate round your house was so much hassle before.
Oh and I am so embarassed cos Im on the FRONT PAGE of a NEWSPAPER in my area, it for when I was foing dance at my schoool, I had to do a straddle jump, and there were other pics but ther chose the one of a the staddle jump, I was so shocked when i saw it.
Its alwoays the embarrasing ones that end up in the paper, i remember i was a tootbrush on the front page years ago when they were advertising a show. Its so embarrasing.
I have a busy week as well, lots of revision and coursework todo plus more time on the internet as mum and my sister are both at catholic schools so they work holy week, so i get the house to my self first week of the holiday.
Lots of coursework corrections o do as welll. Not been on here in ages as i have been permanently in the library trying to meet deadlines.
Just got in from the pub. I was happily watching EastEnders when my Dad rang and said to take one of the dogs up there. When I was nearly there, he rang again, asked where I was, because he wanted his darts brought up. Got in the pub, 10 minutes later he's out of fags and tells me to go and get him some, so I said that the shop wouldn't sell them to me, then he sends me home for them, telling me to get the darts whilst I'm there. I now refuse to do invoicing.
I nearly beat him at darts! I couldn't believe it, I probably haven't spent an hour throwing darts in my life and I was so close. I got treble twenty lol.
Then we went to the chippy and I had to stand outside with the dog freezing, and that's with my Dad's jacket on. They took ages.
I've had a good day, but i did kinda get carried away over my local shopping mall! My dad is gonna hit the roof when he gets his credit card bill...i spent £200 on my prom suit! :o
My mum will kill me next year if I spend even half of that, mostly because my dad would kill her for letting me spend that much. How it could mount up to that though, I don't know.
Hide the bill, pray your dad has the card payed on direct debit, and pray he doesn't check his bank statements! lol
P.S. PB, do you think he got it custom designed with the millets logo on?
It would have been considerably cheaper if he had got his entire outfit from Millets.....waterproofs and fleeses might not be totally appropriate for a prom, but it might have been kinder on daddy's credit card!!!
Aw...bless ya David....at least you can use that suit if you ever have to make an appearance in court!
You'll have to post a pic in your prom gear, Davey, I bet you look very smart. :D
Its not often i have a huge rant about something which has happened, but this really annnoyed me!!
Yesterday, i was doing some work in the spare room, which is at the front of the house. Everywhere was quiet, and suddenly i heard a tiny crack/bang on the wall. So i stopped, and listened. And sure enough, it happened again. I then heard something against the window. So i stood up, and looked out, and saw some little year 9's outside my house. One of the boys got some stones from a neighbours drive, and was throwing them at cars on the other side of my road. He then turned, and started throwing them at mine and my neighbours house.
So i stormed out there and said "Do you mind throwing stones at my windows?!". He looked a bit shocked that i was there, and said "I didn't mean to throw them at your windows, i was aiming for your wall". So i said "Is throwing them at the walls of my house seriously any better than throwing them at my windows!?". And then i basically told them to **** off from my street (In nicer terms, obviously!)
What is with that though?! I wouldn't dream of doing anything like that now, let alone when i was 14 or something!
What immature people. How can you mean to hit a wall and hit windows?! Hit the bricks on the front of the house, maybe. I'm sure they wouldn't like it if it were their heads instead. They could get done for that. Good job you told them to sling it though, it should teach them not to come back.
blimey thats a bit harsh, Its like when people play football on thr road yet theres a park about a metre up the road. I dont get it. I think if there were caught doing that up here theyd get an ASBO. It werent too long ago when a 3 year old was on the pavement in a City strip kicking a ball about and he was given an ASBO for bad behaviour. THat makes me mad. THe poilce give ASBOs out to little kids yet theres 3 shootings on one night and they cant find the killer.
Its a good job you told them Ab, i dont think id have had the botle.
Argh! The flush was wet last night, so I went to flush the toilet and my hand slipped straight off and hit the cistern, hard, and now I have a red mark above one of the bones in my wrist.
For some reason I'm dreading going back to school already, and now I've made myself feel sick.
aww, my mum and sister havent even finished yet. Catholic education for you.
I need a new outfi, its my cousins 21st saturday and i have nothing to wear. Grr.
Me and coursework dont go well together, its official.
the past week has been a blur, i can't believe nearly a week has gone by. i'm exhausted and i'm going to wales tomorrow, which should be fun. just i need to sleep so i'm in a good mood cos this week i've not been the nicest person to be around. i think part of the problem is me and my mum are both geminis!
this morning i went to manchester and we saw the queen, we had to wait for ages but what annoyed me was as soon as she appeared everyone surged forwards and my sister nearly got pushed off this wall outside the cathedral, even though people were saying stop pushing because we're all going to fall through the barriers! now i got to pack and take the cat to the cattery. hopefully i will be able to communicate with my friend aswell as she only reads the last comment left on myspace and none before :( so she didn't get mine. oh well.
Where about you going? :DQuote:
'm exhausted and i'm going to wales tomorrow
And cool that you saw the Queen :D
betws-y-coed. it's in the north and one day we're going to abersoch :D
Neither do me and coursework. I've got storyboarding and analysing tomorrow, I'm having a bit of a party on Saturday, then more analysing on Sunday, then I have to do 2 History essays that are part of my coursework. Joy. I wish we could just have a half term without any work.
Today I am prepping for my job interview at 2.30 - fingers crossed! Its at a nursing home and they have really high care standards there so if I get the job I will really enjoy it.
To all of you that have coursework to do, make sure it gets done, but also make sure you find time to relax and have fun - school is pressured enough these days without kids forgetting how to have fun - My neice asked me for help the other day - I was completely out of my depth - yet to other adults when they say what GCSE's do you have and I say I've got 15 - they think Im an academic - nothing could be further from the truth! I loved my school days, but really dont know if I would enjoy it as much these days.
So keep working hard - it will be worth it in the end!:)
Well yesterday I was busy at school and I finally got ICT working :D So i was very happy with that, then I went to dancing for 5 hours and when I got back I had half an hour to wash and dry my hair and get ready to go out. All of which I did. I then went out and kinda got drunk and im still recovering the only thing is im going to another party tonight.
My TV is near enough broken - I was watching it and it started smelling of burning rubber, and now I have to tidy my room ready for tomorrow. Great, it looks like a bomb's hit it.
Yeah, I turned it off, then it was still smelling for about half an hour afterwards. I don't get it - my parents have a TV older than mine but it's never done that.
I've had a good few days. Last night, i slept over my mates house, i ended up sleeping on the sofa and didn't get hardly any sleep so i am absolutely exhausted tonight and i have really sore eyes from lack of sleep! Today, i went to the cinema and watched 300. I'm not a massive fan of war films, and in fact, don't like them, but i must admit this film was ok, i could tolerate the fight scenes as they had so much action in them!
I'd get rid of it, if i were you. We had a TV that started doing that, and didn't think anything of it. Then a few days later, it went bang, and there was flames and everything coming out of it. Quite funny, but pretty dangerous. Luckily it was in our front room, so there wasn't any clutter around it which could catch alight. If it was in a bedroom, then it might have been different.
Thanks for that - my mate was going to force me to turn it on to watch movies when she comes over, but now I'll refuse. My parents can just put the TV that's sat on the landing in my room, there's might be older, but at least it hasn't done that.
Kimbo, I wouldnt use your TV if I was you.... I know someone who left their dodgy TV on whilst they were out and came back to find the house a blaze!!!
Anyway, thought I'd come on here briefly, its my birthday today!!! :cheer:
Just been out celebrating and I'm going out tomorrow night to celebrate too!!! Well you only have a birthday once a year...unless you are the queen ofcourse...:)
Oh bytheway, I saw that film I want Candy the other day...and if you like a film that has a decent storyline then give it a miss...:thumbsdow Though saying that, it was funny in places...:p
And happy birthday to Abi - whose b'day is today too! I hope the Easter bunny brings you lots of nice presents, and a rather large Easter egg...:D
I have had a really good day been to fantasy island at ingoldmells round the market then on to skegness with my partner we have been together 10 years this month...
Our daughter has gone to scotland for a week on holiday with her nana, grandad and 3 of her cousins....
I persuaded my dad to put the old 32 inch widscreen in my room. My CD player isn't working, either, so I'm playing music through it. Going to be killed when my parents get back... oops.
Well yesterday was quite werid for me cos the night before I was at another party, anyway to cut it short, I drank too much bashed my head off bar on the trampoline and now have a bump on the back of my head :( It really hurts still and that night I dodnt get much sleep at all so yesterday when I got home I went straight to bed and slept for like 5 hours just to feel better.
Well today ive had a good day.
I was on the phone to Adam all night :] (9pm-8am)
My first all nighter.
It was fun :]
I fell asleep for like 20 mins on the phone though then he fell asleep.
Aww he snores <3
I love him so.
I've only just got dressed cos it was boiling in pyjamas and dressing gown.
