Those adverts were mental especially the funeral one with Clarkston setting of explosive everywhere and then he fell out of the crane harness.
Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz will take part in an upcoming episode of Top Gear, it has been revealed.
The Knight and Day actors will be competing in the motoring show's 'star in a reasonably priced car' segment, according to The Sun.
The pair, who apparently contacted the BBC to request an appearance on the programme, are expected to record their laps of the race track in Surrey today.
A source said: "Tom and Cameron are over in Britain for the premiere of their new movie Knight and Day. Tom knew we were filming so asked if he could give the old Kia a whirl.
"We've had some big names tearing around in our reasonably priced car, but Tom has to be up there as the biggest. And the amazing thing is his people contacted us.
"Cameron was up for it too so we're getting two A-list stars for one show. Jeremy Clarkson and the boys couldn't be happier."
The celebrity leaderboard for the 'star in a reasonably priced car' challenge is currently topped by Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint.
The source added: "[Cruise] will need his best driving skills. It's pretty tough to get to the top of the leaderboard."
Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz have both broken the record for the fastest celebrity lap times during their appearance on Top Gear.
The Knight and Day actors took part in the 'star in a reasonably priced car' challenge on the BBC motoring show on Sunday night, which saw each of them drive round a racing track in a small hatchback.
Diaz posted the series's quickest time of 1 minute, 45.2 seconds, which itself was shortly eclipsed by Cruise's time of 1 minute, 44.2 seconds.
They both beat the existing record of 1 minute, 45.5 seconds set by Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint.
Cruise, who drove round the final corner of the track on two wheels as his car tilted sideways, said: "This is the best day. This was like a vacation.
"When I was on two wheels I thought, 'I don't know what's going to happen... If I go through on the side does the time still count?'"
Host Jeremy Clarkson admitted: "That was a breathtaking thing."
Clarkson 'burka joke sparks complaints'
Tuesday, July 27 2010, 09:22 BST
BBCComments made by Jeremy Clarkson on Sunday night's edition of Top Gear about Muslim women have sparked complaints from viewers.
The 50-year-old told co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May that he was distracted by women in burkas when driving because he knows what they wear underneath, reports the Daily Star.
Clarkson claimed that he had once witnessed a woman in a burka fall "head over heels" in front of his taxi and saw her "red G-string and stockings".
Hammon claimed the incident "did not happen" but Clarkson insisted that it had.
"I promise you, it did happen. The taxi driver will back me up," he said.
A Mediawatch spokesperson later criticised the comments.
"He should learn to keep quiet - every time he opens his mouth he upsets someone," they said.
Controversial Muslim preacher Omar Bakri Muhammad reportedly told the paper: "This shows how much hatred he has for Muslims in general, and Muslim women in particular.
"If he speaks about the honour of Muslim women, it requires Muslim people to respond."
He added: "And if he doesn’t apologise he could face Muslim youth attacking him physically."
Meanwhile another viewer complained that Clarkson had gone "too far this time" with his "offensive and disrespectful" joke.
The BBC confirmed that it had received seven complaints.
This is clarkson.. everyone know what he is like.. 7 complaints really!
7 complaints woopey doo. If people don't like Clarkson's comments then they shouldn't watch Top Gear.
Well done to JC for pushing the boundaries yet again. Some people are far too sensitive. I suppose if he had made the same remark about a Roman Catholic Nun there would have been no complaints from the PC Brigade.
PRINCE Harry is set to appear on Top Gear - trying to drive faster than movie star Tom Cruise.
Harry's pal ... Jeremy Clarkson
Pal Jeremy Clarkson is lining him up to be the "Star in a Reasonably Priced Car" in the next series of the BBC2 driving show.
Adrenalin junkie Harry is determined to beat Cruise's lap time in the Kia Cee'd hatchback.
A source said: "The prince is a massive Top Gear fan and is dying to give the Kia a spin.
"He loves driving and ideally he'd like to beat Tom Cruise just for the boasting rights."
Harry also wants to get some Army buddies on the programme.
The source added: "He doesn't want it to be all about him. He wants to raise awareness of the Armed Forces."
They could even demonstrate military equipment if the Ministry of Defence agrees.
That would be so mad having Prince Harry on the show. But isn't John Bishop top of the leaderboard now?
has been cheating on his wife with a work colleague, it has been claimed.
The Top Gear host, who has been married to wife and manager Frances for 18 years, has allegedly been having the affair while on the show's international tour in the likes of Australia, South Africa and Norway.
According to the Sunday Mirror, Clarkson's relationship with the unnamed worker has become common knowledge to many of the crew working on the Top Gear tour.
Last month, the mistress flew to Australia where she joined Clarkson at the Palazzo Versace hotel near Brisbane - known for its use in ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.
On March 6, alongside other crew members, the pair jetted to Hamilton Island - a luxury resort on the edge of the Great Barrier Reef - where they stayed in a £1,000-a-night villa and took a helicopter to a beach. They then returned to Melbourne for the remaining Australian shows.
The couple subsequently travelled to Johannesburg and Clarkson was spotted feeding the woman lettuce at the Hotel Palazzo pool. That night, they reportedly returned to his hotel room separately.
Finally, while staying at Oslo's Grand Hotel last week, the pair apparently enjoyed a drink on the rooftop bar and were seen kissing, before returning to his hotel suite where they spent the night together.
The BBC recently apologised after derogatory comments about Mexicans were made by Clarkson and fellow Top Gear hosts Richard Hammond and James May.

Well I checked if it was an April foolsday news thing. It sounded so over the top. But no it is a genuine article. Well Bad Boy Jezza. Hope you're not paying for it with your licence fees.
Jeremy Clarkson has been accused of having an affair with a blonde colleague while on tour with his Top Gear show.
The BBC presenter, 50, yesterday reacted to the allegations in typically brash style on holiday in Barbados with his wife Frances, 49, and their three children.
Spending the day on a speedboat and racing around on a jet-ski wearing loud Bermuda shorts, he seemed not to have a care in the world.

Display of unity: Clarkson and his wife Frances spent the day on a boat in Barbados while he also spent time racing around on a jet-ski
The ‘other woman’ was yesterday identified by one newspaper as single mother Phillipa Sage, 42, who has been working alongside Clarkson as part of the lucrative international Top Gear Live tour.
Miss Sage said reports of a romance were ‘nonsense’, insisting: ‘Jeremy and I are friends. I have worked with him, er, them (the Top Gear team) for years.’
When told she had been seen entering Clarkson’s hotel suite in the early hours, unmarried Miss Sage, who has a five-year-old son, said: ‘What? I often stay in colleagues’ hotel rooms – that’s not unusual.
‘I have been pictured with Jeremy several times, dozens of times, while working on the show. We are just friends.’

Rubbishes claims: Jeremy Clarkson has laughed off accusations that he has been having an affair with Phillipa Sage. Pictured while on the Top Gear Tour
Clarkson’s mother Shirley also angrily dismissed the allegations, insisting: ‘It’s a load of rubbish. He’s right now on holiday with his wife and children, happy as Larry. He sent me a text on Mother’s Day saying, “I hear the Press think I’m Tiger Woods – don’t worry, I’m not!”.’
Under the headline ‘Clarkson’s Mistress’, the Daily Mirror claimed Miss Sage had spent several nights with Clarkson as he and his co-presenters, Richard Hammond and James May, toured Australia, South Africa and Norway.
Last month the party checked into Oslo’s £500-a-night Grand Hotel. After the Top Gear show, Clarkson and Miss Sage – who shared a chauffeur-driven car to the venue – were alleged to have gone to his corner suite at 1.15am.

Married: Jeremy was seen with wife of 18 years Frances as they left Scotts restaurant last month before he headed to Oslo on Top Gear tour
The next evening Hammond and May sat at the other end of the hotel’s rooftop bar from Clarkson and Miss Sage, who reportedly sat together under separate blankets drinking white wine.
Shortly after 1am, he said goodnight and, it was claimed, ‘kissed Phillipa on the lips in full view of the group and public’. Moments after Clarkson left, she was said to have slipped out of the bar and walked with him to his suite, remaining there all night.
On the final show of the tour, on March 27, the newspaper claimed the couple again spent the night together before flying back to the UK, where Clarkson was reunited with his wife, also his manager, and their children, aged 16, 15 and 12.

On holiday: Jeremy and Frances are currently on holiday in the Caribbean and enjoyed a 'lovely lunch' with their children for Mother's Day
Clarkson has been married to Frances for 18 years and she has masterminded the TV star’s multi-million-pound career.
The newspaper claimed his affair had also been going on in Australia and South Africa earlier last month.
The couple were photographed by the pool at a Johannesburg hotel, where it was claimed Clarkson was seen ‘feeding Phillipa lettuce with his fingers’. It was claimed he went to his room alone but was later followed by her.

SHAMELESS Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson’s affair with Phillipa Sage has been going on for more than a year, the Sunday Mirror can reveal.
Father-of-three Clarkson’s betrayal of loyal wife Frances with his colleague was already in full swing 14 months ago.
Clarkson, 50, and Phillipa were seen cavorting on the balcony of her hotel room in Auckland, New Zealand, in February last year.
Onlookers were astonished to see them appearing to flaunt their romance with apparent disregard for who might see them.
Then, two weeks after Clarkson and Phillipa checked out of the five-star hotel where they stayed on the BBC’s Top Gear Live tour, Clarkson even wrote about his 42-year-old lover in a newspaper motoring column.
Clarkson – whose nickname for tall Phillipa is Little Horse because of her height – gushed to readers about her good looks under the headline: “Lie back, leggy Phillipa, while I have some fun.”
Writing about being chauffeured in a Maserati sports car, Clarkson said: “There was space behind Nigel (our driver) for our green room director Phillipa, who’s so tall she’s actually measured in hands.”
Then Clarkson bragged how he and single mum Phillipa were drunk as they were driven around.
Meanwhile, devoted wife Frances – who is also Clarkson’s manager and mentor – was 11,000 miles away at their manor home in the Cotswolds.
Last week, we revealed Clarkson was cheating on Frances, 49, while overseas on this year’s lucrative Top Gear Live tour, from which she gets a cut of the profits.
Now it has emerged his romance with Phillipa was going on during last year’s tour as well – when the pair spent five nights at Auckland’s Westin Hotel from February 17.
One witness said the lovers appeared to be “totally wrapped up in each other”.
Clarkson, who has publicly condemned other men for cheating on their wives, is now in Barbados on holiday with Frances at a £2,000-a-night resort, where he has appeared distracted and ill at ease.
It is unclear how Frances, who’s nurtured Clarkson’s transformation from unknown motoring writer to celebrity, will react to finding the affair has been going on so long.
Phillipa, who claims she and Clarkson are just good friends, has been left to kick her heels at her modest terrace home in Woolmer Green, Herts.
Known as Pip, she once worked as a beautician at exclusive Hanbury Manor Hotel and Country Club in Herts.
She also worked as a masseuse for footballers from Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers, including former England striker Les Ferdinand.
A friend said last week: “She met Les through the football connection and a lot of players went to Hanbury Manor to play golf. Gary Lineker used to go there too and Pip talked about how nice he was.
“She wasn’t common like a WAG, she was nicely spoken and very attractive. She comes from a good background and her family were well off. Away from work she liked to socialise and loved fast cars.”
As we today reveal full details of the affair, we can disclose Phillipa, who has a five-year-old son by entrepreneur Edward Taylor, is a familiar figure on the Top Gear set.
She was warmly greeted by Clarkson’s co-presenter James May when she joined up with the tour this year in Australia.
May was having breakfast but excitedly jumped up from his seat to hug her when she arrived at the luxury Palazzo Versace hotel near Brisbane.
She was then embraced by a senior colleague at Brand Events, the company which masterminds the Top Gear tour with the BBC.
Referring to Clarkson, the colleague told Phillipa: “He’s still in bed. Go and wake him up.”
Half an hour later, she, Clarkson and May walked to a waiting helicopter and flew to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre for a Top Gear Live show.
As we revealed last Sunday, Phillipa and Clarkson flew on with the tour from Australia to South Africa, where she was seen going to his hotel room after he had retired for the night. And, again unconcerned by who might see him, Clarkson fed her lettuce from her plate as they lounged by the hotel pool.
Two weeks ago, Clarkson and Phillipa were in Oslo, Norway, on the tour – where their relationship was so open that fan Pernille Olufsson assumed Phillipa was Clarkson’s wife as the pair stood having their picture taken. Pernille, 25, said: “I’m a big fan of the series and recognised Jeremy as soon as I spotted him.
“He and his lover were hugging and kissing and had their arms wrapped around one another.
“They had been drinking in the bar from about 8pm and looked quite coupley. Their arms were nearly always touching or linked, and they were giggling a lot. If it wasn’t for his age, I’d have thought they were newlyweds.”
Clarkson and Phillipa spent the night together three times in his luxurious third-floor suite at the Grand Hotel, before flying back to London.
Asked about the affair, Phillipa said last Sunday: “That’s nonsense, Jeremy and I are just friends. I have worked with him, er, them, for years.”
When told she had been seen entering Clarkson’s hotel suite in the early hours, she replied: “I often stay in colleagues’ hotel rooms, that’s not unusual. I’ve been pictured with Jeremy dozens of times while working on the show.”
At the time, she appeared unaware that, far from denying the affair, Clarkson was wisecracking to pals: “I’m surprised to find I’m the new Tiger Woods.”
It is not clear whether betrayed Frances is sharing the joke.

Top Gear is to return to television screens on Sunday June 26.
The programme, which will air at 8pm on BBC Two and BBC HD, promises "affordable performance cars" and "some actual racing".
James May explained on the Top Gear site: "Well, there's some affordable performance cars, some electric cars, some actual racing, some proper demolition, some silly cars, and Top Gear's attempt to improve public transport, which I think is going to be absolutely brilliant."
May also revealed his excitement at a Formula 1 challenge due to appear on the new series.
"Did you see some of the clips on the Formula 1 last Sunday of us in the hot hatches going round the Monaco Grand Prix Circuit? That's part of the new series, and that was great, very intimidating," he declared.
"I'm not very good at driving around tracks anyway, and if you get it wrong there you have a crash. I used to watch F1 a lot years ago and it felt really special for us to be allowed to go round it. That will be a good film."
Top Gear came under fire last series for comments made on the show about cyclists and Mexicans.
They so have to have been in Monaco to talk to one of the F1 drivers to appear on the show. fingers crossed for Seb xxxx
I am looking forward to seeing them trying to improve publice transport, why do I get the feeling that it's going to involve a race track and some pianos :rotfl:

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that he would quit Top Gear if the BBC moves its production from London to Manchester.
The BBC is currently moving key departments to its new base in MediaCity, Salford, and is committed to ensuring that at least 50% of its output is produced outside London by 2016.
There are currently no plans to move Top Gear to BBC North, but Clarkson has said that he would be against any future moves to do so.
The presenter described Salford as a "small suburb with little to offer beyond a Starbucks and a canal with ducks on it" in his Sunday Times column.
He added: "[Salford] is nowhere near any court that matters and nowhere near a single politician.
"Furthermore, if we ran the show from Salford, we'd be employing people from Salford. People who were born there and thought, 'Yes, I like this. I see no reason to go anywhere else'.
"And in the world of television, that could be a genuine handicap. Every year we'd end up making a Christmas special from the Dog and Duck or the nearest Arndale Centre."
BBC bosses last month denied reports that EastEnders would also be moving to MediaCity.
Comedian Jo Brand recently described Jeremy Clarkson as a "casual racist".
Did the BBC F1 make a mistake when filming at the top gear studio - take a look at the guy in the back.. is he holding the STIG helmet?? is he the new STiG??

Clarkson is a prat! Im very proud of greater manchester and i think Saford has a lot to offer! People living in London need to realise there is a hell of a lot more to this country than London!
Yeah i rewatched it on youtube cause like yourself, it was so quick that I had to double check.. and if you watch the video further on, you can see the STIG standing with others and he is about same height as the guy in the background here... maybe 2 different guys but would love to know if anyone knows who he is
i had to watch Top Gear again last night on bbc3 just to see Seb again.
