i remember goin mental at the driver who ran me down a few years ago, the people who stopped were like you probebly have concussion as agression is a sign of concussion and my mates who were on the park at the time were like no, its just kat, shes always agressive! hope he was ok and got himself checked out.

I am not impressed with my laptop it got fixed and now it has a virus so if anyone knows how to get rid of the XP guardian virus that poses as windows security centre any help will be greastly appreciated! this would also explain my lack of activity, meant to be writing my essay in the library, but thought id make use of the internet instead.
Got a bit of a cold so just a bit of work rest and tv this weekend i think. should be good though and not forgetting the rugby at the weekend, the six nations is my favourite bit about february.,
Well done on your results abbie, im getting mine next week! Im feeling slightly sick just thinking about it.

Hope your laptop is fxed soon Katy. My pc is still in the hands of the techy guys at work. A month it has been in intesive care. Having to use Marley's laptop but some of the keys have come loose on the keyboard and the panel which secures the battery has come loose again. Only fixed last month,. I don't want to take it back at the moment until my PC is up and running. Apart from that I was at a very emotional school assembly this morning. The assembly was for Marley's ex-teacher who died in December from Cancer. After the assembly they set of balloons in the playground in Mr Fyfe's memory. /some good news on Genius child number 1. She sat an english test before Christmas, which she past. Then a maths one this week. If she passes this one she will be at the academic level of an S2 in Scotland. Year 9 South of the border. She is two years ahead of what is expected of her.
Good news about Marley, Kath, I am sure that it is down to you that she is that far advanced. Well done to both of you :cheer: Hope you get your pc/laptop sorted soon :)

i think i fixed it! fingers crossed. Its running smoothly at the moment. I still have a couple of sticky keys especially o, you have to ress it really hard. Considering i usually struggle turning the thing on, i really didnt think id be able to get rid of it myself!
feeling slightly better think the early nght did me good. Got to run to t own in a bit an try and make the bank.

Friday was nice, the bf surprised me to a meal for v day! Was not expecting it at all ha, he covered it well :p
He also got me a red rose and a teddy bear :) mm.
Then we stayed at my mates last night, was a good night. We drank loads, but wasn't amazingly drunk. Think maybe we just didn't realise how drunk we were ha.
Looking forward to doing nothing this week and just sleeping a lot :p Lazy or what ha.

I've had a busy weekend :)
My car is back on the road!!! Finally.. so I'm taking great advantage of that right now
Work is going well, I'm feeling more relaxed now :)
Thursday I had work and then went to curry night at Spoons with my friend, we also ended up in Bowplex playing pool and was slightly tipsy.
Friday my car went back on the road :) friday night I went to Spoons with my school friends as they were hom from Uni... apparently, I was legless, I really don't remember alot.
Then yesterday I had work :) and then went for food with my friend Stacey to China China. It was so weird going there.. just reminded me of Mr.Jones, and it's where I had my interview, and one of the staff who helped us with management for a few days was working there... but he actually recognised me! Which was nice :) so we were given our drinks for free. He also asked me to give them a hand because they were so busy! Haha... my answer was "haha, no.. I applied here and no-one rang me back"... their loss :)
We left there and decided on going to the pub (I drove... couldn't take anymore drink) and I had a phonecall off an old work friend to say she was in Bowlplex and asked if we were out to pop in so we could have a catch up, she then said "just to warn you... Adam is here". I decided that I had to get changed and dolled up a bit more just to show him what he was missing... we got there and he had gone!! Darn it. Nevermind. Haha. We still had a good night! all in all a very good weekend
I've got a really bad headache and I'm burning up slightly.. I also keep seeing things out of the corner of my eye, but there's nothing there.. I'm getting freaked out haha. Sorry for the essay, had alot to fill in ahah :)

Hmmm, well it's day 3 and the headache still hasn't cleared. I've taken paracetomol but only helps for a bit and then it comes back. I thought that sleep would help get rid of it, but it's really not and within 5 minutes of waking up it comes back again, I keep getting a sharp shooting pain over my right eye too. My head feels really heavy and I keep feeling dizzy. Hm, I'll just keep drugging myself up on paracetomol haha
Pancake dayy!!! :D I'm making the most of today by scoffing my face with pancakes because tomorrow is lent and I'm determined to give up crisps and chocolate... this should be fun haha
Make sure you get enough water, Kirstey, dehydration can cause a headache, so drink up :) Hope that the headache goes away soon. Enjoy your pancakes, I am thinking of having some too, blow the carbs haha :p
Do you wear glasses Kirstey. Maybe your needing an eyetest. If not I don't want to embarrass you but Marley get's headaches if she's not regular enough. hope your well soon. Drink more water. I had to take a half day off work. boiler on blink again fixed nw though.
All of a sudden I have this huge pain in my back. When I move or lift something (even something as small as a cup) lol. Thinking maybe I have pulled a muscle. Though it occured while watching Holby City.. so sitting down is dangerous :eek:.
I was thinking the same as Lea, maybe you need an eyetest, i used to get headaches alot when my eyes had changed and was straining them t see things.
That sounds painful, does sound like pulling a muscle, hope its better soon.
Im going to start on my mountain of work today, and maybe tidy up, i keep getting distracted with the soaps!
What a joke CD WOW is .. I ordered books in January.. 10 days time, no sign of them (even when they said it was dispatched).. wrote to them asking what happened and they send a mail back saying they have faith in the delivery service and if I haven't got them in 21 days then contact them again.. This morning got mail from them.. was happy, until I read it.. they said the books were returned to them and can I contact them to give the reason for the return.. I NEVER got them.. how can you return something you didn't get.. what a joke!! I am really mad at them.. this is the 3rd time I used them and this is the 3rd time they messed up.. I should have known after the 1st time where is took 6 months to get a DVD..
I haven't long had an eyetest and I have my glasses which I wear, but maybe I should wear them a bit more even though the optician said it wasn't crucial that I wear them, but would help. I'm also regular so I don't think it's that either. Day 4, I think this headache loves me lol.
Maybe you should go back to the optitian and just check that the glasses are indeed still suitable for your needs, i.e. did you mention that you are using a computer/laptop a lot? I am sure you did though :)

Hope your headache finally goes away now, Kirsty. I think viruses can cause headaches sometimes, because both myself and my mum suffered a continuous headache for a few days a while back. Hopefully, that's what yours is. Just remember to drink plenty of fluids, because as someone said above, dehydration can cause headaches too.
Hope the stuff works Kirsty, must be awful having headache that long.

Just come back from the cinema from seeing 'Celine: Through The Eyes Of The World' - absolutely fabbbbbbbulous. MAde me even more excited for Vegas next year. Roll on payday then we can buy tickets! haa. In a proper singy mood right now but seen as it's bed time i think it'll have to wait till tomorrow lmao. I'll have a rave whilst doing my Hannah Waterman dvd (: speaking of which, does anyone on here have any reviews of the workout? ie have you tried it and does it really work? ive only done it twice this week so obviously nothing i'm gonna see changing so quickly! Thanks guys, you've all been really supportive. I know all I've done is continuously moan but I'm just beginning to panic a little bit :/ but it's probably nothing and hopefully these tablets will help relieve te pain though I'm having no luck so far... but these things do take time :)
I was asked if I wanted to do a shift at the Brantano store in Cardiff tomorrow, just to help them out with cleaning and that, I said yes.. I need any hours I can get and will be getting a whole 8 hours more pay :) Also, it would be good experience for me to see how the stores operate and will alos show my loyalty to our store so they know if they need cover at anytime then I am available and wiling :)...hopefully.
Oo that's good :D I love getting extra hours at work (even though i've only had the job three weeks lmao) but that's even better at a different store cos like you said they'll probably call you p if they need you again :D im so jealous you work in a shoe store btw!
I've decided to come home for a while. I'm too ill to look after myself and I've had enough of the stress. Hopefully a week or so at home will be enough to get back to normal. I've got plenty of DVDs and books and I've just seen an advert for season 2 of The Mentalist :D Its going to be a lazy few days.

I've got the cold :( Yesterday there was a fault with the heating at work and the place was baltic. Last night I started sniffing and feeling rabbit. Went to work today but just felt rubbish. My nose is running, my eyes are watering and I've headache. On the plus side I've ruined any chance of promotion at work due to heckling the Principal. This week there has been a couple of staff developement days at work due to the mid term holidays for students. There has been a number of presentations given by the principal and the board of management on the future of funding in FE, which was mandatory to attend. Any way after the presentation it was asked if anyone had any any questions and yours truley put her hands up about four times asking questions I don't think the board wanted to answer. Watch this space I'll let you know when I get my P45
Things are really good for me at the moment, me and this guy sort of have a thing going on, I dont really know what to call it, but its going well :D :p

I had been at hom e all weekend, it was really nice, went to the cinema and saw valentines day which was really good, and spent time with my friends and family. So it was all good. ALs the death anniversary of my granny last friday s we went and met some family at the cemetary and had a meal. So that was nice, cant believe it has been 10 years though.
Back at uni today and everyones talking about a parent who sent a letter into the Times newspaper complaining about one of our lectures who happens to be chinese, yes the guy has a strong accent but s do many of us and i feel that going t the paper telling the entire country about the problem is not the right way to go about somthing. There are procedures for these things put in place for a reason and my worry is if people read this is it going to effect my chances of getting a job. Maybe thats just me being paranoid!!!
ANyway, Rant over!!!
