It's hard to believe that 9 years have passed this terrible tragedy.
It is amazing how 9 years and it can be forgotten.. My son saw a bit on the news and his reaction was "OMG, that was Awesome!!" to him is was like some action movie with baddies crashing and the good people win in the end.. I don't think he realise how real it all was and for some people who did see this live on the tv as it happen were probably thinking the same thing.. that it was a big hollywood stunt until it emerged that it was 100% real...Quote:

It happened the day before Marley's 3rd birthday so Marley's birthday was over shadowed. Marley hates watching news stories about it even now.

10 years later.. was watching some old documentaries and came across the miracle of stairwell B where the firefighter survived as they were helping Josephine Harris down the stairs.. they believed if they didn't stop they would all be dead now... Just found a report from January

I watched the memorials last week and felt like it was only yesterday, that I sat weeping watching the news. 10 years on doesn't heal the pain or dull the memories.
Still get very upset when I think of that day 24 years later today...:crying: May all the victims RIP
