It was reported last month, that Beckett and his on-screen brother, Jake Maskall (Danny Moon), had been sensationally axed after only three months on our screens.

An EastEnders insider also revealed: "The door is still open for Danny's return too!"

Jake Moon (Joel Beckett) will leave Walford briefly in July, but will be back soon after. He'll return to the Square in the autumn to play a central role in the season's blistering storylines.
