I loved the final scene with Roy and Carla, but seriously, could she not have disposed of his coat further away from the factory? I know she didn't expect Roy to go rooting through the skip but there's plenty of other ways she could have kept it a secret, maybe getting his coat dry cleaned after pretending she had spilled something on it? And why did Seb see Carla putting stuff into her car when she was only bringing Roy's stuff to the Underworld skip?
Having said that, it marks the start of a new, more difficult phase in their friendship and I think they will both be able to carry it off.
If I was Carla I would be tempted to do one of two things.
1. Stuff Roys head down the bog and flush it.
2. Totally deny all involvement, officer Roy had access to my factory to delete the CCTV and dump the clothing and he hates the Barlows as Tracy claimed Amy was his his and blackmailed him and Hailey.
Smug Barlow and his loving that women are fighting over him is sickening, he dosent care about Simon just having the power.
Two things....
1. Why on earth would a letter for Amy from the hospital be sent to the cab office???
2. Gary told Carla he couldn't give her a proper quote for the roof as he is not a roofer. Five minutes later he was going to do the £60,000 job.

If Carla is supposed to be this great businesswoman why didn't she get another quote (or several) from a different builder? She just went for the quote that Gary gave her.

I actually felt a little bit sorry for Carla at the end of Monday's episode. She obviously needed to talk to Roy about her terrible day and he showed even less emotion than usual, just turned his sound effects LP on again (as a side note, I can understand that he would still have a record player but since when did they have remote controls?). Ironically, I think Roy might have talked her into getting the roof fixed properly...

I did like that the other night someone rubbed Sally's nose in it about judging people especially after what happened to her. I do admit that I've lost all sympathy for her, she always is such an utter snob.

Now, I'm no prude....but I've noticed the words "Fart" and "A R S E" being used on Coronation Street of recent.
Not exactly 'class A' swearwords, I know, but it seems to be setting some sort of lazy precedent, given that (despite it's many adult themes) the show (in it's timeslot) is still considered a family show (and probably watched by a huge ammount of young children?)
Mikey North (Gary Windass) must be getting good money to have his hair like that.
I love David calling his mother Gail, Jack is an excellent actor, plays David so well and was wasted in the dark Shona and Clayton storyline, he was the only saving grace of it for me
