No, it carries on from the day that James died, the funeral isn't for another few weeks.

is ross jealous adam was there when james died and he wasn't and also his last words with james were anger as they fought over moira
I seen a preview article earlier from the Metro and it says that James' death will open up some massive storylines for the family he left behind.
Probably first time we have heard him say that, but I bet he bottles it up with his family. I hope they go down the route of him taking it bad, will be good to see how he really felt about his dad and coping with the guilt
Yea that could well be it and seeing as Adam never treated him like a dad and he was there in his last moments Ross will take it out on him and Moira
Ross will probably blame Moira for splitting up his family when he was younger. Its tragic really, he never felt close to his dad so he waited for his mum to come back and now she has taken his dad away from him. Ross will just feel massive guilt that he never bonded with James or told him that he loved him. I can see him taking the anger out on Dan and really battering him when they have the fight.

Emmerdale star Michael Parr has climbed Mount Everest: 'Yes, I cried'
He's fundraising for the Steve Prescott foundation.
Emmerdale's Michael Parr has reached a peak both metaphorically and literally with a gruelling Mount Everest climb.
And even better? It was all for a good cause.
The actor, who was recently snubbed for an Inside Soap Award for his portrayal as bad-boy Ross Barton in the ITV soap, completed the climb with 40 other brave souls to help raise money for the Steve Prescott foundation.
And following the climb, he took to Instagram this afternoon (October 24) to highlight the achievement.
41 people set off to make it to Everest base camp and 41 people made it. I'm not gonna lie this was the hardest thing I've ever done. Yes I cried and yes I thought I was gonna quit on multiple occasions. I was no hero on this trip but I had 40 other absolute hero's helping me up. We've raised nearly 200k and all that money...every single penny will go to helping lives or saving lives. We've suffered for nearly 14 days but all that suffering is nothing compared to what the people who we're doing this for is/are going through. You can help people by texting OKOK99 £5 to 70070 Remember....look after the pennies and the pennies will look after the patients

Michael was joined by a host of rugby league legends, including Lee Briers and Barrie McDermott, who were completing the climb as part of the charity's Spectrum Everest Base Camp Challenge 2016.
The party arrived in Kathmandu and from there faced a gruelling 11-day trek to Nepal Everest Base Camp, before continuing on to Kala Patthar to reach a finishing height of 5,645 metres above sea level.
Sounds like hard work to us, lads. We definitely think a brew and a catch up with all your favourite soaps is in order when you get home.
Apart from you, Parr. It's back to the Dales, we're afraid.

Emmerdale spoilers: Dan Spencer attacks Ross Barton – and Kerry Wyatt kisses Sam Dingle!
It could finally be the last straw for Dan Spencer in Emmerdale as he discovers that Ross Barton was the man that Kerry Wyatt slept with and fell pregnant by recently.

As she gets more and more drunk, she accidentally kisses Sam on the lips, leaving him convinced that they are now a couple. Megan is stunned when she finds out and is left furious at Kerry for leading Sam on.
Meanwhile, another showdown explodes between Dan and Ross and as Dan hits Ross, Ross responds by knocking him out cold, leaving him more humiliated than ever. The final straw comes as Megan reveals what happened between Kerry and Sam, leaving Dan to storm away from her.

who has moses now, ross out on mission to find out what happened to james and emma covering her tracks playing caring upset widow
Ross is like a dog with bone, wanting to find out what happened to his dad, guilt of their argument and not being there when he died, Emma should not underestimate him
People will believe her aswell, Pete knows that Ross was arguing with James the day he feel so he could link that. Also he has been quick to try and blame someone like Emma has, and he went awol at the time. If he cant find the girl he was with then he has no alibi.

I reckon that he will get arrested for it, he will be offscreen for a couple of weeks and then he will ask Finn to try and get the truth out of Emma.
Emma wants Moses for herself too
I've just been reading next weeks TV mag and it has a Ross spoiler in for the week after....
"Ross and Adam go to war as Ross takes steps to wind Adam up deliberately. Victoria gets caught in the crossfire and makes a startling discovery".
We know that someone gets arrested for attempted murder that week when the past catches up with them. So will Victoria find out that Ross shot Robert and grass him up? Or does she take a knock and find out that she's pregnant? I hope its not the latter, its so predictable.

does anyone like aaron or adam or finn know that victoria and ross hooked up before
I knew it. She will be caught in crossfire and find out she's pregnant. They have to balance it out for the Barton's somehow.
Not sure who will get arrested though, can't be Ross aswell although nothing would surprise me
Well, I didn't see that coming!
I'm not happy that Ross and Charity slept together (again!) - I don't like them as a couple.
However, I am very happy that Ross owned her at the end! Finally, Ross is getting his balls back! lol
