Awww I remember having my ears pierced
 But I woulnt let you near me with a staple gun :p
That's how much Claire accessories charged me. I could have run her ear under the cold tap and stuck a needle in to save me cash. That's how I got mines done.
A boy in my class did his last week...just whacked a needle through the old ear, and its very red and ballooned up to three times the size!!! It looks horrific, and is probably now infected. hasnt put him off his DIY and is planning on making holes in his nose and higher up the ear this weeK!!! He will be like Van Gough by the time he returns to school!!! And I dont mean he will have turned into an outstanding artist!!!
A girl in my year at high school 3rd year (Year 10) had a big sister who was doing a training scheme in a hair-dressers and she borrowed the gun to pearce he mates ears. My mate stole it from her sisters bag and word got round that if you wanted your ears pearced just bring in a pair of studs. She must have done about 40 pearcings during lunch-break. I had no infections or anything with my ears.
I got mine done for £20 at a piercing and tattoo studio near us and they provided me with what they said was white gold earrings but it turned out it wasn't and the piercing never healed.. 2 years on!
So then I went and bought some gorgeous white gold earrings from another jewellers about 4 months ago (about 4 stores away from the piercing studio) and believe it or not they were cheaper than the piercing studio and my piercing healed within 3 days!
I have done nothing all day :( Well done a lot of holiday planning :p
Miserable day in as much as I had to give my foster dog back to its owners, which is fair enough, but I do miss him after having looked after him only for e4 days. Good day workwise by getting somebody a good pay rise and backpay for a job she did for a long time but for which she was not paid for. Three more days and I will fly to Spain for my hols.
Awww Pedita
By the way hows the weather in Germany?
Haha, that reminds me of Gretchin from Mean Girls.Quote:

I went over to edinburgh on a mission to get white dolly shoes for a dress i'm wearing to a party next saturday but instead i came away with red wedges  , a ring and a bracelet :Dx
Alright day. Went over my Mums on the trampoline with my brother then came home and went out with friends for like an hour because it was too cold so everyone went in :(

Just got my results from college, got triple grade of Merit/Merit/Pass :cheer::cheer::cheer: rather happy with that, oh and i got distinction for one of my units :cheer:
Well done, congratulations. You must be really proud, quite deservedly. :cheer:
I went out last night to my friend's barbecue - that was nice. We played football in the garden just as a mess about and I ended up getting hit in the face loads of times lol...then later, we all went to Tesco - pigged out on cookies. :D ..then came back and watched the Inbetweeners.
This morning though, my mood has kinda gone downhill. I had a shower and I've noticed a lump on my private area (sorry for the detail).. I've tried squeezing it but it doesn't work. It's red and it stands out a bit.. I don't know if I'm being hysterical or paranoid, but I haven't stopped looking at it since..
Oh, congratulations Vicky! :cheer: Brilliant results!
Well done Vicky :D :cheer:
Well it's an absolutely gorgeous day and I have no idea where any of my friends are :( I need tog et out in this sunshineee :D
So in the mean time.. I'm watching Cloverfield, it's really good. Quite creepy though. It's like War of the World meets Dawn of the Dead lol but I like it :)
Hopefully I can get out in a bit.. I'm making the most of this summer!
Camping on Saturday though to Pembroke for a week so I have something to look forward too :D
Oohh no Davey :( Best get it looked at by a Doctor as soon as you can, they'll know what it is and can put your mind at rest about it :)
http://www.tiscali.co.uk/lifestyle/h...ve/000595.html might give you more information but all symptoms state you need to see a doctor to get a diagnose.
Thank you very much for the link - it was really helpful. I might phone for an appointment now maybe.. I just don't want no one else knowing and I don't want to look like a fool if I turn up at the hospital, I get checked out and the lump is nothing or is just normal.
Better to go and get it checked out Dave. Let us know how you get on.
You will never ever look like a fool if you seek a medical opinion and find that it is nothing to worry about, at least your mind is set at rest. If there is something wrong , then it is always best to get treatment as soon as possible before it becomes a big problem. I have got a mole on my thigh which seemed to appear over night. Got it checked because of the skin cancer scare these days and was told it is a left-over mark from an insect bite. I did not feel foolish for having it checked, that is what the medical profession is there for. You go and make the appointment as soon as you can, Dave and then let us know how you got on, if you like.
Well done on the results Vicky!
Definitely go to the doctor, Dave. My friends Mum once had a mole that she thought was nothing and only went to the Doctor because it started to bleed. It turned out it was cancerous and they operated and it's fine now. It could have been so much worse if she didn't go to the doctor when she did. Fingers crossed it's nothing to worry about.
I've got white paint on the side of my hand because I came up the stairs while my mum was painting them and accidentally touched it. I don't fancy washing my hands in white spirit so I'll just have to wait until it wears off. Must clean out my wardrobe later...
Well done Vicky, i though i hadnt noticed you posting as much. hope to see you a bit more now the work is done.
Thanks for the link before Perdita, very helpful.
glad to see you back and well done again.
I'm trying to plan my life basically. I need to start thinking about what i want to do after uni, as its going to come quick. I think by the grades i were getting about 50 - 60% (2.2) standard i cant do anything in the law as i aint that clever and i wasnt really that interested in being a solicitor i am interested in the law to study for 3 years not the rest of my life. I am trying to see whats out there. I have taken quite a fancy to marketing or that sort of area. Still two years a lot of time, we'll figure it out.
