X Factor hopeful Wagner Carrilho has been accused of allegedly 'carrying out a drugs deal' just outside the TV studio where the competition is held.
The Mirror reports that Carrilho obtained a 'family and friends pass' to allow his drug dealer access to the studio.
The paper also claims that the Brazilian singer has been receiving 'a constant supply' of cannabis throughout the show's run.
When asked about his drug use, Carrilho said: "A lot of musical geniuses like Bob Marley and Paul McCartney smoked cannabis."
Carrilho allegedly uses the drivers provided for him by the show's management to take him to his drug dealer's house to purchase 'mind-bending skunk', an especially strong strain of cannabis.
The unnamed drug dealer involved spoke to The Mirror, saying: "He asked me if I could get him any [cannabis]. He said he was getting really stressed out by the show and cannabis helped him relax.
"He also said it gave him extra creativity when he performed. He even said he liked to have a spliff when he went on his morning jog."
He told the paper that he supplied Carrilho with drugs on five separate occasions.
An X Factor spokesman released a statement on the matter, saying: "We take allegations of drug-taking extremely seriously, and we will be speaking to Wagner."

Rock Week returned for a second successive year on The X Factor for the show's seventh live show. Only seven contestants were left to impress the panel, consisting of Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole. Read on to see what the judges said about the acts:
Wagner Carrilho - 'Creep'
Dannii: "Wagner, I have to say that was the best you have sung in the whole competition, and I think it’s because you connected with the lyrics, that's when all the contestants perform their best."
Cheryl: "I completely agree with Dannii, that was your best performance."
Simon: "Wagner, to be fair to you, that was very good."
Louis: "If Thom Yorke was watching, he’d have liked that. Your best
performance yet, very believable, it was great, it was original."
One Direction - 'Summer of '69'
Louis: "Hey boys, loved the choice of song, the vitality you bring, the competition would not be the same without you, you’ve gelled as friends and I think you're going to be the next big boyband."
Dannii: "You've clearly done lots of work and really stepped it up, I like that."
Cheryl: "We've got feet stamps going on, electricity in the room, you're growing better and better, a big future for you, congratulations."
Simon: "I had nothing to do with this song choice, Harry chose the song, great choice… next week is semi-finals, you've worked your butts off and you've got to be there next week."
Mary Byrne - 'All I Want Is You'
Dannii: "It has happened again, they (the audience) are loving you, you're back, you rocked it out, so much emotion, I loved the performance."
Cheryl: "That's the thing I absolutely love about you, you do genuinely connect with everything you sing, we can feel it, it's amazing."
Simon: "Louis, this is what happens when you choose the right song. This is much better than before."
Louis: "You sing your heart out every week, I want people to lift their phones and vote for you, I don’t want you out the competition."
Cher Lloyd - 'Girlfriend'
Louis: "After that performance we definitely made the right decision saving you last week, that was a brilliant production, and you know what, you're becoming like your mentor, a right little diva in the making."
Dannii: "It's easy to take people away with the big ballads, you've done that, this was my favourite performance of yours, so on the beat, unreal, made me think I'd like to go to one of your concerts."
Simon: "From the disaster that was last week to undoubtedly your best performance so far, by a mile, it didn't sound karaoke, put your own stamp on it, the kind of record you'd make, right on the money."
Cheryl: "That's what I'm talking about, you absolutely smashed it up there, smashed it, smashed it. We're back."
Rebecca Ferguson - 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For'
Louis: "You know I’m your biggest fan, you always make the song your own, I didn't think rock and Rebecca would work but it did. We're looking for a recording star, you have the most distinctive voice, you are a star."
Dannii: "I love you, I love your voice, that was a great version, sometimes mid-tempo songs get lost in the show but that stood out, it really sparkled, but I'd like to see a bit more performance from you, across the stage, not always just standing in the middle."
Simon: "Once again, as next week is semi-finals, I can see the nerves, that was a little bit stiff in some parts of the performance. Having said that, you have the most beautiful distinctive voice."
Cheryl: "You know what, this show absolutely divides even households, but you're the one person they agree on. Everyone loves Rebecca and you deserve your place up there tonight."
Matt Cardle - 'I Love Rock 'N' Roll'
Louis: "You're the most consistent performer, consistently good, you can sing anything, rock, pop, good to see you moving around the stage, I think you're definitely safe for next week."
Cheryl: "I agree, so much love for you out there, nothing to worry about, really enjoyed that performance."
Simon: "To be honest with you, midway through the song, standing in the middle [of the dancers], that's what you'd call living the dream, right? Good for you, I didn't think the song would work but thought it was terrific, very, very good."
Dannii: "That's what I love to hear louder! Matt, I know that's what you want to hear as you’ve been sick all week and couldn't rehearse yesterday... that song makes me think 'Saturday night, let's go out and have a party'."
Katie Waissel - 'Sex On Fire'
Louis: "Wow, after that performance I can see you are a rock chick, I can see you fronting your own rock band, very believable, loving your image. Welcome back."
Dannii: "You look fantastic, the performance was a bit frantic really, trying too much with it, don't know what it was."
Simon: "I wanna say this, pop music, rock music, whatever it is it's got to be fun and risky and that was everything which I love about you, seriously, only you after the week you've had, could come out on that stage and sing 'Sex On Fire'."
Cheryl: "You performed your heart out, got into character, they were chanting your name."

Katie Waissel and Wagner Carrilho have become the next acts to be voted off The X Factor.
The 24-year-old was eliminated from the talent competition after receiving the least votes from the public, while the Brazilian was voted off the show after competing in a sing-off with Mary Byrne.
Upon hearing that she was heading home, Waissel nodded solemnly, while host Dermot O'Leary said: "This girl has been through hell. Give it up for her!"
Waissel thanked the judges and added: "I just feel so grateful to have got this far and I hope I’ve inspired people that no matter how many knocks you get, you put your head up and smile."
She also told O'Leary that she was going to "miss everybody" involved in the singing competition.
After some confusion on mentor Louis Walsh's part as to who was singing first in the sing-off, O'Leary made it clear that Carrilho would be performing first.
The Brazilian sang 'Unforgettable', made famous by Nat King Cole, while another of Walsh's acts Mary Byrne belted out 'This Is My Life' by Shirley Bassey.
When it came time for the judges to vote, O'Leary called on Walsh first, who chose to eliminate Carrilho.
Dannii Minogue quite easily chose to save Byrne, saying: "I have to save the person with heart, so I have to send home Wagner."
Cheryl Cole also decided to vote against the Brazilian crooner, telling him: "I know we have had our differences in the past, but you are truly an unforgettable contestant and I wish you the best."
Even though Simon Cowell's vote became irrelevant, he addressed the controversy that surrounded Carrilho in the press, telling the singer: "You’ve been a great sport. But why I’m happy with the result is because there are people out there trying to derail this show and now the control is back in the public’s hands. No offense to you, Wagner."
Carrilho smiled and nodded at the judges' comments, and when asked how he felt by O'Leary, he said: "Like a bat out of hell, I’ll be gone, gone, gone. I loved every moment that I spent here and I think I have achieved so much and I am so pleased that, you know.
"I am very happy, and I miss my cat very much."

Alesha Dixon has suggested that Simon Cowell does not really care who progresses on The X Factor because he will be able to make money from any act.
The Strictly Come Dancing judge told Metro that she was happy that controversial contestant Wagner Carrilho stayed in the competition up until his exit yesterday.
Dixon said: "Simon plays a very clever game because no matter what happens, he still wins.
"He'll make money from Wagner, he'll make money from Jedward, so he doesn't really care. As long as his show is being talked about in the papers every day, then I am sure he's happy."
She added: "I was cheering when he went through. It's not that you don't want the good singers to win, it's just very funny that Wagner is going against the grain, It's the public's way of controlling what goes on their television screens.
"The thing that's frustrating is that the competition between the judges affects the contestants. It infuriates people. It's all tied in to the manipulation of making it the biggest show."

Mary Byrne has admitted that it was tough going up against Wagner Carrilho on last night's X Factor.
Byrne and Carrilho - both mentored by Louis Walsh - found themselves singing for survival on last night's results show. The Tesco checkout worker triumphed in the sing-off after winning over all four judges with her rendition of 'This Is My Life'.
Speaking afterwards on The Xtra Factor, the Irish singer said: "I wasn't even thinking whether I was against Wagner. I was fond of Wagner - I like him, he's a nice guy.
"We were both hoping that we'd be saved, but as you know they can only save one. And I'm grateful they saved me, but I love Wagner."
Byrne also confessed to making mistakes in her sing-off, revealing that she had been feeling nervous all day.
"My throat went completely dry," she said. "Literally completely dry. And I got so shaky I went into the same verse twice. But I just covered it up and I just felt the song at the end... I was nervous all day. Shaking all day."

Black Eyed Peas, the cast of Glee and Alexandra Burke will perform on next week's X Factor semi-final.
Dermot O'Leary confirmed the lineup for the penultimate results show last night.
The full cast of hit US series Glee will hit the stage, while X Factor 2009 champion Alexandra Burke is expected to perform 'The Silence' from the upcoming deluxe edition of her Overcome record. Meanwhile, Black Eyed Peas are lined up to sing their latest track 'The Time (Dirty Bit)'.

I wish Simon would go back to being himself as in nasty instead of being Cheryl Cole's constant cheer leader - a caller on xtra factor condemned her and Simon charged in giving out Cheryl can defend herself
Well done Louis for actually voting off one of his acts I think Simon did all he could to get Wagner out
Matt, Mary and Rebecca for the final hopefully
