This Heat...Rant

I like it, providing I don't suffer from anything other than sunburn after being exposed to it.

I'm loving it - I just hate that I can't sit out in it cos of the boys. So unfair. Get the washing done, everyones got smiles on their faces - I love the summer time and weather when its like this.

11:15am and already it's 32 degrees here !!!

Its insane, i cant move im. I have a concert tonight as well and the hall is hot on normal days. It will sound dreadful as the heat will send all the instruments out of tune,.

I like the sunshine but like your boys, I can't sit in it.. I burn to a crisp even with sun factor 30... I have increased to 50 now and it is improving.. but you are right!! people are generally happier when it is sunny.. you will all be wanting this weather come December when it is freezing and miserably and you can't go anywhere.. God love all you pregnant women out there.. I don't think I would cope in this weather

I remember last year and hubby having to buy the air con unit as I couldn't take my antihistamines and I was far too hot - just couldn't move. And this year, I'm stuck inside cos of the boys :( Liam is all rashy with the heat, Ci is spraying himself with a garden spray bottle (great fun :D) and I just want to enjoy it :( Ah well, trip out in the car in a bit, air con will be full blast for sure.

Everyone is a lot happier when the sun is shining (or so it seems). Men have huge grins on their faces (probably due to the very small amount of clothing us gals are wearing at the moment :rotfl: ) and us girls have big grins on our faces (probably due to seeing all these topless males everywhere :rotfl: ), and for once, people in my town are actually making conversation with each other. OK so, it may be saying how hot it is, but at least people are interacting, which is something that doesn't seem to happen anymore. And it certainly doesn't in the winter (unless its snowing that is).

I can see where your coming from Em and it's the same in my town. I just have to feel sorry for the vulnerable. I went and knocked on my neighbours door just now as i haven't seen her in 2 days. She's miserable and close to dehydrating as she can't get upstairs for water and her kitchen is through her conservatory and she daren't go through to get water. I've just filled up 3 big jugs for her and made her some sandwiches and put them in my sons mini fridge that i lent her. But...after all that, i still came back to my house, stripped off and settled myself down on the hammock to enjoy the sun !!

P.S if any of you are taking a laptop outside like i am, leave the case around it, doesn't get heat damaged then

I love the heat but today ive had to come home cos of it.

argh it's just too much. I can't be bothered with it.
