'Cold' Posh shocks hospital staff
Victoria Beckham shocked hospital staff with her behaviour during a visit to her sick father-in-law.
Posh returned to the UK with husband David last month, supporting the LA Galaxy footballer after his father Ted Beckham suffered a heart attack.
However, the Spice Girl was apparently less than impressed by the facilities at the London Chest Hospital, turning down a cup of coffee after being told that it had not been made with bottled water.
A fellow visitor told the News of the World: "She was offered a cup of coffee by one of the staff. But she wanted to know what kind of water had it been made with - bottled or tap. Obviously it was tap water and she said, 'No, thank you'.
"The staff were bemused. Water is boiled anyway, so people didn't understand what the problem was."
While David found time to chat to patients and nurses, Victoria's attitude did not make her very popular.
A hospital source explained: "She has that fixed pout. You didn't know if she was going to kiss you, talk to you or ignore you."

Mrs High and Mighty Beckham needs to be taken down a peg or two so she remembers where she comes from. How many others have visited sick relatives day in and out and never been offered refreshments by a nurse. The nurses are there to care for the patients not run around after those who think they are royalty.

Amy Winehouse was arrested in Norway last night on suspicion of possessing drugs, according to reports.
The singer was having a day off in between concerts during her European tour when she was arrested at the Radisson Hotel in Bergen.
Winehouse's current tour is her first set of live performances since she entered rehab in August after a reported drugs overdose. She was forced to cancel a string of gigs at the end of the summer.
Her husband Blake Fielder-Civil was also arrested, but her scheduled performance at Bergen's Peer Gynt Salen is still expected to go ahead tonight.

Williams shocks US with sex remark
Robbie Williams has shocked the US public by announcing that his favourite hobbies are "bum sex" and "heroin".
The singer told reporters that he had been "w**king and shooting heroin" when asked about his recent activities upon leaving an LA hotel.
He later joked to TMZ: "What else have I been doing? Just being nasty and having bum sex."
The 33-year-old's comments were aired on US television before the 10pm watershed, with added subtitles to help viewers understand his accent.
However, his friends insisted that Williams - who relocated to LA five years ago - was merely joking around and hopes viewers were not too offended.
A source said: "Robbie didn't realise they were going to air his comments on US TV. He was just being sarcastic and he is now worried Americans won't understand his sense of humour."
********************************
:rotfl: He was obviously joking, nobody in their right mind would go on TV and say that. So funny, America is going to think he's a gay addict

Russell Watson 'critically ill'
Singer Russell Watson is critically ill in hospital with a brain tumour.
Watson was due to undergo surgery to remove the tumour at 0730 GMT at the Alexandra private hospital in Cheshire.
The singer, 40, was recording on Thursday when he was taken ill. He had a benign brain tumour removed a year ago after falling ill in the US.
The Salford-born tenor, who used to be a factory worker before he turned to singing, has sold more than four million albums worldwide.
'Complex surgery'
A spokeswoman for the hospital in Cheadle confirmed that Watson was admitted on Wednesday afternoon.
"Russell Watson is at the Alexandra Hospital. He came in yesterday afternoon. No other information can be given at this time."
She said the hospital was used to doing "complex surgery".
Watson's agent, Richard Thompson, described the tumour as "major".
"Our thoughts are with Russell and his family," he added.
The singer had an emergency operation to remove a benign brain tumour in September 2006.
The operation to remove the tumour, called a pituitary adenoma, took place at St George's Hospital in south London.
He recovered but was forced to cancel television appearances and postpone a UK tour.
His latest album, Outside In, is due for release on 26 November.
Watson found fame after the chairman of Manchester United invited him to sing Nessun Dorma ahead of the football team's last match of the season in 1999. Watson got a standing ovation and later landed a recording contract.

I am not particularly keen on his music but he has got a nice voice and I wish him a speedy and full recovery.:(

Naomi Campbell loses temper at airport
Naomi Campbell lost her temper at an airport after she arrived too late to take her flight, reports claim.
The supermodel demanded to be allowed on the plane after turning up at Heathrow 11 minutes before it was scheduled to leave.
According to witnesses, she stamped her feet, saying: "You have to let me on. Come on."
British Airways staff said she could travel to New York without her bags, which they would send on a later flight, but she shouted: "You are joking. You are always losing bags and I don't trust you with mine in a million years. I can't believe you won't allow me on your flight. What is this? Who must I speak to?"
A source told the Daily Mirror: "When BA staff explained she was too late, she exploded and stamped her foot. There was a tirade of abuse."
Campbell, who took a court-ordered anger-management class earlier this year, eventually walked away from the BA counter.
Her spokesman said he was "not aware of any incident".

Taylforth speaks about daughter's crash
Gillian Taylforth has spoken out about how her 15-year-old daughter died in a car accident, before being brought back to life by paramedics.
The Bill actress revealed her gratitude for the help her daughter Jessie received, and explained that she had been in a car with two male friends.
Taylforth told Hello! magazine: "My daughter died while trapped in the car. The paramedics saved her life. I can't thank them or the doctors and nurses enough."
She explained how she had said goodbye to Jessie, saying: "She came downstairs, I asked her for a kiss, which I wouldn't normally, and as the three of them left the house I shouted, 'Drive safely'."
But a short while later she got a call from one of the boys telling her what had happened. The former EastEnders star said of the crash scene: "It was chaos. There were strangers there and one woman had been holding Jessie's hand the whole time, for which I'll be eternally grateful.
"I kept looking at her and could see that her eyes were open but she seemed drowsy and could barely speak. All she could say was, 'Mum'."
Taylforth continued: "The firemen cut away the car but, as the paramedics tried to move Jessie, her eyes rolled backwards into her head and she stopped breathing. They rapidly put a line into her and covered her face with an oxygen mask.
"I didn't know at the time, but Jessie had died in that moment and their quick actions saved her life. They just kept on saying, 'We will get her back, we will get her back'.
"I felt my world had gone into free fall. All I could think was, 'That's my baby.' And I did a deal with God, 'Please don't let my baby die, she's not ready to be taken from me yet. I'll do anything, just please don't let my baby die'."
Jessie was allowed to leave hospital and return home to her mother last Thursday.

Russell Watson's voice may have been damaged by his emergency brain surgery last week.
The opera singer underwent surgery last Thursday after he fell ill in the recording studio and an MRI scan showed he had a brain tumour.
Surgeons had hoped they could operate on the tumour through his nose, but Watson still has scar tissue from two golf-ball sized tumours he suffered a year ago, so they were forced to enter via his mouth.
Richard Thompson, the singer's manager, told The Times: "There was some concern because when he came out of theatre he was having trouble speaking, but he's speaking normally now.
"It is a worry, but we don't know how much of a worry. When he had the operation a year ago we didn't want to go through the mouth for obvious reasons, but there was no option this time.
"He's got stitches in his mouth and they'll need to heal. But he will be singing again."

Mills breaks down over media smears
Heather Mills broke down during a television interview this morning and claimed that the media has been smearing her name and treating her in the same way as Princess Diana and Kate McCann.
The estranged wife of Sir Paul McCartney accused a "certain corner" of encouraging the media to treat her in such a way, and claimed she had received death threats. She said that the situation has forced her to be "close to suicide".
Mills accused the paparazzi of "pushing her to the edge" and requested that the public stop fuelling them by buying the tabloid newspapers.
While speaking on GMTV she appeared to break down, then apologised and said: "What are we doing as a nation buying these newspapers?
"We need to force a change as a responsible nation."

Victoria: David colour codes fridge
Victoria Beckham has revealed that husband David's obsessive-compulsive disorder has become so bad that he now colour codes their fridge.
The Spice Girl also claimed that Beckham has to vacuum in straight lines and wear a pinafore apron while he is doing so.
Victoria was being interviewed by an American radio station when she revealed the footballer's obsessions, saying: "David is very, very tidy and I am not. Even our fridge is colour coded.
"I am creative, I have clothes all over the place. If he does the cleaning, he vacuums in straight lines - in a pinny.
"And if anyone walks around after he's done it, he gets funny."
David admitted to having the disorder during an interview last year, revealing that he has to count clothes and pile magazines up in straight lines.

Hilton threatens to sue porn shop
Paris Hilton has threatened to sue a Toronto porn shop after spotting cardboard cut-outs of herself advertising her sex tape.
Employees claimed the socialite "burst" into the store in a skeleton costume on October 24 and demanded they tear down posters promoting One Night In Paris.
CCTV footage of the outburst on TMZ shows Hilton asking for the manager before telling a member of staff: "You can't use my image in a porn store. I'm going to call my lawyer and sue the ******* out of this place if you don't take them down right now. I really want them down because they're mean and it's not right. I really mean it. This is disgusting. I want them down now or I'm calling the *******ing cops."
She then tore down two cut-outs of herself before walking out of the store.
The owner has alleged that a man calling himself Hilton's manager later entered the shop and threatened to sue him for defamation of character if the CCTV footage was leaked.
Hilton was in the Canadian city shooting new movie Repo: The Genetic Opera.

Goody: 'I thought I had bowel cancer'
Jade Goody has revealed that she thought she had bowel cancer because she was taking too many slimming pills.
The ex-Big Brother housemate said she has had four blood transfusions after taking a cocktail of diet pills, water tablets and laxatives in a bid to lose weight.
She told ITV1's This Morning: "When I was taking the slimming pills and the laxatives, it tells your bowel to stop and it does the work for you. So now my bowel collapses every now and then, it just forgets how to work and the pain is awful.
"I've had two blood transfusions where I've fainted, once on a television show and once just in a toilet. After I had both of my children I had to have another two blood transfusions because my blood clotting cells and hormone cells were extremely low."
The 26-year-old explained that she regularly took twice the recommended dosage and flew to LA to buy stronger pills, paying up to £300 for a small bottle.
But she denied admitting her addiction in an attempt to gain public sympathy, saying: "I've never been one of these people that's like, 'Yeah, pay me and I'll talk about an eating disorder' or 'I'm not getting in much magazines so I'll talk about my slimming pill disaster'."
Goody vowed to steer clear of the tablets in an interview last month, saying: "I've done so much damage to my body through taking the pills and making myself sick. I've gone down that road and don't want to go back."

Kylie Minogue has scrapped plans for a 40th birthday tour next year.
The popstar was reported to be preparing for some concerts in 2008 after her creative director William Baker claimed they had started rehearsals.
However, the singer now insists she will not be playing because she is not yet fit enough to cope with the rigours of touring following her recovery from breast cancer.
She told the Daily Mail: "The tour is not going to happen, it is far too soon. I can't do it next year.
"It kind of breaks my heart because that is what I'm in this business for. Not being able to go ahead with my plans is a real downer.
"Every woman has to face up to new priorities, near the top is health. I take my health very seriously but not obsessively. Everything is about pacing yourself."

Kylie Minogue’s representatives have demanded an apology from the Daily Mail after it claimed the singer had cancelled a 40th birthday tour amid fears for her health.
Minogue had been reported to be preparing for some concerts in 2008 after her creative director William Baker claimed they had started rehearsals.
But the Daily Mail quoted her as saying she would not be performing after doctors decided she was not fit enough to cope with a tour following her recovery from breast cancer.
Record company Parlophone described the story as “highly damaging" and insisted that a tour had never been confirmed, saying: "We would like to make it clear that the report in the Daily Mail that Kylie has cancelled a forthcoming tour on doctor's orders is completely false. When asked, Kylie has said on numerous occasions that she loves touring and that she might tour again in the near future. There were and are no dates currently confirmed."
It continued: "Kylie has not been told by her doctors that touring 'could seriously harm her health'. She did not give the quotes reported in the Mail. And touring is something that she is still considering for the future. Her health remains excellent and she is in the middle of promoting her new single and album.
"Her representatives have asked the Mail to print a prominent apology for the highly damaging story."

Beckham ordered to fatten up for tour
Victoria Beckham has been told to put on weight ahead of the Spice Girls' reunion tour next month.
The 33-year-old, who is often criticised for being too thin, has been ordered to eat five meals a day amid concerns that she will be unable to handle the band's busy schedule.
A source told the Daily Mail: "First Victoria is going on a week-long cleanse where she will only be able to drink hot lemon water and eat organic fruit and vegetables to detox her system. She will have to keep this up for five days even though she will be training. Her new diet is based on eating small bowls of brown rice with steamed vegetables."
Beckham's favourite meal from the new regime is said to consist of steamed spinach, carrots and tomatoes. She will also be eating beetroot several times a day, as well as handfuls of nuts and seeds.
The insider added: "She is terrified of putting on a single pound and has had to be talked into increasing her food intake. It would be very embarrassing for her if she collapses or gets ill because she's too weak."
