She hated being in here but she knew she only had herself to blame Noah was gonna go mad when they let her out and she couldn’t really blame him she’d really gone over the top this time
Kerrie decided to call him get him to come and pick her up it was worth a try

A police officer approached the cell door

Kerrie dialled a number

Kerrie slammed down the phone, bloody men who needed them
Chrissie- I doubt you’ve killed someone Jake
Jake- you shouldn’t make assumptions about people Chrissie I think even you should have realised that by now
Chrissie- Jake what are you talking about
Jake- forget it I need some air
Chrissie- what about Lia
Jake- she’s coming with me can’t have you running off again can we
He opened the side door and walked out with his daughter leaving Chrissie alone sobbing quietly as she realised her world was shattered and Den Watts had won again he’d ruined what was left of her fragile existence

Jake walked around the Square trying to sort his head out and try and understand his girlfriend’s feelings the lies she’d told but he couldn’t blame her he certainly couldn’t hate her he loved her too much to ever hate her
He remembered the picnic at the allotments in the early stages of their relationship it was there he realised he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her no-one else came close
Jake looked down at his sleeping daughter before making his decision he knew what he had to do

Noah- can’t help you there mate it’s been the whole basis of mine and Kerrie’s relationship and some things never change

Noah- and you always will right no matter what they do and no matter how stupid they behave
Jake- yeah it’s like there’s a piece of string that attaches you to them nothing can break it, it’s there for good just like your stuck with them for good
Noah- yep a relationship for life not just for Christmas just like this little one
He stroked Lia’s cheeks
Jake- do you ever wish you could stop loving Kerrie
Noah- not for a second she wouldn’t believe it but to me she’s perfect and I can’t not love her she’s my world and my life revolves around her, why do you wish you and Chrissie were over
Jake- no I just think maybe it would be easier if I could stop loving her but I can’t we all make mistakes right
