what a cracking pair...of episodes :p
just shows that Eastenders is back on form, when it does it well, IT DOES IT WELL
the first year in a while that Christmas hasn't been focused on a big star leaving, we finally have a stable cast of superb actors, none of whom are too big for their boots, which means we can get some decent storylines on the go
loved the acting last night, great all around! Loved how there were these strong units of families having their christmas gatherings! The Brannings, Beales, and Mitchells are really great at the moment!
Bring on tonight's episode! Can't wait to see what Stacey and Bradley have to say to one another! :D
yeah i wonder if bradley will even listen to stacey, since he did listen to his dad in the end, cant believe max started off by putting all the blame on her, HE is the married man
what annoys me about Bradley is the fact that he was the one that dumped Stacey and caused all of this!
She started the affair after they split and ended it before they got back together, she never cheated on him, so he has no right not to take her back. He shouldn't be overeacting like that!
What a fantastic two episodes last night! I must say the reveal of the affair was definetly worth the wait.
It was absolutely fantastic - the slap that Tanya gave Stacey was great viewing as was the punch that Bradley gave Max, and I particularly liked how the characters all dispersed once the affair was revealed (Jack going to comfort Bradley which I liked and Sean going to comfort Stacey and then Tanya). All the reactions of all characters were realistic.
Max is such a slimeball and I hope Bradley doesn't forgive him in a hurry, and that goes for Stacey as well, though, she did seem genuinely upset about the whole situation.
I didn't know Tanya was going to fall down the stairs at the end so that was a surprise - the scene was brilliantly done and really reminded me of classic Eastenders when Tiffany fell down the stairs when she was about to leave Grant (which I loved!)
The second episode of last night has to be easily my favourite EE episode of the year.

2 …. 12.2 (50.0%) …. Doctor Who Christmas Special (18:45)
3 …. 11.6 (53.7%) …. EastEnders (18:15) BBC1
4 …. 10.5 (51.1%) …. Regional News and Weather (18:15)
5 …. 10.4 (51.4%) …. BBC News and Weather (18:00) BBC1
6 …. 9.8 (41.7%) …. To the Manor Born (21:30) BBC1
7 …. 9.1 (50.8%) …. Shrek 2 (16:30) BBC1
8 …. 8.9 (35.4%) …. Coronation Street (20:30) ITV
9 …. 8.3 (32.9%) …. Strictly Come Dancing (20:30) BBC1
10 … 7.1 (47.6%) …. Finding Nemo (15:00) BBC1
Oh yes
 ! Over half of the viewing population watched EE last night - that is incredible. That has to put EE near the Number 1 spot for most watched episode of the year?
Corrie really did take a beating - I was expecting a higher figure for it.
I agree Joanne. I think Bradley has every right to overreact - he may have dumped her in the first place before the affair began, but Stacey going off with his own father is just a knock in the teeth! She could have gone off with any other man to get Bradley back which was her initial intention (Deano?), so I think Bradley has every right to be angry.
