Like Chris said, they were successful - that's something you just can't ignore. They were one of the first bands to dare to be different - they wore what they wanted to, made the music they wanted to - and they weren't just a group of clones. That's why people loved them.
Alot of people seem to forget how they changed the way some people were. It sounds silly but they gave me more confidence to speak up and stand up for what I believe in. It makes no sense but I can't really explain it.
And I'd like to apologise. I realise now that some of the things I said were wrong - you are entitled to your own opinions and I have to accept that not everyone likes the SGs. I need to learn to think before I speak :o
Amber they were not different. They were solely manufactured as a response to the Boy Bands of the era. Since they split up it really shows how talentless they were. Remember you wer 6 yrs younger when they split up. You have probably matured a lot since then so will probably see them for what they are now
