Just when you thought having David Tennant and John Barrowmen on screen together was brilliant they now have John Simm too. Fantastic episode, gripping and very funny roll on the finale.
Priceless bit on Saturday.
Perception filter -The Doctor says,'it's like you fancy someone and they don't know you exist', Captain Jack looks at Martha who looks back at him and he says ,'You too?'
I am old enough to have seen the very first episode of Doctor Who with William Hartnell and to consider Tom Baker as the definitive Doctor, but I have to say that I think Series Three of the new Doctor Who is exceptional. It has had great stories, brilliantly scripted and marvellously acted. It has been an absolute triumph for the BBC, showing that they can do some things right after all. :)
I agree. Series 3 has kicked some serious ****. Which is why its now the BBCs flagship show- hardly surprising though, seeing as it was Eastenders before, no competition now!!
I loved the episode. I loved the one liners, and the plot generally. And Voodoo Child is now offically stuck right in my head. Thats not a bad thing though, that song rules.
Series 3 is by far the best series so far of New Who.
There is going to be a great big bag of mixed emotions on Saturday night when the series ends. Last seasons finale was emotional enough when Rose went to the parrell world and she told the Dr she loved him. I had tears in my eyes. I can't wait until Saturday but I don't want the series to end either.
the master is brilliant!!! i love john simm in this
the holy trinity captain jack the doctor and the master what more could you ask?
I completly agree Luna!! John Simm, John Barrowman and David Tennant in 1 episode- phoar!!!
Saturdays finale is extra long!!! Its just over 50 minutes, instead of 4 minutes. Might only be 6 minutes, but that makes all the difference!
You can't get a better Saturday night's telly than Mr Tennant, Barrowman and Simm all in the one show. Without going off topic but this years National Television Award for the best Actor is a two horse race between David and Gene Hunt (Phillip Glenstier)
I am so looking forward to tonight,, those 3 guys are terrific together,, Martha is a good addition to the program too,, shes not Rose but hey she is terrific in her own right, but the guys together whooo hooooo:cheer:
a bit off topic here:
I remember When Tom Baker was Dr Who,, my brother collected every thing he could get his hands on,, ( even the scarf pattern LOL )
I haven't been a Dr Who fan for yearss until I moved over to Europe,, I picked it up again,,,this show ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!! Bring on Series 4 ...
