Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours airs emotional scenes for Jane Harris next week as she reflects on a double loss.
Jane is about to be suspended from Erinsborough High, which leaves her job hanging in the balance and also threatens her close friendship with Terese Willis.
Viewers have recently seen Jane throw caution to the wind by pursuing a relationship with her employee Clint Hendry.
Jane and Clint initially connected via a dating app and were complete strangers when they first met. However, Jane later realised that Clint worked as a cleaner at Erinsborough High and Eirini Rising, creating a conflict of interest as she's in a position of power at the school.
This week's episodes see Jane's secret exposed by troublesome school student Jasmine, who has spotted her sneaking around with Clint.
Terese is outraged when she learns that Jane and Clint have been hooking up in a vacant apartment at Eirini Rising, which led to noise complaints and a scandal among the residents.
Things only get worse for Jane when word reaches Lana Kline from the Education Department, who suspends her from her job until further notice.
Next week, Jane admits to her loved ones that she has already accepted defeat as she doesn't expect to be reinstated at the school.
Clint feels terrible for Jane, while her son Byron and extended family member Aaron Brennan are also concerned for her.
Jane's allies hope to cheer her up by arranging a romantic dinner for her and Clint.
As Clint listens carefully to what's bothering Jane, he realises that she's most rattled by the troubled state of her friendship with Terese rather than her job.
Clint makes a call to Terese, who comes around for an honest heart-to-heart with her friend.
Jane is pleased as she and Terese manage to get things back on track, and she rewards Clint for his efforts by flirtatiously inviting him back into her bedroom.
Will Jane ultimately lose her job ? and is she doing the right thing by putting Clint before her career like this?
Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, February 24.
Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee and Prime Video in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach Comedy.

Byron tries to help her.

Neighbours spoilers follow.
Neighbours confirms Jane Harris's fate next week as her son Byron Stone helps her to save her job.
Jane was recently suspended from her role as Erinsborough High's headteacher as she was caught out for dating an employee, Clint Hendry.
Viewers have recently seen Jane throw caution to the wind by pursuing Clint, who works as a cleaner at the school and Eirini Rising.
When the Education Department found out last week, Jane was reprimanded for failing to disclose the potential conflict of interest. She was suspended from her duties pending an investigation.
This week's scenes see the situation get much worse as Clint makes an unexpected confession that leaves Jane feeling utterly foolish.
This throws Jane off her game just as she's about to attend an important meeting with the Department, where her future will be decided.
During the meeting, a distracted Jane struggles to explain herself. Fortunately, she has appointed Byron to represent her interests.
Byron draws on his successful past as a lawyer to bring up previous case law and department policy.
Byron's careful research allows him to defend Jane, strongly arguing that her errors of judgement don't justify a permanent dismissal.
Much to everyone's relief, Jane is let off with a warning and is told that she can continue working at the school.
In a further twist, Education Department chief Lana Cline pulls Byron to one side. She reveals how impressed she is by his skill and requests another meeting to discuss his talents further.
Back home, Jane's loved ones celebrate the result of the meeting, failing to recognise just how heartbroken she is after Clint's big confession.
It's Aaron Brennan who senses Jane's sad mood and he pulls her to one side. As Jane laments the loss of her fresh start with Clint, can Aaron find a way to support her?
