Jimi Mistry to join Corrie

I don't like Leanne with Kal either so I'm looking forward to them splitting. I wouldn't mind her reuniting with Nick down the line.

I think the Nazirs get too much criticism and feel they just need better writing. The chicken story would have been fine as a short-term comedy plot. Where's Yasmeen these days?

Things are looking up for Leanne Battersby in next week’s Coronation Street when Kal Nazir proposes to her.
Poor Leanne hasn’t exactly been lucky in love but she’s finally found happiness with Kal, despite his son Zeedan making things awkward for them.
She’s knocked for six when Kal leads her out to the Rovers back yard and goes down on one knee.
But he’s annoyed to discover he’s forgotten the ring and telling Leanne not to move, sets off to find it as Leanne comes to terms with what’s happening.
Kal rushes back to Leanne, explaining he went home to fetch the ring so he could propose and she’s thrilled.
However, with news that Kal is leaving are they actually going to get their happy ever after or is it going to end in tears?
As Jimi Mistry is leaving, it will end in tears .. I wish they would make exit storylines rather less predictable .. outgoing characters either leave because they cheated or they get killed off :(
