I believe that it will get worse. The damage of an acid attack isn't instant, except for the pain.

Could that be down to surgery though? I thought they removed the burnt skin when Ross first got to the hospital?

I think they did, but it's still all a part of the acid damage. Less damage if skin is removed.

I've seen a few pictures on twitter of Ross' face and the burns look much worse close up. I find it appalling that I've seen "man up Ross" tweets on there aswell. He's just been permanently scarred, he's hardly going to just shrug it off.

As Ross mentioned last night, there's a Phantom of the Opera look to the disfigurement, with the scars "only" on one side of his face.
