I didnt have the best start to the day, I had a doctors appointment at 10 and woke up at half 9! Luckily I made it, but there was no time to search for an umbrella so I got soaked! And I mean soaked. The weather is lovely now, just like yesterday, I have no idea whats going on!
Im still trying to sort out my room, I own sooo much crap, I think i need a bin bag cos of this stuff I just dont know why I kept it, I think at the weekend I will have a proper tidy out
You all know I only got this new job 3 months ago but my Team leader is going on maternity leave in September, maybe for a year and they want me to replace her til she gets back.. I am shocked!! but so happy!!

I been shopping today, the queues in town for people getting the new iphone were increible. Now done all my jobs so going to sit back watch telly and but my neil delamere dvd on later.
There was a massive fire at the paper mill last night. I panicked but mainly cause when i was 5 there was a fire at the pub next to me and i panicked than to. The flames and smoke were like woah! There were 10 fire engines, I'm not sure if they maybe called in Lothian fire service is well, Ambulance, 3 Police cares and 2 Police fans. The bridge has been cordoned off an so has the path where you could head up the high street. Everyone was heading along to North Queensferry to see it. We got asked to move the cars onto the pavements so the fire engines could get through. So both the parents went to do it and one of the fire engines came down and decided to try and get through a space that didn't exsist and nearly crashed into my car my dad was not pleased! There's a video of it on youtube already and it was a really bad fire! You could hear the cackling of the flames from alix's and she lives a good bit away from me! The fire engines may be staying there for most of the day cause they although they've got the fire under control it's precautions there using now. Exciting night for me last night. But i really hope they catch whoever done this, we know it's kids just don't know who. They know they're not meant to be playing in it! Obviously some people don't listen :angry: :rolleyes:
Sounds awful, glad you are ok though and that there were no casualties, but a lot of damage and still the risk of the fire starting again :(
I cant believe this is the summer and Im so bored already! Today is going so slowly!
Ive only been just a week and a day and I feel like im going mad. To be fair at uni I had ike 2 and half weeks of doing nothing anyway cos I finished my exams so early but at least at uni I had loads of people there and it just felt like I had stuff to do. Here Im bored, I go away 3 weeks on wednesday and I wish it would come sooner, If this is what its going to be like all summer I dont know what Im going to do
I am feeling very tearful which means I am running a fever, my thermometer needs a new battery and I attended a meeting this morning which involved me leaving home at 6.15 am to drive about 150 miles each way. I am feeling worse than I did a week ago when my flu started, supposed to drive to a meeting tomorrow around 300 miles (each way), not sure at the moment whether I can manage that :(
Sorry to hear you're feeling so unwell. It sounds like you need to concentrate on taking care of yourself, and not worry about work for a few days.
That's a long trek you've got tomorrow if you're feeling unwell. You may feel up to it in the morning but don't forget you have to sit through a meeting then drive all the way back. Can you do a conference call or is it quicker to fly there (not much use for tomorrow but for future meetings)?Quote:
