'X Factor' singers 'get £100k from tour'
Contestants who join next year's X Factor tour will receive around £100,000 for the live performances, it has been claimed.
According to The Sun, next year's dates are the most lucrative in the history of the show, with 29 gigs already booked and further concerts possible in the light of successful ratings.
An unnamed finalist from last year said: "The tour is the most lucrative part of being on the show. Even if you don't win, it can set you up for life."
An X Factor spokeswoman said: "We do not discuss any financial details of contracts for the tour."
Producers have reportedly decided that the top eight acts will perform on the tour - Lucie Jones, Jamie Archer, Lloyd Daniels, John & Edward, Stacey Solomon, Danyl Johnson, Olly Murs and Joe McElderry.
It is claimed that each solo act will receive in the region of £100,000, while John and Edward Grimes will each receive just under this figure.
The finalists who will not join the tour are Kandy Rain, Rikki Loney, Miss Frank and Rachel Adedeji.
Last year, it was reported that some performers on the X Factor tour earned as little as £100 for each live date.

'X Factor' to have Michael, Wham! week
X Factor producers have reportedly chosen a George Michael and Wham! theme for this Saturday's show.
Yesterday, creative director Brian Friedman confirmed that the theme had been switched several times, with Elton John, Soul, Motown and American hits all in the running.
However, according to The Sun, their final decision is for the remaining six acts to perform tracks by either Michael or his '80s pop duo Wham!.
John & Edward are rumoured to be singing either 'Wham Rap!' or 'Wake Me Up Before You Go Go'.
"The theme has only just been decided which means less rehearsal time. Handily for the twins it wasn't Elton John week or they may have struggled," said a source.
Susan Boyle and Mariah Carey have been confirmed as the special guests for this Sunday's results show.
The X Factor continues at 8pm on Saturday
