Well not much today, I had a hair but :p college was average
I've done that before with history. :p
Yeah it is the 30 mark one. I've done so much on statistics, so I left the conclusion until now. I wanted to do some in college today but the network went down which was a bit annoying so I couldn't. It'll probably take me about 2 or 3 hours if I work solidly. (HAH! :p ) It took me 4 hours complete my whole physics plan if I remember and that was worth 10 marks. (although an hour of it was sorting out the graphs and text that had moved ooh dear..) I have a late start on Tuesdays but I have orthodontist tomorrow so I have to do it all tonight. I was hoping to do a bit in college tomorrow but because the ortho is halfway across London it takes an hour to get there I can't! I'm going to get back to college just in time for my 2pm lesson lol.
I would just not bother going in then get it done for Wednesday haha. What time does your college finish? We finish at 3.
I wish! The deadline is tomorrow and she refused to extend it. Because some of the class wound her up by constantly asking her she's hasn't budged on her decision. Idiots. But yeah...I'm going to hand it in because otherwise she won't accept and before the exams next year we can improve one piece of coursework from each unit, and if this one turns out bad I'll choose this one to improve! :p
The latest we finish college is 4.30 but I only have late finishes on Monday and Tuesday. Although Mondays I tend to go to the gym. So I get back around 6-7 depending on how long I spend there.
That's one from each type of Science I take it? How many pieces of coursework do you actually get?
Coursework is annoying. If I don't have 27/27 for Business now I'll eat my Christmas cracker hat! It took me ages just to do the work for the 4 marks I lost for not doing some of the documents I was meant to have analysed before half term. I'd rather have coursework than exams though.
Yeah me too. Even if I do leave it quite late sometimes!
I do double applied science which is 70% coursework. Fun times. At the moment I have the ongoing physics (until Feb), Biology, and two chemistry ones - 3 & 9 marks. And I'm getting another biology one on Friday, although that's only 9 marks. And it's on Wetlands so it is similar to the pond coursework. I'm just so glad we are not visiting the sewage works!! The coursework tends to pile up if you leave it too long but its not been too bad so far. I remember last year being so annoyed at them because they gave us about 6 coursework's to do in the last few weeks of term and it gave me only two weeks to revise for the AS's. They don't seem to communicate with each other though, so you can go a couple of weeks without one and then get three at the same time which similar deadlines..hmm. I'm not sure how many we get altogether. I shall have to check that sometime.
 You didn't do badly after only having two weeks to revise! Teachers seem to like that; last year they were lecturing us asking us how much revision we'd done for GCSEs and we were like, "How are we meant to revise with piles of homework to do?"
Tell me about it. One of my Business teachers knows me from GCSE and she's always asking me how the class were in the other teacher's lesson instead of asking her lol!
They do trips to the sewage works?
My teacher was like "It would be FUN!" Since when has a sewage treatment works ever been fun. :rotfl: Apparently its huge it treats waste from Heathrow and near us.
That sounds about as enthralling as when we had to go around the school in Year 9 and compare the 'wear and tear' on all the flights of stairs lol!
I could describe the sewage works as something beginning with f, the only problem being that it has two words, the second of which is 'disgusting!' :rotfl:
Wear and tear. :rotfl: Yeah my biology teacher is one of those people who is really really into science.
