My day has been AWFUL - but now I have an admirer I feel MUCH better!
My dishwasher has broken, I had a migraine and yesterday my eldest son had the first 2 of 4 teeth taken out because he needs a brace. 13 years without a filling and then he has to have 4 healthy teeth removed, it doesn't seem fair at all.
My youngest got a puncture - the day before his cycling proficiency test - and my husband is in Madrid!
Bust bike, dirty dishes and pounding headache!
Thank you to the nice man at Halfords who repaired the bike and saved the day!
And thank you to Mordor! :p
oh bless!! I had 9 healthy teeth taken out when I was 11, woke up the next morning and the pillow was stuck to my head (yes with blood) was very traumatised and have hated the dentist ever since!!! At the moment I'm supposed to have my wisdom teeth taken out but wont go till they cause me probs as they have to cut my gums!! will wait till they cause me pain!!
Have only had one filling but they burst a blood vessel and was in hospital for three days!!
Dentists are EVIL!!
Hope your son gets on ok though!
My day today seems like it's been going forever. I was up early getting ready to go out, met my friend Sam, got the bus to college, had a cheese and pickle roll and a bottle of water, did an hour and a half sociology exam, met Sam, got the bus home, had an ice cream, went home, dusted and hoovered my room, my friend came round, opened a bottle of wine, ordered some pizza, watched some telly, found out my reception wasn't working so I couldn't tape 'Enders, watched it upstairs and loved it, chatted on the messageboards, had some more wine, my friend whent home, my dad got home, watched Jake and Chrissie clips with my dad, had some more wine and now I'm sitting here chatting on MSN and the boards with a glass of wine which isn't going down planning what I'm going to do tomorrow.
Oh sounds like you've had a busy but fulfilled day.Quote:

There is one in the fridge but I'm thinking I'll save it for tomorrow. I'm getting that light headedness now! :lol:Quote:

I can't really drink vodka, I do but it burns my chest.
I quite like Martini. I usually drink wine until I'm too drunk to notice that I'm ordering double vodka's. Electrictoes knows what I'm night, that's where the story of the durnk tourists comes out!
Does ElectricToes drink a lot too?
No, her and my friend (we were all sharing a room the night before at the soap awards) wer sober but I was slightly tipsy so they decided to take me for a walk to get some fresh air. I sort of ended up bumping into some Spanish tourists, walking them to a train station and then wandering round Bayswater babbling about TAO! I was sober by the time I went to bed! :lol:Quote:

LOL, do you drink kind of to be social?Quote:

Oh my good lord! I am so sorry.Quote:

You must have had a rough ride love, still it's nice to know you're making the best of things and having a glass of wine with your friends and stuff and also putting all your energy into doing these exams. You're an inspiration to everybody here and I hope I'm not the only one who recognises that!!!Quote:

I get a little bit worried because I've seen friends who just morph into a different person when they are drunk. My friend Sam gets so violent that he scares me to death. I used to cry all the time but it doesn't affect me as drastically now. I just open up more, and tend to say what I really think. I'm not sure if that's a good thing!Quote:

You're perfectly entitled to refuse to go to work should it not be in your required agreed hours.Quote:
