Yes - I think it may have been slightly better if it was just 2 half hour eps. It just dragggged on. I lost interest! I was more interested in the twiglets that my hand couldn't keep away from.

Totally agree.. Kevin no my fav character but I was actually crying. Loved the bit with Denise laughing at the car breaking down, she was right, it was typical Kevin thing to happen. The end where they carried his coffin was very powerful and emotional.
Carly and Denise going away, good. explain how Diane Parish can cover her maternity leave and how the rest of the wicks are leaving without a stupid reason for chelsea and Libby staying.
Phil off the hook again... hopefully someone will stop him. I hope Darren cause Kevin meant so much to him.
Sean and Tanya is so nice but she is just doing it to make Max jealous and I think he really has honest feelings for her. Jane telling Ian steven could move back in was nice as it did make Ian very happy and she loves him that much to want him to be happy dispite what she feels about his son
Just wanted to add.. Carly speech last night was quiet sad but also very well acted.. I actually thought it was her reall dad and not just as soap character
Way to go Stacey. Could her and Max please at least try and show some humility over what they have done.
Aww Sean and Tanya, and well if stacey hadnt of told her it would of come out in the end.
Last nights episode was very confusing. It felt the timeline was all over the place.
Also last night that bloke Pretty met, does anybody else think that was the Masood's renegade son Syed ?
Loved Jane's jam tart comment lol
im actually surprised that max never mentioned it when he first saw sean at the house with tanya
and on a different note I dont think tanya was being too hard on preeti by firing her, she forgot to lock the door because she was too busy thinking about what to wear to a party causing tanya to get burgled. In the real world that is a sackable offence
Well to be fair to Sean he did try and tell Tanya at the wedding, but she didn't want to hear what he had to say! He was also going to tell her at the park place .
wasnt sean only going to tell tanya IF she said she would have liked him if she wasnt with max?
erm I think so, I mean I suppose he is gonna say he was gonna to but stacey dont him not to, that whole routine
Both Stacey and Phil were bang out of order today - well in Phil's case I suppose it is a bit understandable but still. In the first place he shouldn't have gone there to snatch her if that is what he was planning to do. That's wrong. It is not surprising Lisa got custody when he went to jail - it is only natural. If the parets are seperated they have equal right to the child and the child has to live with one parent while the other has access - that's only fair. Ok i understand that it is hard for Phil to hear Louise call another man "dad" but that is not Jack's fault. As Jack said he had to pull a lot of strings to get that address and he thought he was doing Phil a favour. It looks as though Lisa's boyfriend/husband has brought Louise up as his own as Ian did with Steven and though wrong of Lisa not to tell her the truth - I suppose it was understandable as he was in prison.
As for Stacey - that was really unfair. Ok so Sean didn't tell her he was with Tanya. Who cares? She never told him she was with Max till she had to. He has been a good and supportive brother to her and how does she repay him? By telling Tanya he knew about the affair all along - atually he did not. He only found out the night before the wedding and Stacey made him choose between her and Tanya and her choose her. Anyway Sean's in a dilemma here - if he tells her she'll be angry with him for breaking up her marriage and if he doesn't she'll be angry at him for not saying anything. He did what seemed best at the time. At this rate she'll only have Steven left to support her.
Sean was in a difficult position. He tried telling Tanya before he knew it was Stacey and she didn't believe him, so she probably wouldn't of believed him this time either.
I know what your saying about stacey but like we saw she scared the she will loose him ( and she probably has now) as well she has steven now, and there was a mum who is awkward sometimes and we know how much she needs sean
I think this will put an end to Sean's 'nice' phase. I don't think Tanya/Sean would ever work but a friendship would have been nice.
Awww I think it could have worked and could still possibly. But I'm getting the feeling that Tanya is just using Sean tbh??
I can't stand Chelesa what an annoying brat i hope she leaves.
I felt sorry for Shirley.
So long Carly. Is she now gone for good.
Yes, Chelsea back to he usual self. Prison obviously did nothing for her.
Aww I really nice seans nice side, I think he is really sweet
Jane's line cracked me up "The tarts in my kitchen have jam on" :rotfl: @ Stacey...even though Jane is annoying me at the moment with her vendetta against Steven.
Stacey - out of order! She only told Tanya to get one over on her, and she is going to end up isolating herself even more if she carries on like it - can't see Sean being very forgiving, very quickly to be honest.
Phil - like Stacey - out of order. Why punch Jack? Did he really think that Lisa wouldn't have moved on with her and Louise's lives and put everything on a backburner? Well, of course she was - no one can possibly live without Phil can they!
Totally agree Stacy was sooo out of order, especially barging in Tanya's house...has the girl got one shame, or brain for that matter? lol
Oh why oh why couldnt Denise take the annoying Chelsea with her and maybe lose her in a desert somewhere....?
I didnt fully watch tonight's episode because I found what most of the characters where doing in the episode downright annoying, or they were themselves annoying me...
I agree with both your comments concerning Phil and Stacey. The way Stacey is carrying on she will only have Steven to depend on. Mo and Charlie didn't seem very impressed at what she did even though Zoe did something similar and now she'll lose Sean and it isn't Jack's fault - Phil went to prison didn't he and Lisa moved on? It was only right that she got custody when phil went to prison and though I sympathise a little with Phil as it is hard hearing your daughter refer to another man as "dad" - punching Jack is unfair and won't help matters. The Mitchell Motto seems to be "If it moves, hit it".
I think the age gap is too wide for romance to work for long though it would have been nice to see them together romantically. Friendship would have been fine if only Stacey hadn't messed it up. Sean was pretty decent actually - taking things slowly, not pushing her to sleep with him but just giving her a supportive hug and then they slowly camer to kissing each other. He rejected her when she kissed him in a temper because she was so angry at Max and that was the right thing to do.
I agree. From the few days we saw them together it seemed like Tanya was really changing Sean for the better and a slow build relationship would have been really unique and interesting as they are both so different. Stacey is so selfish. As usual it is all about her:rolleyes: She begs Sean not to ruin her happiness and she doesn't seem to care that she has ruined his.
phil was bang out of order punching jack, as jack did only say he would find out where louise was he didnt say he would find out every detail about her life, its not like phil gave him any time to find out any extra information the way phil was hounding jack
Yeah Preeti had no good storylines at all. Her exit was just as bad! They could have given her a better ending!
I know! That annoyed me too. But to be honest Jack is only doing this so he can get with Ronnie, well thats my opinion anyway
Yeah I know what you mean, but then again if she got an amazing ending we would of been like, awww what a shame, we could of only seen more of her if she had been given the chance
I think she could have been a good character if they hadn't made her wobble over that plank Mickey all the time!
Yeah I know, she was basically a bit of an extra in the end
IMO she seemed like an extra from the minute she joined, cant remember why she even ended up in walford
Honestly I wanted to shake Phil till he was BEET RED AND HIS TEETH SHOOK,, Jack did not have to even find Lisa and Louise for him ,but he did, and if he had been a tad bit more PATIENT..and waited he might have found out that Louise had grown up with some different people in her life, and she MAY NOT KNOW PHIL ( duhhhhhh why did he even try to tell her about him and lisa and that he was her daddy,,,,, she has been away from him since she was a baby,, duhhhhhh EE scroooed up on that one )
Any way it was not Jacks fault, and Phil didn't even know where Lisa and Louise were living ( he probably thought they were still in PORTUGAL ?? ) How does he know that they live in a POXY flat?? The place he lives in is not exactly the Buckingham Palace,, gee whiz
Preeti's exit was about what we expected,,, no fireworks, no blood,no black cab, fitting end for a worthless character.
I was waiting for Jane to get it off her chest with Steven,, good for her..she is going to bide her time.
What ever happened to Billy and Honey and the kids,, are they still at the flat above the Vic with the other Mitchells ????
I was thinking Pat will have a pretty empty house soon...all the Wicks leaving.. the Foxes leaving..Steven moving to Ians.. yup an empty house again.
I think that Jack offered to find Louise for Phil after losing the silly pool match because the deal was, if Jack lost he had to leave Walford. By offering to find Louise he knew that Phil would agree he could stay.
I agree, totally stupid - "Do you know who I am?", how old Was Louise when she last saw Phil? Also very daft that the Primary School she attends allows the children to leave the school premises onto a main road unchaperoned.
Now the thing I don't understand, and maybe someone can explain it to me, is how "for the sake of the kids" of course, Pat is keeping Kevin out of the dodgy motors scam. Won't the police want to know where he got the car from? If there is no paper trail it will look even more dodgy, surely??? I don't really understand how Pat can hope to keep Kevin out of it as he was the one driving the car.
I think its cos it will damage the memory of him and upset them even more that he was involved in something like that
I know WHY she's doing it. What I don't understand is how she can possibly hope to succeed.
Hmm I dont know, I mean if the police have no evidence there is nothing they can do, mind you he is dead so what can they do.
