I wish she would just run off with "Clark KEnt" with out the cape and let Steven get with Abbi, least there will be so good stories as they are both very naughty.
EastEnders may actually be lining up a happy ending for Lauren Branning in what would be the most shocking turn of events in Walford history – as she plans to move away and start a new life with new love interest Josh Hemmings. Lauren and Josh have grown closer of late, having teamed up against his dad James Willmott-Brown. And when the pair spend the night together, they are on a high even though Lauren is worried about Ian Beale finding out and feeling she has moved on from her part in their family too quickly. Josh then gets the news that he has been offered a job in Glasgow and he wants Lauren to go with him – an idea that she starts to come round to, especially as her relationship with her dad Max has fallen apart. Encouraged by Josh’s commitment to her, Lauren breaks the news to Abi who is unsurprisingly not too bothered. Lauren puts off telling Ian but he later catches Lauren and Josh kissing, forcing her to come clean about their relationship. Ian isn’t best pleased and shares some harsh words with Lauren but can she persuade him to give her his blessing and can Lauren get her happy ever after with Josh? Or will EastEnders pull the rug out from under her in the worst way as Jacqueline Jossa’s exit looms?

I think Josh or Lauren will die at Christmas
Jacqueline Jossa has promised an unmissable Christmas Day in EastEnders as she has revealed that the festive season will be the worst ever for the Brannings. The storyline is set to see the double exit of Jacqueline’s character Lauren and her on screen sister, Abi, played by Lorna Fitzgerald. At the centre of the massive drama will be their damaged dad max and the family is torn asunder in shocking scenes that will leave the jaws of viewers on the floor as the action plays out. And while the Brannings will have their most miserable time yet, viewers are in for a treat. Jacqueline told Radio Times: ‘It doesn’t disappoint. In fact, it’s catastrophic, the worst one yet. We don’t even get to sit down for Christmas dinner this year. The episodes are wicked!’
Of course, the joy of being at the centre of such huge episodes is tinged with sadness as Jacqueline says goodbye. And the actress admitted that it will be hard to leave. She went on: ‘I’m sad, but I’m leaving when everyone else goes on their Christmas break, so that helps. But I’m really looking forward to spending more time with Ella. I do feel I’ve missed stuff these past two years.’ Creative director John Yorke took the decision to write out the sisters when he returned as show boss but it’s clear from the recent and very popular episodes on screen that he has a massive plan in store for the Brannings’ most spectacular episodes yet.

EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa has struck a major new deal with the BBC ahead of her return as Lauren Branning.
According to The Sun, Jossa has made a groundbreaking deal with EastEnders which permits her to take on lucrative brand deals. The move, which is unprecedented, could pave the way for other soap stars to make more money than previously allowed.
By negotiating the change in her contract, Jossa will be able to continue to work with big name brands such as In The Style - a company she currently works with.
A spokesperson for EastEnders said to Digital Spy: "As with all talent, we are working with Jacqueline Jossa to ensure her pre-existing deals do not conflict with the show or BBC guidelines."
Back in September, Jossa's return to the soap was confirmed. She previously made a guest appearance earlier this year as part of Thomas Law's Peter Beale return storyline.
Jossa, who left the soap in 2018 after starring as Lauren for eight years, also made a brief cameo appearance last year when she returned for Dot Branning's funeral.
"I'm really excited,"Jossa said of her return. "It's such an amazing time to be back as there is so much buzz around EastEnders at the moment. I've been watching and loving it like a fan. Walford holds a special place in my heart, so it really does feel like coming home."
Just last month, Jossa opened up about how long fans can expect to see Lauren in the soap. In an Instagram Q&A Jossa said: "It's as permanent as anyone there is permanent. Obviously, you can get written out at any time but yeah, it's not a flying visit this time, it's back back. I think it's been so good recently. I'm actually worried to come back and ruin it."
Do we know when Lauren is returning as I know she will return with Penny and Louie but I have heard conflicting information some sources say she will return before Christmas others say in the New Year.

EastEnders has revealed new details on Lauren Branning's return to the show.
It's already been confirmed that Jacqueline Jossa is reprising her role as Lauren, with her comeback scenes due to air in the New Year.
Lauren will be joined by her cousin Penny ? Jack's eldest daughter ? now played by Kitty Castledine.
Lauren and Penny will first be seen in Paris, where they have been celebrating New Year's Eve together.
The following day, Lauren and Penny make a decision that they have to return to Walford due to the events of the evening,
Penny later arrives back in Walford ? but is Lauren with her?
Recent paparazzi pictures showed Lauren getting arrested at an airport as she prepares to return to London.
Explaining what's going on with Lauren when we see her again, Jacqueline said: "She's just spent Christmas in Paris with Penny and Louie, but she has had boys on her mind ? well, one boy in particular. She's also been feeling pretty homesick.
"She seems to have grown. There is still this unspoken and underlying thing that she's Max's daughter, and she always will be. Lauren always fights against that to try to become a better person."
"She doesn't want to be like her dad, and that's really apparent. Louie is her main focus, and she's fiercely protective of him. I want to say she doesn't lose her head as much, but I don?t know if that's true. I think she can navigate it slightly differently.
"She's grown up a little bit ? she's not that 20-year-old girl who screams and shouts at everybody. That's still there in the mix, though."
Discussing Lauren's dynamic with cousin Penny, Jacqueline added: "I am such an EastEnders fan girl that I was going through many different scenarios in my mind and wondering what might happen.
"It's great to have Penny in the mix because I was wondering who Lauren would have that girly back-and-forth with since Abi is no longer with us. Then ? boom ? along came Penny!
"It's so great. Penny is this firecracker, and she doesn't care what people think. Penny does what Penny wants to do, and so there is a really interesting dynamic with Lauren. Lauren used to be like that, but there's been a change and a growth in her. But Penny is an uncontrollable character with lots of fire in her belly, which is so much fun to play opposite."
Jacqueline continued: "It was like magic when I met Kitty because I immediately felt so close to her. We?ve had so much fun filming together, and she is so incredible ? it's been such a joy.
"I think one of the reasons that I've enjoyed being back so much is that I'm in this strong female power duo with Kitty on-screen. I absolutely love her, and she's really good as Penny.
"She's new to this EastEnders world, so it's been fun to take her under my wing, but she's been teaching me things as well. That?s what I love about this show ? you are always learning something. It's just amazing."
