Merry Christmas to everyone on Soapboards from 'The Land Down Under!', & I wish you all a happy & safe New Year!

(We had an early Christmas present yesterday. I will spare you all the details, but my wife has had a bit of a cancer scare - we have had to wait an anxious 2 weeks or so to get the pathology results back, but she got the good news yesterday that it was a (large) benign polyp! So, we can rest easier now, thank God!!).

Apparently my wish for a Destiny's Child reunion fell on deaf ears and I should apparently feel lucky she managed to book Scooch instead. (Euro vision entry that bombed, dont they all)

Im a huge fan of the Glenn Miller sound big bands, we lost the fella flying over to France near the end of WW2, but the sound he craved and worked to find lives on. I play the trumpet and loved my big band days as much as I loved my brass band days...my peak was festival hall brass band wise although playing at half time at Southamptons Dell was interesting.

I enjoyed that link, thank you and in no way did I twist it all around to be about me...oh boy do I need a shrink :moonie::D:D:D:D:D
