History repeats itself in Emmerdale this evening (August 8) as Val Pollard faces fresh turmoil over baby Kyle.
This evening's double bill sees Val (Charlie Hardwick) and her husband Eric (Chris Chittell) left shellshocked when they spot a death notice for Kyle's adoptive parents in the local paper.
Old tensions quickly erupt as Eric orders Val not to get involved, insisting that Amy should be kept in the dark.
However, with a torn Val unable to keep quiet, it's not long before Amy (Chelsea Halfpenny) learns of the tragic development…
