i thought friday's ep and the end scene with chas and cain superb. excellent writing and outstanding performances from lucy and jeff
i said in the cs thread that corrie is on form at the mo and i stand by that, but this ep of emmerdale and the last scene shows the difference between the two northern soaps.
I have about two weeks of Emmerdale episodes to catch up with on my recorder - I would usually keep up with the show, but the past few weeks I've unfortunately lost a bit of interest.
loved mondays ep when debbie caught cain and chas talking ' i asked for a coffee, not a slag.' :)

shirley stelfox is playing the part of edna brilliantly. a complex character, she really does pull at the heart strings.
i really wanted andy to thump declan at the end of fridays ep. :)
