How Was Your Day? High Five

My Aunt got made redundant with no notice so shes upset. helped try support her through that.

Best friend rang to tell me his mum had collapsed at home and had died in the ambulance, so have been supporting him all evening and will be for as long as he needs me. She has cancer, but it was being treated, this wasn't expected .....feel in shock, worried about how he will cope with Mothers Day.

Still getting over MRSA in my back scar, from my back surgery 5 weeks ago. Bee real tough, sorry this is a sad post, but that has been my life.

Senorita so sorry to hear of your mates Mum dying. He must be in bits. The first mother's day is the worst.

yesterday we had to look round the local theatre, it was boring and totally pointless, none of us wanted to be there! had to hand my portfolio in as well which was such a rush and my ink cartridge was running out but i didnt have a new one so i had to hand it in with the pictures a funny colour! also had to pay £6 for a taxi to go and hand it in cos i missed the first bus and the last bus i could get before i would be late didnt turn up! :angry: then had to see a show in the evening, it was alright but im annoyed cos i had to pay £10 for a ticket (should have been £20 but got it for student price) which would normally be good but cos of this new scheme where under 26s can get tickets for free we could have got them for free! its so annoying cos a few of the shows i have been to have been like that or the lecturer hasnt got us student tickets! :angry:

today i slept til 3pm cos i was tired! might go to the silent disco later but i dunno if i can be bothered

Had to buy a new hoover as my Dyson died after nine loyal years service. Where we live we have access to skips for rubbish and OH went to throw the old hoover out after we had done our shopping. When I put the shopping away, I missed one shopping bag. Yes, OH had thrown it out with half of the old hoover bits. :rolleyes: Went back to get rid off the box of the new Dyson and found my shopping next to the old hoover in the skip. Luckily it was there only half an hour and it did not rain and all the shopping was wrapped well :lol:

spent yesterday watching the rugby was very tense at times

returning to bangor on the 7 oclock train tomorrow morning! its going to be a long trip i think, hopefully i will make the 10 oclock tutorial i have

i spent the longest time ever food shopping today! i was trying to find the fridge raviolli that they sell and i couldnt find it anywhere and all the staff were so unhelpful. in the end i just gave up

I love both exeter and plymouth its just the grades im worried about for exeter. Need to talk to my tutor tomorrow

I really need to do my coursework im sort of getting ready to start it, looked through what I need to right cos I got the checklist and looked at last years coursework to give me help on how to set it out and also to remind me what biolofy coursework is like
I might start it soon it depends, it looks like it might not take me long though, and well I can always have a let night sine I got up so late

if you like both of them but dont know about the grades for exeter, why dont you put exeter first and plymouth as your insurance? that way if you dont get the grades for exeter then you can go to plymouth anyway

what are the grades you need for your insurance? if you meet the grades for your insurance but not your first choice then youll get into your insurance

Plymouth want the C in biology rather than the B. In my other subjects I have no worries

omg our house was nearly on fire! :eek: my housemate put a frying pan on the hob and then went upstairs to put her bag in her room and in that 20secs it just burst into flames! i dont even know how it could have got hot enough that quickly! it was lucky i was in the kitchen, the flames were going all the way up to the ceiling! i shouted to my housemate and i opened the backdoor while she through the frying pan outside lol which was pretty scary! although the scariest thing was that the fire alarm didnt go off til about 5mins later! :eek: and then we couldnt remember the code to turn it off so had to go and knock on other peoples houses to see if they knew!

Ok well coursework update: Im nearly done! I surprise myself at how quick Ive done it since I kept starting and stopping and not getting anyway but im actually nearly done, I just need to right out my hypothesis and think of some more variables

Finally back online after three days of no internet. Some idiot managed to crash the servers on this campus, Stafford, Lichfield and Shrewsbury :rolleyes: Must have been the most boring weekend I've ever had. I went out Saturday night about 1am and loads of people were having parties. Amazing how much people socialise when there's no internet :lol:

I did get quite a bit of work done. Pretty much finished one of my assignments and got three lectures worth of notes condensed.

Went shopping yesterday with Sam. He split up with his girlfriend again, second time in four days. They're more off than on. He's starting to annoying me now with it all. It's always the same: they have an argument, split up, he rings me, I waste several hours of my life listening to him ramble on, then he goes back to her. I'm starting to feel used, especially after he rang me at 8.30am this morning. I didn't answer it, he rang me seven times in two hours. Left a voicemail to say they were back together then kept ringing :angry: I'm past the point of caring.

lol! when we had a power cut on the whole of campus there were so many people wandering around and talking to each other, it was great

It has been really weird lately.
2 of my mates split with their boyfriends... so both are really upset.. they're from two different sets of mates, so I'm not sure who to be there for.. like tonight.. will get to that in a min..

Then another mate is like rather ill.. and well there's a story about that, but can't go into it.. so I'm trying to be there for her too and her brother was in a crash yesterday.. not serious but still.. and other horrible stuff been happening to her lately.

Then one of my mates who split with the bf.. i'll call her Ellie... well I said to Ellie yesterday that I might pop in tomorrow (meaning tonight).. cheer her up a bit like... but then my mates from Crymych might be coming to see me now :s which includes the other girl who split with her bf.. i'll call her Zoe... and my mate who is ill... I'll call her Hannah.... so..

Now I can't go see Ellie.. and be there for her.. which means I'm letting her down.. even though she's now going up to Rachel and Tina's... where I was invited to..

And I'm lying to them, cos I know they'll go mad... just so I can spend time with Hannah and Zoe and be there for them.. cos they live farish away, I thought I can't see them as much like.. so I dunno :crying:. It's all so hard!!!! It's not meant to be hard for me :p.

I feel bad now :(. What would you do :S.

not done much, ive been so lazy the last few days, i havent done any work or tidied my room or cleaned the kitchen. the only thing i really did yesterday was go to netball. got to go to my seminar in a bit which is so boring, cant wait for this module to be over

Business = nightmare. I have to have 30 questionnaires filled out by Friday, analyse them and prepare a new product based on the results! I have 9 so far; if anyone doesn't mind filling out a questionnaire PM me. It's mainly about mobile phones, spending, TV use and the internet.

Today it was quite sunny and we were in the common room at lunch. Everyone went outside and this boy came up to me and asked me if it was actually lunchtime :lol:

I don't mind doing a questionnaire Kim.

Had a great night out, met loads of new people and talked to people I knew but didn't know (if that makes sense). About ten of us (half the class) had a three hour lab session this afternoon and we're all so hung over and tired, it was such a struggle. My friend wants me to go for a Patrick's day drink with him but I really can't face any more alcohol just yet.

Mum and dad are coming down tomorrow to pick some of my stuff up. Only got a couple of weeks until semester finishes :D:(

I have to post this i seriously can't stop smiling. I've been giving an Unconditional for college to do Higher Administration, History and English and now Int 2 Modern Studies. But oh my god i can't stop smiling seriously plus he said my thingy that my guidance teacher wrote was one of the best he had seen :o :lol: but yeah had to shareeee! cause i am sooo happy!:cheer:

Just to let you know, I got returned unopposed, which basically means nobody else was nominated for the same position so I won't be in the election. There's a bit of a hu-ha over the fact that all unopposed candidates aren't going up against RON (re-open nominations) in the election. I've got the position anyhow, don't have to campaign or anything. My term starts the first day of semester in September.

yesterday my seminar was so boring, he gave us a proposal to do for our end project and wants it in next week, i havent even thought about what im going to do yet as i thought i had til after easter and ive got so much other stuff due next week i dunno when im gonna have time to do it! i wish they didnt leave stuff til the last min to tell us. and cheerleading was so boring, though me and my housemates had a good bitch about it afterwards, we havent done that in a while!

gotta go to our slave sale tonight, i really dont wanna go but i wanna go out afterwards so i cant really get out of it! :( i dont mind being sold i just hate the way people bid on you especially as no one actually wants to buy anyone
