The straight men are all portrayed as sissies, while for example Robert and Aaron are portrayed as very butch, whilst at the same time getting the most romantic storyline. in real life the opposite holds true.

I agree 100% , completely unrealistic , I`m trying to work out who the only straight in the village is :) , have the writers never stepped outside of Brighton? :)

It's too much of a coincidence that Kasim just happens to be gay and just happens to fancy Finn, at at time when he should be recovering from his accident and surely has other things on his mind. Maybe they could have got together at a later stage but this is all too soon, and anyway, Finn is still getting over his father's death.
And I am sure people won't like me for saying this but I just don't get Ronnie and Lawrence's relationship either.

Ashley's dementia storyline is so heartbreaking...:( Very realistic, and well done so far. He's a really good actor. Poor Laurel-trying to look after everyone. Bernice is no help with Gabby!(as much as I like mad Bernice! :) )

The end of tonight's epsidoe was heart breaking, so sad. Charlotte Bellamy performance was so powerful.
