I think if possible Bex and Louise's parents should sue the school, seek legal action for their negligence
Brilliant scenes between Sharon and Lisa—they took me back to when EE was gritty and riveting. They're both favourite long-term characters of mine.
My interpretation was that he only confessed to the self harm to deflect Carmel from his real intent in rummaging through her drawers (oo-er :o). It was good to hear him talk it about though whatever his motive.
I notice he couldn't get away from Carmel fast enough last night when Shakil turned up as they were about to kiss. That answers my question about whether he has any feelings for her (although I was already aware that he was using her for her connections to the planning department).
Phil's been recouping in Italy.
thought portugal was mitchell's mecca :p mitchelljorca
Perdita they all seem to go to Portugal, so it's not hard to just assume :)
bully phil back taking out lisa
That was shocking stuff!
Please, please SOC do one final good deed and let Lisa get the better of Phil...

Even his own near death experience with his liver and his mother dying, has not made him change his heavy handed bullying tactics  Lisa should team up with Max
Has Lisa ever met Shirley, I don't know why Shirley who also shot Phil is quick to judge Lisa, Shirley is not mother of the year material either :thumbsdow
Was that a therapist in a hospital who Lisa was seeing lying about her time with Louise?
Max wants Lauren to suffer :cheer: I wonder what he has in store for Phil and Ian
Yeah, Lisa is obviously in some kind of metal health help set up. I cant fully remember her back story, I know Peggy and Phil wanted her baby not her, so full on bullied her and cut her out of her own kids life. Then later she got Lou back then suddenly Lou came back to Phil. Cant remember having clinical issues back then.
Yep, Lauren you did the unthinkable you sided with the Beals and let your own dad rot in prison. Now ya reaping what you sowed, twisted nightmare of a boy friend who you only really used to look after your kid which is actually his brothers.
I personalty hope he makes Jane suffer the most.:cartman:
did peggy have louise then she came to live with phil but not sure what happened with lisa
no tan or sunburn for phil but yellow gone now new liver
Max wants to get even with Lauren as well. Poor Lauren being stuck with Steven for the rest of her naturals, I bet she hopes he snuffs it quick. Little does she know. I did feel a little sympathy for Carmel.
Max will come a cropper in the end, once a looser always a looser.
I feel sorry for Lauren at the moment for the twisted way she's being manipulated by Steven, but at the same time I can't help finding Max's revenge on her just a little bit delicious. http://www.picgifs.com/smileys/smile...vil-042296.gif
is some of what max is telling carmel the truth, especially the prison talk, think it is
I think so: he's a typical manipulator, reeling his catch in with heartfelt deep and meaningfuls based on the truth so that he appears trustworthy.
When he was describing his grotty bedsit, I just knew we'd see him in a flash pad by the end of the episode (and unfortunately I've seen speculation that Fi's his girlfriend so that spoiled that twist :(). I'm glad Max's storyline is finally hotting up though.
So Lisa is psychotic (in the true psychiatric meaning of the word)? I'd have much preferred to see her strong and stable (:D) and ready to stand up to Phil. Perhaps his disgusting bullying has triggered an episode--he did almost destroy her before after all. :thumbsdow
Is Eastenders actually in it's death throws? I know we have joked about it ending and having a Dallas style shower scene, but the yuckyness with Max and Carmen and Fi is all a bit horrid.
And if they're bringing Whitney back to flirt/etc with Mick then that's just as horrid too.
The storyline with Lauren being guilted into marrying that nutter who is carrying on with her sister too... horrid.
Dirty sleezey storylines are not very pleasant to watch - perhaps they are hoping to boost rankings with people's outrage.
Couldn't agree more, RW. EE is plumbing the depths now, especially coming after the dubious moral issues of letting Ian and Jane getting away with knowingly allowing Max to go to jail for a crime they knew he was innocent of and the finding of Deano not guilty.
This whole storyline with Max is a desperate attempt to weasel out of the mess they got themselves into with the Bobby story. You see, although he was technically innocent, he is a villain, so it doesn't matter that he was sent to prison because he deserved it. So, good for Ian and Jane.
I did stop watching for a while and then returned hoping there might be some redemption and comeuppance when Max returned, but, sadly, it's just getting worse. I think I'll be off again very soon.
I stopped watching regularly shortly after the Lucy murder .. dipped in ever so often .. getting less and less now .. not missing it and I used to watch every episode!!
oh whitney please do one and f*ck off again, carters are not your family
Turning the pregnant teenager into a thief,
more devious stephen nonsense,
and Shirley, Whitney and then the lisa nonsense.
i think EE is over.
lisa goes to mitchell house no one sees, she then meets sonia clearly unhinged and sonia sees nothing wrong
how did lisa get louise out of the hospital?
So Whitney is back in the square, can't abide her, what gives her the right to work at the Vic? :( I know she has had a tough, tragic, hard life, we all know her sad history but I cannot feel any sympathy for her. Yet I do have sypmathy for Lauren, being stuck with Steven. Abi was so funny tonight, a mini Janine in the making.
Karen made me smile, her heart is in the right place. I think Lisa will end up being sectioned. A good Duff Duff, Phillip is not going to be happy. We may see his red angry tomato face tomorrow.
I'm quite enjoying EE at the moment and think it's plumbed far worse depths (Linda's execrable rape storyline immediately springs to mind). And you couldn't beat the "Who's shagging Kat?" storyline for skin-crawling sleaze. :p
I think the Taylors have promise and Karen has potential to be a classic EE character. I also like Ted and Joyce and am looking forward to learning more about them. The gentrification storyline is intriguing. Abi as a villain is great fun.
I do think EE's days of being must see TV are gone though, and unlikely to return.
I have to wonder what kind of idiots wouldn't notice that Lisa's behaviour is somewhat bizarre (to put it mildly)?
You would think Sonia would have picked up on this. I agree re EE not being must see TV, I don't want that to return to be fair, because that cannot be sustained and was the problem with DTC's era.
EE is far from perfect but I much prefer SOC's vision for the show. A Shame he has gone, I wonder what Yorky has got in store? As long as we don't have helicpoters falling into the the roof of the Community centre I think we will be okay.
Does Lisa see Peggy?
Can we expect a surprise cameo ghostly return from Babs
so now whitney moving woody back in where he was kicked out of, why not get their own flat
Mick is jealous of Whitney Why? Whitney and Woody, seems a little odd. Why is she still in the Vic, kick her out! Well Linda will when she's back I am sure.
The Taylors are setting into the square nicely. I am pleased Lisa has got one over on Phil.
It has gone to far with Max now, by this time next year Max will be gone. Perhaps that was Jake Woods plan, he will go onto do other projects for other broadcasters. He is a real talent and won't need to go down the docu route taken by Ross Kemp.
