Thanks. I am proud of him. Today he has helped a missing teenager to reunite with her mum and dad. He works really hard for local people.

Talking of babies. I took a relative in to hospital today. she is being induced. I cannot wait to finish work and try and catch the birth. Knowing my luck it will be a quick birth! but then hope its quick for her

Little girl born late last night. I did'nt know the mother to be was a corrie fan. She was gutted she went into labour when Peter was getting sentenced. No tv in the labour room. I just gave her a load of spoliers and she was happy.

With all these knitting projects I have to finish before Christmas, I honestly don`t know if I`ll finish them all in time. They seem to be taking forever.
Thank goodness for all the great Brit shows I`m watching while I knit. i wouldn`t get as much done as I usually would if I didn`t have my shows to watch. LOL

Is All Saints the hospital drama? If so, it was shown here in the UK for a while but disappeared. I liked what I saw of it.

I watched it for a while too and liked it, I think the actor that played Miles in Home and Away was in it, if I remember correctly :)

3 blankets, and two of them are queen sized bed size with edging sewn on later, 4 scarves, 5 hats
The one blanket I`m making is for me and hubby in dark blue with a bright yellow braided knitted border. The blue/yellow are the colours of the college football team here...WV Mountaineers. It was supposed to be for our anniversary on Dec 9th, but will have to put it on hold til after Christmas. Here`s the main part of it. I`m about 3/4 complete with it.

Dazzle I tried that salt and sugar thing to help me sleep but it did not work on me. I think i was overly worried about today that nothing could have helped.

Sorry it didn't help :(

I usually find it takes dipping my finger in two to three times to work, but as you say sometimes nothing will help. I think it's worth you trying a few more times as you have nothing to lose by doing so.

I hope today went ok. :)

I am sorry to hear that, swmc, you can hopefully catch a repeat of Corrie but for a contract to be removed because of whistleblowing is greatly unfair :(
