For French Oral I think its best to wtite what your going to say then give yourself well about a week or even alot more, it depends when you found out about it, and then just practise every night and every time you should be able to remember more each time.
Recording yourself onto tape (or even computer) is one of the best ways. Listening to things repeatedly is one of the most efficient ways of remembering things - just think how many songs you know without actually sitting to learn the words?!Quote:

I am assuming you have a presentation to learn and then General Discussion questions?
I have got my french oral mock exam tomorrow, i am in the same boat as you Sam-Elle. Good luck with yours! I've just been generally reading through it when i've had the chance. I hope it goes ok but i am so glad it's just a mock as i feel i won't do very well as i feel i am not prepared as much as i should be.
Another suggestion is to ask your teacher or language assistant (if you're lucky enough to have one) if they would read your your presentation & questions and record it for you so that you can practice your pronunciation, intonation, rhythm and speed.
Good Luck to anyone who has a French Oral exam, my advice, just relax and don't rush, i rushed and panicked and forgot things. Just try and keep calm, if you start getting panicky just stop the tape and breath for a moment.
Are you allowed to stop the tape as in my the teacher could only control that?Quote:

I got a C for the role plays and an A for the conversations but the C made the A drop to a B but overall i was pleased and i am doing the higher tier speaking for the real GCSE too! :cheer: It went better than i thought it would!
Well done Dave!! Thats a great result!
