Last scene of last nights emmerdale saw the amazing case of the moving mugs. Continuity was all over the place as the mugs swapped over three times while ashley and laurel talked.
I don´t have experience with looking after somebody with dementia but should you let someone like Ashley believe he has not forgotten anything like Laurel and Sandy do to make him feel better or should they make him aware that he did forget something? :(
I understand they don´t want to hurt his feelings and stress him out but then it does not feel right to me for Sandy to hide a cuppa Ashley made already and for Laurel not to tell him that the social worker had visited .....
Well... Why tell him, it would only upset him. i had a neighbor with dementia. She used to ring me crying, asking me to help her. it usually was something about her thinking money was missing or she hadn't payed her bills. I went over to her and we went through everything together and she thanked me profusely for my help. Then the phone would ring almost as soon as I got home, that being her crying about her not having paid her bills. That's dementia for you. It's horrible for friends and family, but even worse for the person affected.
Guess Ronnie is definitely not Chrissie´s Dad ...

So pleased Ross stuck up for Pete. Moira deserved that. Pete's face was a picture and Emma looked like the cat that had got the cream. :)
