Scene 6- The Garage- Afternoon
(Tom and Max are in the garage working)
Max: Well i'm not very impressed! Me and Damien are gonna have words when he turns up for work eventually!
Tom: I'm sure Damien hasn't done this on purpose Max! There must be some kind of explanation as to why he hasn't turned up for work...
Max: Well i hope that he has got a damn bloody good reason! I mean, i thought he made a good first impression on us but now he's 5 hours late for work...my impressions of him may have changed..
Tom: He seems like a good, hard working mechanic though Max...give him a chance! When he turns up for work, we'll question him over why he was late and we'll take things from there...
Max: Yeah well, Tom! This is a business...we can't afford to have employees who are 5 hours late for their work!
(Megan suddenly walks into the garage, a load of shopping bags in her hands with a new look and a massive grin on her face)
Megan: Heya Tom...Hiya Max...
Max: What are you doing here!?
(Damien walks into the garage)
Damien: Sorry i'm late....
Max: You better be sorry Damien! I want a good and valid explanation now!
Damien: I'm sorry but i just went to treat Megan that's all...
Tom: Megan!? Oh dear Damien...why?!
Damien: Why!? I'll tell you why...because she's homeless, she has no money and her whole family is dead! She came up to me, begging me to take her in, she was crying!
Max: Crying crocodile tears was it Megan!?
(Megan looks at Max and panics, before looking at Damien)
Megan: Ok..well thanks Damien, i best be off now...
Damien: Be off where!?
(Megan walks at a very fast pace away from the garage)
Damien: Megan! Wait!
(Damien watches as Megan dissapears in the distance. He turns back to Tom and Max)
Tom: Oh Damien! You complete and utter fool!

Scene 7- The Cafe- Evening
(Dave is sitting down in the living room watching television. Felicity comes downstairs and enters the living room, an excited look on her face)
Dave: What are you so chirpy about?!
Felicity: Oh your the one who should be really feeling chirpy Dave...
Dave: Why?! You've lost me...
(Felicity pulls out a speed dating ticket and passes it to Dave. Dave looks at it, and has a very uncomfortable expression on his face)
Felicity: Call it a late Christmas present or a New Year present...whatever you like..
Dave: I don't want it Flic...i don't want this!
Felicity: What!? But why not!? It's about time you got out there and got yourself a girlfriend!
Dave: Just shut up Flic...i don't want to go speed dating...it's not my thing! And i'm tired of you going on that i need a girlfriend..i don't need one! I'm happy without one so stop bloody going on at me! :angry:
(Dave gets up from the sofa and storms upstairs. Felicity sits down and stares at the speed dating ticket. Upset, she rips it up)

Scene 8- The Woods House- Evening
(Tom and Max are talking to Damien on the sofa)
Damien: What did you mean when you called me a fool earlier?
Tom: Damien mate, you have no idea what you've done!
Damien: Is this about Megan?
Tom: Yes it is about Megan! Don't you know what she's like?!
Damien: Don't you have any sympathy?! Your acting as if she's a piece of **** on your shoe!
Tom: You don't know what she's like Damien! She's took you for a ride...conned you out of your own money!
Damien: She hasn't! I've told you! Megan is homeless, she has no friends, no family! She was in tears when she was speaking to me!
Tom: It was fake...she was telling you a sob story...she was lying to you Damien! Taking you for a ride!
(Damien stands up and points to Tom with his finger in anger)
Damien: How dare you! How dare you accuse her of making up such a horrific story as that! You really do see the worst in people don't you eh!?
Tom: You've got to listen to me Damien! She was making it up, she was conning you, she was getting you to feel sorry for her so you could spend money on her without her spending a single penny!
Damien: Your telling me lies Tom! It's lies, all lies!
(Damien storms out of the house, unable to accept Tom's accusations against Megan. Tom attempts to chase after him but gives up and sits down, rubbing his hands in his hair in frustration)

Episode 34
Scene 1- B&B- Night
(Damien arrives at the London B&B in search of Megan. He walks up to the B&B manager)
Damien: Is Megan Blatchley still here? She's one of your guests..
B&B Manager: Oh yes...she's still here...
Damien: Ok thanks...
B&B Manager: Weren't you here yesterday with her?
Damien: Yeah i was.....i've just got to talk to her that's all...
(Damien heads upstairs to the B&B rooms. He knocks on Number 6 where he and Megan stayed the night previously. Megan answers)
Megan: Oh Damien....what do you want?
Damien: I want to know the truth Megan! Did you tell lies to me? Was what you told me lies?!
(Megan has a guilty look on her face, but then starts laughing)
Megan: Oh my god Damien.........i've never met a man as gullible as you, thanks for the cash and the shopping spree! But Damien, i'm afraid to say i told you a pack of lies!
Damien: So...you lied to me, used me! Conned me!
Megan: Afraid so...also may i add, your probably the most gullible man on Earth! :lol:
(Megan slams the door on Damien and starts laughing. Damien wipes a tear from his eye and leaves the B&B)

Scene 2- The Woods House- Night
(Tom and Max are watching television. Damien comes in through the front door and slams it behind him. Damien enters the living room. Tom and Max see Damien standing there, staring into space. Tom and Max turn the television off and put their full attention onto Damien)
Tom: Damien...where have you been?! We started to get worried...
Damien: I went to see Megan....you were right...
Tom: You went to see her?! Did she admit the truth!?
(Damien has tears in his eyes)
Damien: Yeah she told me the truth...she lied to me...everything she said, i believed! I'm sorry...i'm so so sorry....
(Damien starts crying)
Max: Come on Damien...you don't need to apologise! You weren't to know how much of a bitch Megan is!
Damien: I should have spotted what she was really like though...and Tom warned me...he told me she was lying...i should have believed you Tom! How could i have been so gullible!?
(Max and Tom both put their hands on Damien's shoulder)
Tom: Your aren't gullible Damien! You've just arrived here....you were just part of her latest evil scheme! Just stay well clear of her from now on Damien...don't let her pull you in to one of her sob stories again!
Damien: Don't worry, i'm not going to believe a word she says again! I know what she is really like now! I just wish i listened to you earlier...i wish i never believed her! She conned me!
Max: Just thank your lucky stars Damien that she didn't con you out of more money...she could have pulled you into her scheme even more! You could have spent more money on her, you could have kept falling for her wicked lies!
Damien: I suppose that's the only bright side to this situation....
Tom: Yeah it is...don't worry though Damien, Megan will pay for what she did one day! One day, she'll get what's coming to her...the only question is when...

Scene 3- The Cafe- Morning
(Joanna sees Damien looking into his cup of coffee at the cafe. Joanna sits down by him)
Joanna: You ok?
(Damien looks up from his coffee and sees Joanna smiling at him)
Damien: No...not really...
Joanna: Do you wanna talk about it?
Damien: I thought you would have heard about it by now! We do live under the same roof..
Joanna: I don't like to stick my nose in Damien..i'm not like that....i'll understand if you don't want to talk about it..
Damien: No i want too..i want to tell someone...
Joanna: Well i'm here and i'll listen for as long as it takes...i just hate seeing people looking so depressed!
Damien: I look depressed because i've been humiliated! By that Megan girl who works at this bleedin' cafe!
Joanna: Used to work at this cafe you mean....been bullying you has she?! Victimising you?! Like she's done to other people...
Damien: No...she played me for a fool! She told me a sob story about her life and i believed her! She told me a pack of lies...she lied about her own family being dead, who would do something like that!?
Joanna: Well trust me..she sinks to new levels of evilness...
Damien: Anyway, i took her in, paid for her to stay at a B&B...brought loads of stuff for her and gave her money because i believed she was poor and homeless, and had no family...now i feel like a humiliated gullible prat!
(A tear runs down Damien's cheek. Joanna gives Damien a hug)
Joanna: Now come on...don't get all upset...Megan will get what's coming to her one day...she's hurt a lot of people in her time...a lot of people!
Damien: And how would you know?
Joanna: I remember her from Comprehensive School...she used to bully me...beat me to a pulp every day after school...flushed my head down the toilet every lunchtime..
Damien: What!? You didn't let her get away with that surely?! You did tell someone didn't you!?
Joanna: I suffered in silence Damien...i took the beatings...nothing was ever done about it...she just got away with it every time...but now after seeing her arrive here, glamming it up, getting a job at the cafe, bullying Felicity, doing this to you...i wish i did speak up....
(Joanna has tears in her eyes. She wipes them away with her hand)
Joanna: Anyway, it was a long time ago...i've got over it...just try my best to avoid her round here...and that's what you should do too...
Damien: Don't worry i will..i'm keeping away from Megan Blatchley from now on...

Scene 4- The Garage- Morning
(Tom and Max are working in the garage)
Tom: So what's the deal with you and Amy then?
Max: Me and Amy?!
Tom: Your an item now i thought or did you forget? :rolleyes:
Max: Yeah...we are...we're a couple..
Tom: It came as a bit of surprise to be honest, i personally thought she wasn't your type..i thought i knew as a brother what type of a woman you go for but you really did take me by surprise!
Max: Yeah well...
Tom: You don't seem that happy about it! I never knew you really liked her...do you like her though Max? Do you love her!?
Max: Tom, can't we just move onto a different subject!
Tom: I want to know Max...do you think Amy's the one for you?
Max: Yeah she is...i love her...ok?!
(Tom turns away from Max, unconvinced by his brother's response)

Scene 5- Hinston Park- Afternoon
(Sally is sitting on a swing at the park. George passes by in his wheelchair and approaches her)
George: Hey..
Sally: Oh George...hi..
George: So what are you doing here?
Sally: I just needed time to myself...time to think...
George: Oh...well, i'll leave you too it...
Sally: Yeah...we don't want another catfight breaking out!
(George fakes a laugh)
George: Before i go, are you going to the cafe party, it's been 2 years since it opened...
Sally: Yeah...i'll go if i feel like it..
(George smiles)
George: Well i'll see you there...
(Sally smiles back)
Sally: I guess i will...
(George leaves the park, delighted)

Scene 6- The Cafe- Evening
(Pat is making final preparations for the anniversary party at the cafe. The cafe is decorated balloons and banners. Dave is sitting at a table, admiring the decorations. Felicity goes over to Dave)
Felicity: You ok?
Dave: Yeah i'm ok...like i said...i'm ok without a love life! So if your going to go on at me again, i suggest you leave me be now!
Felicity: No i'm not going to moan at you because you ain't got a girlfriend...i realised it's your life, you do what you want...i just came to apologise....i'm sorry...
Dave: I guess i accept your apology...as long as you accept that trying to give me a speed dating ticket wasn't in my best interests...
Felicity: Yes ok i admit that and i'm glad you accepted my apology...it was just a harmless gift that i paid for that's all...i don't know why you got so mad over it!
Dave: Well i'm sorry if i overreacted ok but from my point of view, it sounded like you were trying to persaude me to improve my life by getting a love life!
Felicity: I wasn't trying to put that message across...i'm sorry if i did...
Dave: It's ok..
Felicity: I was just surprised by the way you acted! You were horrified by that speed dating ticket, mortified in fact!
Dave: Can we just forget about it Flic?! And enjoy the party at this cafe tonight...
Felicity: Ok..i guess it's for the best...
(Felicity leaves Dave sitting at the cafe table)

Scene 7- The Woods House- Evening
(The Woods are preparing to go to the cafe anniversary party. Max has just come out of the shower and enters his bedroom, where Amy is changing her clothes ready to go to the party)
Max: Get out Ams..so i can get changed!
Amy: Oh come on Max..you don't mind if stare do you?! We're a couple now after all...
(Max looks at Amy coldly before starting to get changed)
Amy: Don't give me that look Max...we've got to act like we're happy together...remember?!
Max: Yes don't worry...i remember...
Amy: I love you and you love me don't you Max?
Max: No..
(Amy interrupts)
Amy: Don't you Max?!
Max: Yeah i love you Amy...
Amy: And we've got to show that at this cafe anniversary party...we've got to show Hinston High that we're a couple who are in love with each other and that our relationship is solid!
Max: Yeah we have too...
(Amy goes over to Max and grabs his neck)
Amy: Because if we fail to convince, you'll know what'll happen don't you...i'll take our precious daughter away from you...and you'll never see her again! So make sure you play your part well...and convince we are madly in love with each other....
(Amy leaves the bedroom leaving Max feeling worried)
