Ok - here is my day - Went for my scan just now a) to make sure everything is ok and b) to find out what I am having, and guess what - everything is fine, but they couldn't tell what it is!!! Legs kept clamped closed and cord covering everything too, so not a chance in hell of telling. How frustrated am I!! We think it looked like a girl as at one point it opened its legs a tiny bit, and we couldn't see and manly parts, but you just couldn't see........I've got to wait till its born now to find out and so can't buy anything much, except if its lemon or white etc and a sleepsuit **frustrated** But the main thing is everything is ok, and the scan pictures I got contained one of the little ones face, which is really freaky but completely cool!

Awwww, at least it's healthy!
Both mine were quite nice, and allowed me to see their sex. I think it will be a really nice suprise for the day though

I'm so pleased its ok, and I'm convinced the stubborness means its a girl. Its a wierd sort of feeling I'm experiencing right now. I hoped I could change my ticker to a particular colour and now - still not a clue. They said it was a really pretty baby though, and she couldn't say for def that it was a boy, so we shall see.

It must be a girl if it's being stubborn. Have you got an idea what it could be. I did with my first but was unsure with my second

My gut feeling is that its a girl, and I did the ring test which said girl too, but then again it could just be wishful thinking. My hubby thought it was a girl too though. When I was expecting my boys I could only think of boys names, and this time round I can only think of girls names so.... Plus the sonographer told me to do the ring test, so there could be something in it!!

Can't you go for another scan in about 5-10 weeks? :confused:

no they wont let you unless something is wrong etc..
i have to have another at 35 weeks as the after birth might be stuck on to another organ or something so they have to check
