Wahey...I knew Pat was still alive
They are having a laugh!
did phelan swim to ireland
Its like its some kind of soap opera :cartman:
I didnt see that coming, to be fair, some on here did, but did I listen !
Nice to see a soap actually do reaction screen time, in most its a case of "oh poo that happened" then they move on to the next mass killer without a pause.
I think it was obvious, he hadn't died on Friday night, because otherwise (as everyone initially thought) it would have been such an anti-climax to such a long-running storyline. It's also because, regardless of how justified Eileen may have been....it wouldn't sit too well with her character, if she spent the rest of her time on the street with this on her conscience. It's actually taken on the old-Hitchcock formula now, in that Eileen is going to have to prove her innocence (whilst those around, doubt her) If Pat hadn't have popped up near the end, tonights episodes would have consisted of little more than Tracy's over-used bitch-rants (and ironically she totally forgot that she'd actually been in prison for murder herself......I'm surprised no-one jogged her memory?)
Fair play to the people behind 'Coronation Street' though.....it was a pretty well guarded secret (despite Fridays antics being leaked well in advance)
He died and rose again. At Easter - sounds familiar.
Maybe that is it for a while from him. I cannot think he will return for a while but will be dragged back when they need to boost storylines.
I think we shall see him before too long... I think when Daniel goes looking for Vinny's mum in the care home they will discover that she also had visits from a Mr Frost at the same time Daniel went to see her .. I like to think that the connection to Mr Frost and Eileen's passport being in Mrs Frost's name will help Eileen get off the murder charge ... or am I being too optimistic in the skills of the soap police?? :p
I thought Liz was working at the medical centre again
I have no sympathy for Eileen
I think he is in a nearby B&B with an Irish landlady, with that leg cut he could not get far
Summer's grandmother should come to take her, she is homophobic but living with a drug addict and serial killer is not good for her :p Todd took her on the run, that poor child
grieving alya doing my nut in, acting is so bad, she also don't have monolopy on luke grieving, he was longer with maria and tracy, alya kate and rana could depart with zeedan no loss
So another immediate appointment with the doctor ..? Sure helps to live on Coronation Street if you are poorly ...
ali not great doctor manner or even look
Oh gawd spot on, welcome to a world of waiting months and months Craig to even see a specialist who can then put you on the waiting list some time ish maybe within a year if your lucky.
However well done Corrie, I have OCD and fell out with someone recently who insisted, "oh no, you dont have OCD as you dont obsessively clean."
I tried to explain OCD is all about being trapped in a cycle of negative thoughts, compulsions obsessions, but they wouldnt have it. But the obsessively clean usualy is some one washing their hands till they are raw, because they cant convince themselves they dont have germs on them that will kill people, that germ issue can that roll out to every surface , its bad thoughts then can cripple a person. The fact c4 channelled that to make a cheap TV show showed alot about them as a company than highlighting the issue which they were using for entertainment.
If they wanted to do a story about bereavement they could have focused on Izzy when her sister Katy died. They seemed to be close, ever since they were kids, and it would have given Izzy something decent to do. Apart from that scene where she told Fizz and Beth we haven't really seen her grieving - Katy's death seems to have been a plot device to bring Joseph back.
I think they were trying to bring out new aspects of Chesney's character by making him a young single dad but that hasn't really happened yet either.
I thought jude worked in marine whatever in Australia.....or was that a lie too
Yes, and OCD also includes someone having to have everything straight, lined up and in order and in colours , not higgledy piggledy . Cups in a cupboard have to be in order of size and colour, for example. A character in Doc Martin had that particular aspect of OCD . There are many facets to it not just washing one's hands.
He has an inferiority complex then
Jack P Shepherd was excellent on Friday. I just love the scenes with Mary and Jude, they make me smile. :)
Sean, Jason or Julie, this must know about Pat Phelan's killing spree and are staying away from Eileen why?
Even on the run I would expect Todd to make contact
And again Summer's grandmother should be taking her
the jude lie storyline is just stupid
Nor me
I missed a bit, how did Kevin know it was Andy that stole the pickup truck and set fire to the garage?
I have also missed what happened over Simon smashing the car windscreen.
David had better watch himself, for if he ends up in prison he will get more of what he got from Josh.
