Yes, in fact last night, i remembered an episode where Sarah had a mobile phone - can't remember what the storyline was exactly but i thought why doesn't Andy or Ross call her to ask why they are.

(large interview, just copied the end with Ross bits)
Who do you think will be Charity’s next victim – male wise?
So she’s been working with Ross a lot. I mean he’s lovely and I love working with Mike. I kind of think that would be the obvious dynamic because Debbie’s away, he’s been in love with Debbie. That would be a very dangerous territory. But they have got a baby, it’s funny because it’s sort of love-hate with Ross and Charity because they really annoy each other and they’re tied by this child so they have to see each other. I’m not sure where they’ll take it. It could be great that they’re just mates in the end and they rob a car well together.
Are you coming back with a renewed vigour?
Yeah I feel like I’m coming back with a vengeance, I feel like I’m getting my mojo back now. It took me a while but I’m finding my feet again now. Again a new sense of purpose, finding out that she’s running the bar and she’s with Ross. I love the dynamic with Charity, Cain and Moira. I love that, it’s so funny because she’s always trying to wind Moira up and Moira just won’t stand for it.
Did you stay in touch with people while you were off for that year?
Yeah Charley Webb [Debbie] always, we’re on WhatsApp literally every five seconds. ‘What you doing?’ ‘Well what you doing?’ ‘Are you alright?’ ‘Yeah I’m fine, are you?’ And then we think, why don’t we just pick up the bloody phone, it’s ridiculous. Our WhatsApp, if you scroll back and you go: ‘Four hours of this? Just pick up the phone, be done in five minutes!’ But yeah I’ve got some firm friends here.
Even people that I would not necessarily see socially but it was so good to see again. So there was the aspect of meeting new people that I’d not really worked with before, and I think I’m going to be working with Louise [Marwood, Chrissie] soon a little bit, which will be fabulous because I’ve never worked with Louise who’s gorgeous and I can’t wait.
Would you have more children?
Yes I would! Because I think the point being, everybody has a different experience, every single woman who has a child cannot say it’s like this for everybody or it’s like that for everybody. You just can never determine what it’s going to be like. I’m 41 in two weeks so you can never take it for granted. I might not get pregnant. I think it’s the perfect age but you just never know, do you? It might be that I can’t get pregnant. So never say never.

Have Ross and Tracy had any scenes together up to this point? I wouldn't mind they got together whilst Debbie is away.

Here it starts then. Tonight the new partnership between Ross and Charity was confirmed.
I have to say though the way the scene was presenting itself - could the Ross/Charity dynamic make Cain jealous and get back with Charity? He certainly seems to be a bit annoyed. Also when Moira hinted he was "over the hill".

Emmerdale star Charley Webb wants a Debbie, Ross reunion: 'I'd be happy to go back to that'
But the actress isn't sure when she'll be returning to the show.
Emmerdale star Charley Webb has revealed that she would like her character Debbie Dingle to reunite with Ross Barton when she returns to the show.
Debbie bowed out of the Dales at the end of last year after learning that her on-off lover Ross was responsible for shooting Robert Sugden.
In real life, her exit paved the way for Webb's maternity leave and she gave birth to her second son with co-star Matthew Wolfenden last December.
Speaking to Digital Spy about what the future holds for Debbie when she returns, Webb said: "I love working with Mike [Parr] and I think Debbie and Ross are really good together. There's always going to be something going on with those two.
"So I'd be happy to go back to that or something different. We'll see what the new producer's got in store."
However, the actress also confirmed that she doesn't know when she will actually be returning to the show, although she suggested that it could be soon.
"There's still no confirmed return date set - I still haven't decided but I'm sure it's not too far away," she explained. "But at the moment I'm really happy being at home.
"I've not taken [new son] Bowie on set yet - I keep meaning to but people have been to visit. I'm letting everyone come to me."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.

Great 1st episode for Ross tonight.
Love that they're bring humour back for the character. Great fleeting moment with him and Moses. Plus we have also learned about a phobia he has!

Instagram/Facebook/Twitter are posting videos of Michael Parr on set with Anthony Quinlan. So it looks like Pete does come back! News has been rather quite about Anthony/Pete.
Hope there's more scenes and more of a backstory between these brothers.

Ross and Charity were definitely flirting tonight, it's obvious they are going to sleep together soon.
Ross and Charity IMO have so much potential together, Ross is everything Cain used to be and Charity likes that. Cain and Moira are solid and popular so I can't see the writers splitting them so I really think Ross and Charity could start something romantically in there own way.

Did anyone else find it strange how Holly called Ross an idiot tonight when she doesn't even know him? I'm sure when she finds out about all the crimes he has gotten away with she will reason he isn't that stupid.
She's his cousin. I think we are supposed to assume they knew each other as children/teenagers, Adam recognised Pete, Ross & Finn as soon as he saw them when they turned up it would be no different with her and it's likely Adam/Moria talked to her on the phone & she's aware of most of the goings on she knows all about James being Adam's dad for example & they visited her too. I think Ross getting away with what he has done is more to do with the fact other people cover for him, give him alibi's etc more than huge intelligence on his part really.
I thought Moira had to tell Adam and Cain who Ross was when he turned up after being shot?
Holly probably has heard stories though of him and made up her mind from those. She will be another one looking for his help though no doubt.
Ross may have a lot of luck but he does have a brain as well, the amount of jobs he's planned, the people he has blackmailed, how quick witted he is and how he always has an alibi isn't luck. Also Adam didn't recognise Ross so there is no way Holly would remember him so she is obviously going off what Moira has told her and Moira has always seemed to favour Pete over Ross.

True! at least the writers made Ross point that out when Moira met up with him to help sell Charity's car.
Whilst it's not commonly used in this fashion, i think the word 'stupid' now also means reckless, doesn't think about the aftermath.
I think that's what the writers are getting at.
I would just like to see Ross challenge Charity a bit more and show her that he has a brain otherwise she will just con him in the future like she does to everyone. I think the writers are forgetting that Charity got caught in her last scheme and was therefore locked up whereas Ross (all be it by luck at times) has gotten away with everything. Also the other night Ross went on one job for 5 minutes and nicked 10k worth of merchandise yet they made out he needs Charitys help all of the time. Dont get me wrong I like the Ross/Charity pairing but I just dont want it to end up like it usually does with Charity's men, they either die or leave (apart from Cain)
Well I have recently re-watched some Ross' early episodes to see if this is a change to his character for what we are used to.
I think the telling episode is when Ross plans to steal a car from Home Farm (when Declan was there). He asked Cain for his help originally but carried on with his scheme without. Eventually Cain then came onto the scene and they stole more than just the one car.
Later episodes show that Ross does have a lacky for most of his schemes:
Aaron - Home Farm raid, warehouse robbery
Debbie - Ripping of Charlie
