The Aaron scenes were really intense, how can Chas still see Gordon seeing how distressed Aaron is the 'dark' story line between Aaron and Gordon must be very bad indeed. Aaron's running again should of sent Alarm bells ringing and keeping the truth of the shooting from Aaron will probably backfire some how as well. Like usual when Aaron gets himself in a bad way people are too slow to pick up the signs. :(
Adam's the subject of yet another secret DNA test & I'm going to feel really sorry for Adam when the truth comes out about the baby.
Andy and Ross both feeling sorry for themselves at least Andy admitted some responsibility for his actions finally & strange to see Gabby with a new head! & Zak's missing his family.
Poor Ashley going to view nursing homes for himself this is also going to be sad storyline to see unfold,
Kirin introducing himself to Johnny (his son) and poor Adam he loves him so much
Chas needs to see how Gordon being around is affecting Aaron
Aaron , I prefer he hurts himself rather than others (Ive self harmed but Ive never covered up mufder twice):ninja:
Jonny getting a lucky escape from Bonnie and Clyde.
Care homes cost around £3500 a month, wheres Ashley going to get that kinda money,?
What a depressing episode all round, Aaron stressed and miserable, burning himself on the candles of his own birthday cake - I really want to know what went on with him and Gordon to cause this level of despair.
- Chas is terrible going behind Aaron's back & starting things up with Gordon after her promises to Aaron yesterday.
Poor Ashley viewing a nursing home for himself & the scenes with Sandy were heartbreaking. Poor Laurel, Harriet in this situation as well.
Ross learning what fatherhood entails now & Vanessa also showing the strain, it was not a episode endorsing having babies was it but Adam being a loving dad to a child that is not is is also heartbreaking - not a lot to smile about for anyone tonight.
Ive said this before but a nursing home like Ashley was looking at, is between 3k and 4k per month. They really haven't done their research. The council root will really place the role of carer on Laurel the partner.
The care will likely go to family for the time being but I have worked in a care home similar to what Ashley was looking at the way it works is you have assets of more than £23,250, you will need to pay the full cost of your own care. If not & if it's social services that place you in a home & they will if you need 24 hour care and family can't cope it's often a joint decision, they may take your home or assets to pay towards the cost (& health insurance also covers towards it and your income & tax paid are taken into account.) Your home won’t be included in this if a partner or dependant relative live there whether it be spouse or children up to the age of 21 or anyone with a disability. The local social care will have no choice but to cover the costs in these cases, new legislation came into force last year to protect assets from being taken. So they will pay it for those that need to be placed there.
